Is Vark still in the party and invisible? If so, then could he scout the rooms and let us know if there are enemies in a room before moving down the hall. I would not want an enemy behind me.

From down the hallway, Saul's voice echoes again. "Bojask, put that damn pig back in its cage or I will come out there and put it down."

Moving this along, since there seems to be a stall. Right now, you guys are in the cellar room in the basement - it's on the far right of the map.

Saul's voice calls out again, now slightly panicked - "Bojask? What is taking you so long?"

Vark whispers "Give me a second. By the way, this place stinks of troglodytes."

His feet shuffle on the ground out of the wine cellar, leaving a thin set of footprints in the dust behind him. For a long minute, there's no sign of his return, not even a whispered breath from the message spell. The tension builds as Kwava looks nervously at the party, mumbling something about going after him.

Just as Kwava begins to move to the door, Vark whispers back, "He's in the Octohedron. Just, uh, know that's he's got company down here."

Feeling the familiar twitch in her eyebrow as Vark mentions Saul's location, Nel lets out a heavy sigh. "What do you mean company?" she hisses out menacingly, more annoyed at the fact that Saul had an unknown ally than at Vark. "Let's move out. We wouldn't want to keep Saul waiting." Hefting the large pig onto one of her shoulders, Nel makes her way towards the arena, intent to return the boar to Saul, just as the vindictive man had requested.

This sand-floored room is dark low light conditions; those without low-light vision have a 20% miss chance and quieter than ever before, with no drunken guests placing bets on fights between animals. Saul leans against a wall, a little too casually cleaning his fingernails with his key-hand as two thugs circle the room. One of them takes a moment to kick an older man who's been tied, gagged and left in the northeastern corner.

"Well, I can't say I wasn't expecting you," Saul says with a confident laugh. "But I can't fathom what you want."

I'll take the two potions of cure light wounds. Everyone else (including Orthrus) take one potion of cure moderate wounds. I'll take a lesser restoration and a remove paralysis potion as, usually, I should be able to help folks off the line. Gillian, why don't you take a remove paralysis potion as well? HP: 1d8 ⇒ 5

Heh! No changes from what I already had then.

Male Half-human Witch (scarred witch doctor) 7 | hp 51 | AC 14 T 12 FF 12 | CMD 17 | F +6 R +6 W +8 (+2 v Pain) | Spd 30' | Init +2 | KnArc +11, KnHis +11, KnNat +12, KnPla +12, Perc +8 (darkvision), Scrft +15, SensM +1 | clw wand 50/50, enlarge p wand 46/50 | sick

Level 7 thus far--still need to buy/make stuff:
Orthrus has the Fast Learner feat which gives him +1 hp and +1 skill point with each level of his favored class (witch).

hp (+2 Con, +1 favored class): 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4 So [4] + 2 + 1 for +7 hp

Note: Orthrus just took the usual average of a d6 rounded up to 4 (except for 1st level which was max) for each level up to this point.

Skill points = 2 + 4 Int + 1 favored class = 7
+1 skill point into each: craft (alchemy), knowledge (nature), knowledge (planes), profession (cook), spellcraft; +2 skill points into perception

+1 1st level spell slot, +2 4th level spell slots!

New free spells: black tentacles, greater infernal healing. Probably buying more spells.

New feat: Extra Hex (flight)

Gibraltar 34/34 hp

Hit point: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 6 hp it is

HP: 77 max

+1 skill point into diplomacy (+15), Disguise (+3), handle animal (+12), Know (arcana) (+12), linguistics (+15), Perception (+9), and Ride (+7)

Language learned: Orc

I will have Nel updated tomorrow. I just got back into town after attending a funeral and I am emotionally drained. Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the update. Feel free to make sure your characters are in the place you want and enjoy all the free form rpg you feel like doing. I'm keeping an eye on things and checking in daily. The other campaign is ready when you are.
