Andreas it has been almost two weeks since your last post please post by wednesday.
Sorry for the prolonged downtime. As I indicated some time ago, things are rough for me at the moment. My finances evaporated essentially overnight, and I've been scrambling to find new employment so I can get by; half a package of ramen a day simply doesn't cut it, and trying to secure the basics keep me busy and leave me drained at the end of the day.
I had a promising phone interview this afternoon, so things are looking up. I'm really hoping things will settle by the end of the month.

Hey guys what were DM ARC's character creation rules?
They're a bit scattered throughout the recruit thread. The main points were:
Only Paizo books allowed aka CORE, APG, UM, UC, ARG (pending approval)
No synthesist summoners. I will allow Gunslinger but I would run core to Golarion where they are almost unheard of outside of Alkenstar
Core races and Orc (should be a core race) only
And NO evil
Level 1
Twenty point buy
two traits plus one campaign trait I'll be posting soon

Hey everyone, I am t tying out for the team. I was thinking that a human Viking type barbarian or a Dwarf might fit in with the group without stepping one anyone's toes. What do you guys think?
We do have a number of fighter types, but the more the merrier.
Not to ruin things, but I think the bonus from the challenge only applies to Rutilux himself. I could be reading his ability wrong.

Rutilux has suggested the half plate either go to Jediah or himself but I had forgotten about a certain paladin who could also make good use of it, sorry there.I'm guessing the studded leather might be intriguing to our rogue, ninja, or ranger type.

IMO, if you have the chance, play what you will have the most fun with. If you're looking to stand out, well, you'd be the only dwarf among the PCs, but many of us aren't Ulfen either so you wouldn't exactly be lost in the crowd there either.

Well guys I already finalized the barbarian, but I think he will fit into the group well. He has some stealth abilities and he grew up in the wilds in the area. I got the head nod and I am very excited to start playing with you guys.

Thorvald, warrior of old is an elf trait not human, and can you put your AC in your header including touch and flatfooted.
Crap ok, there are other ones that do it too. Reactionary, I liked the sound of warrior of old :).
Reactionary is a combat trait, as is armor expert. You can't normally have more than one of each type of trait. DM will have to confirm, but you might want to look for a back-up.
Arc I was wondering if I could adapt Defender of the Society to this setting based on Thorvalds upbringing and background.
If not that is perfectly fine and I think I will go with
Veteran of Battle (Venerate Gorum as a requirement)

I don't think he had one. The whole purpose of this trip was to get the axe. Unless he lied to us to get revenge for his son.

To the west, the Lands of the Linnorm Kings are even more hostile towards Irrisen. The proud Ulfen that inhabit the Land of the Linnorm Kings have not forgotten how Irrisen was once a part of their lands and how the treacherous crone Baba Yaga stole the land from them, even if that was over a thousand years ago. Along this turbulent border, the white witches have erected huts much like Baba Yaga's Dancing Hut to ward of trespassers. These huts each contain only a single porcelain doll in the imagine of a crone. Each of these dolls contain the corrupted soul of a stolen child, at night these dolls come alive and hunt any foolish enough to invade Irrisen.
