Outward description:
Hurin has blue-grey colored eyes, with a chestnut brown colored beard and hair.

He is very tall and stout for a dwarf with pronounced muscle mass even for a dwarven warrior. He wears dwarf crafted armor inscribed with swirling faces of dwarves looking out from places wherever there is exposed metal along with dwarven runes.

Dwarven Runes:
The Runes on the armor proclaim that the wearer of this armor has named status in Clan Torkrest and the gives the names of various ancestors and deeds the Clan Claims as its members. There are also prayers offered to Dwarven Gods and reminders that the ancestors are watching the wearer of the armor.

He has a battle worn shield made of darkwood with metal reinforced rim and a spike in its center. Runes are inscribed around the rim.
Dwarven Runes:
The runes proclaim that this shield was forged in the Forges of the Iron Hills Dwarfhold of Clan Torkrest. There are offers of prayers for the swift bashing of those who oppose its bearer and threats of grudge curses for any who use it might bring dishonor to the clan.
