Mayla's background is one of a traveler though she was born and raised in town for most of it. She is known as the "Pretty Face" around town.
And originally was one of the unselected but because of some circumstances was selected to go.
There are many ways to incorporate a story with her. Either seeing some of her unknown acts of kindness or catching her practicing magic when she got the chance.

Takeshi is the enfant terrible who everybody loves to hate ;)
He enjoys life, and lives for joy.

You know Selene you have just prevented me from using my spells right?
They are area of effect and with you standing in front of Groyshna you took away the ability to use them. We were heeding your words and was buying people time.
By description this sounded like a choke point of such and so I would actually get to use the spells without hurting people if people continued.
And Mild stress relief for the character. So if Ah'mera has Nabu, who is picking up Fadj other side?

I don't think I understand what you mean. But just assume I stood in front of Groyshna and you're standing next to me now?
Takashi and Enev are carrying Fadj now. In a prior post it was to be Takashi and Groyshna. Groyshna dropped Fadj to go play hero (or in a last ditch effort to escape?). Ahmera is carrying unconscious Nabu.

I am willing to wait a day or two for Malya to come back and gives her decision (staying to fight the goblin dogs or going back to Kassen), knowing the player is going through some rough time, and the decision is really important for the character.
Do you agree with that?
Meanwhile, I'll found a way to introduce Tane as quickly as possible in the team, to replace Ah Mera

Sorry for the delay. Originally it had been a way to explain my absence from the group so everyone could continue on and I was going to work with our DM to figure out how and why she got back while buying you guys time to hurry on.
Either was as a wizard and sister/team mate obsessed with protection its very clear what she would do. She would stay and fight. She has two spells left and baring people getting in the way she can use them, hopefully to great effect. Also, she is unconsciously trying to show Groyshna that not everyone will just leave him behind. Even he matters. Even if it is only to a few.
I will post shortly.

I feel bad about nit being there.. how far can takeshi do his +1 bardic thing :-)
Selene Vosmus
Inspire courage requires line of sight OR simply within earshot.
To be affected, an ally must be able to perceive the bard’s performance ((http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard#TOC-Bardic-Performance) )

So it is possible that Takashi could be as far away as 230 feet and Selene might still hear it (5% chance), or it could be 260 feet away and Malya might hear it and Selene would not.
I imagine once we get a map for combat, that Takashi and Enev havent made it very far.

initiative was done, and its' your turn, selene, Ah Merah having acted:
Dogs are 20 feet from you, and will be considered Flat Footed (CA 11) for one round. The hard rain gives you -4 on Perception rolls and Ranged attacks.
Init, Ah Mera: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Init, Groyshna: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Init, Essa: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Init, Malya: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Init, Selene1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Init, Selene2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9So Ah Merah, Selene, Malya, Essa, Groyshna
The 2d dog missed its Will save, let's say its the most Southerly dog (don't know if "Southerly" exist ^^, but it's the one facing Groyshna)

Where is Roguk exactly? It is hard to tell on the map. Is he the dark character pieces to the NW of Essa? I can't increase the size of the map enough to see the details. Roguk should be by Essa. You mentioned he was guarding Fadj (which doesn't make sense)? Isn't Fadj in the stretcher with the other group? Or did you mean Nabu who is the other character there near our group?
Roguk should be with Essa.
Selene Vosmus
@ Essa; I think Roguk is the baby ape picture by Nabu
@ Eschie; most of us readied actions awaiting the dogs to come to us so Malya could set them on fire. So I think it is the dogs' turn to move towards us, trigger readied actions, and proceed from there. Unless those sausages have made the dogs waste more than one turn.

Sorry lads, super super super mega busy at work... Trying to post as much as i can, between eat-work-sleep etc.
If it becomes too much of a hassle DM, you can always kick me out. I would be sad, but understand.

Hey GM, what is the general sense of justice that exists in the world? Does Kassen have a typical medieval style justice where criminals are likely to be executed or banished or imprisoned? Or is it some sort of blend of modern sensibilities, where there will be a trial of peers and innocent until proven guilty with society friendly rehabilitation?
Do our characters have a general sense of what sort of punishment would await a murderer? What about accomplices?
DM Lil" Eschie
I was thinking about that, because it's a good question.
Kassen is a CG town, so the punishments aren't too harsh probably, but they aren't set in stone either, meaning people can do a difference by talking for or against a case.
Essa would be the least one of the party to know that kind of thing, as she tends to live more outside the town.
Enev would probably be the best knowledgeable in laws of Kassen (or any of you with a good Know-local skill- Takeshi& Malya)
Accomplices are judged in measure of their involvment in the crime
Murder and other serious cases like that are quite rare in Kassen. Death or banishment are mostly the rule, as there is no "prison" in the small town
There will probably be an informal judgment, by the mayor and elders or people of power in the town.
More on this later. You'll be involved, be sure. ;-)
DM Lil" Eschie
If you don't want to play throught the trial and go back to the regular adventure, I'll understand and won't be angry or sad. ;-)
I just want to know what would please my players most. Without any feedback by wednesday, I'll consider the trial will happen in the background of the story, and let you know what happened.

I like the roleplaying, although I feel i should apologize.
Been working two jobs and just came out of a 48hour shift, so my responses are shorter and less frequent than i'd like them to be :(
