Venkar - Keep the Amateur Gunslinger. You can't pick up EWP because your BAB isn't +1. Just pick up the EWP at 3rd level. Venkar's just a bad shot for now. You'll need to choose a grit ability.

Rowan is out of funds for a second set of stealthy armor at the moment, he'll go without whenever he needs to go sneaking. I choose perception for my +1 trait from Pioneer and my other spells are listed under Special Abilities, I just have the offensive spells listed under offense. Sorry for the confusion.

Venkar - I have no problem doing any collaborating, but I do plan to shoot for a leading position. After all, how can anyone take advantage of my machinations if I can't instruct them properly?

More or less, I'm trying for a "commander" role, where I can serve from the rear with controlling effects and tactical orders, or from the front with a reach weapon - just enough to stand behind our strongest!

And since we're talking about rallying support...

If I were to be in charge, know I would organize your groups based on synergy, group dynamics, and having as many options as possible. There would be a balance between us all, guaranteed. I'd probably organize you with a lieutenant-like position so each group could report individually, and the command structure would work in a matter most wondrous as information travels up the chain.

All I ask is a bit of trust in you, my compatriots, and we'll carve out a piece of this land for ourselves - all of us, united to one grand cause, under one banner!


I would not be averse to such an arrangement Casimir, provided I recieve no further support in leadership. I do not intend to solely govern any body and would rather only step in as needed to settle disputes.


Also, Venkar, while I'm at it I might make you a suggestion: I noticed your character calls himself a 'mage gun for hire.' If you're going to go the route of guns with your guy, to save you on feats and pain, why not take a single level of Gunslinger at level 2, or start with it and go into sorcerer afterwards?

Another thing to consider would be that same dip, and go myrmidarch magus, so you could shoot spells through your gun. That way, you could even eventually hit up gun training later, and you only lose a bit of the magus' features for some cool flavor!


I was considering taking a level of gunslinger and then going back to sorcerer. Thanks for the suggestions though I will consider them.


I'd like to apply for a position within the expedition as well.
My previous campaign of Kingmaker has only recently met an untimely end and I don't want to give up on this character.

Lanya is a seductive sorceress in the employ of House Medvyed as an emissary and a diplomat of sorts. She acts in both politics and intrige and is proficient in them as such.

Also she likes to work behind the scenes if she can, so her Allegiance and skills might be put to work somewhere else instead of being the leader.


Personally I'm shooting for Warden more than anything else. Dantalion isn't a tactician nor is he a diplomat. More than anything he wants to protect Brevoy (well that is for now when we get into building our own kingdom it will be that). That being said he could also be the Spymaster, not getting recognition publicly but keeping crime down, or he could be a Spymaster by keeping an eye out on the other kingdoms.


I would most prefer Magister or Treasurer myself if I am deemed undesirable as a Ruler.


Mechanically this guy seems weak...
I think I'm going to have to rescind my character.

Not just a bit weak, but severely lacking in ability.

The hit to bardic performance just sort of knocks out a considerable deal of usefulness.


I think, if not deemed right for a leadership position, I'd settle for something akin to general, or something else to take advantage of my natural inspiration!

Brevoy is in turmoil. 7 Great Noble Houses rule the land. Houses Garess, Madvyed, Lebeda, Lodovka, Surtova and Orlovsky are ruled over by the House Rogarvia. I was thinking of doing that. Already proficient with the longbow and take a Dex mutagen + bombs and rain down hell.


Regrettably you can only have one bomb arrow per turn as Explosive Missile is a standard action. Even the Fast Bomb discovery doesn't change that time.

Appearance:
Felix is a good looking memorable man. His red hair is rare among his Taldane brethren. His piercing eyes a bright metallic grey. Though no one would call him large, only topping his height at 5'6 and 145 lbs sopping wet, there is a quiet power to the man.

Background:
Felix has always been plagued by prophecy, and he has always tried to turn them aside. When he was six he knew that his father would die by his hand, so he tried to turn aside this vision by plunging his hands into the hearth fire, his father died in the house fire that resulted from his frantic flailing. When he was nine he knew his mother would drown so he pretended to be sick so she would not go to the yacht races, that night she slipped in the rain and was found the face down in a puddle. Felix has learned that no matter how hard he try to dissuade it, fate has a way of doing its will no matter what he would do. Now in his 23rd year it has been five years since his last vision, and he fears the return of the visions and the deaths he would cause. He has decided that if he removes himself from his home land he will have removed his curse from his family hall. With all the death that has surrounded him Felix has dedicated himself to the preservation of life, and with all this he hopes he will be able to bring those skills to good use in the Stolen Lands.

I'm Clan Surtova and would enjoy the leadership post, although willing to work towards general, warden, or royal enforcer.


I'm pretty sure we are all happy to vie for leader, that being said I will take either High Diplomat or Councilor as I believe I can do the most good in those postings.

I'm content with Wilhelm's backstory as an Orlovsky and would be happy to collaborate with a few other Orlovskys floating about. I primarily chose the house for the "avoidance of conflict" aspect. However, that might also be well-served by House Surtova. If I switched to Surtova, there seems to be a natural pairing between older/wiser/gruff(?) Dante Skyborn and young/brash/charismatic Wilhelm. The more I think about that, the more I like the idea. If we need a hook, it would be easy to see how Wilhelm would jump on the opportunity to seek 'glory and fortune' if he heard of the opportunity from a family member. As far as political positions go, I see Wilhelm seeking either to rule or to fill some martial position. Kertuffle, are you using the expanded kingdom building rules from Ultimate Campaign or just the ones in Kingmaker? Also, I'm done with my profile for the most part. Any remaining changes would probably be tweaks.

Noticing Lanya among those present, he approaches with a lopsided smile, Ah, our lovely enchantress! I'm surprised our lord would willingly part with your skillful service. Such fair company is welcome amidst these rough adventurers. He nods at the large group nearby, Quite a crowd forming and jostling for position already. He heaves a weary sigh, I hope these people aren't as tedious as I fear. Well, endurance overcomes all. Let's hope our house words ring true.
