Daphne Hermstos
Well how very original.
With that Daphne fall into line behind the others as they enter. Her crossbow at the ready.
Ebonfeather Sharpclaw
Ebonfeather simply nods and follows Drazh into the hallway with his bow out.
When we reach an intersection, he will stop and search for traps.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Drazh Anviltamer

With hammer ready, Drazh strides forward.

After a short bit of walking, you come to a large room. Ebon you do not notice any traps. The room is cubical. On the far side there are four doors. Nothing distinguishes between them. They are all about 10 feet apart. Each door, as usual for a pathfinder game, spans one tile, or 5 ft long (that's really long for a door...).
Drazh Anviltamer
|
"Well **** me beard. Four doors goin' gods knows where. Any suggestions?"
Daphne Hermstos
"Vira, what would your suggestion be. That is why your with us I believe."
Noticing the size of the doors.
"Those doors are wide enough for my fat Uncle Morty."
Ebonfeather Sharpclaw
"All right, I'll open the door, sheesh."
Ebonfeather opens the leftmost door and peers through.
LegitName
It is a large hallway that goes on for as far as you can see. The ground is very sandy. The walls are a brown rock. Every 20 feet or so a burning torch is hung/placed/lit (basically, there are torches on the wall that are lit, providing adequate light.)
As you push open the door, five earth elementals rise up out of the sand. Three of them block the hallway. The other two stand behind them.
Initiatives:
*Elemental 1: 7
*Elemental 2: 17
*Elemental 3: 19
Elemental 4: 6
Elemental 5: 2
*These are the ones that are blocking the hallway.
Would you guys like to roll your own initiative or do you want me to cover it?
Vira produces a dagger. Eat mud, you rock people! She yells.
Vira's initiative: 20 (not natural)
Ebonfeather Sharpclaw
"Caw! ... erm, Does anyone know anything about Elementals?"
Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Drazh Anviltamer
|
For the sake of time I think you should roll initiative for us. One idea is to take our initiatives and take the average. So we all post together at the same time, which would be a big time saver for combat heavy maps.
We roll for initiative 6, 10, 20. That's an average of 11. So you'd do Vira and 2 elementals in one post. Then we all post. You then do the remaining elementals and start the new round. This would really cut down on waiting for people to post.
Initiaitve: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
"Steady! We don't know if they're hostile yet."
Daphne Hermstos
I am find either way for initiative, you roll or we do, that said I never love the average but if it better for you that is ok. I just feel the average blunts the ability of characters build specifically to be fast are handicapped.

Ok... the order will be:
Vira
Elementals 2 and 3
Daphne
Ebonfeather/Mushroom (I ordered you two by a 1d2 dice role and it happened to be the order you responded in as a nice bonus)
Drahz
Elemental 1
Elemental 4
Umberto
Elemental 5.
I won't be able to post again until Tuesday, so here are the moves of Vira, and the two elementals:
Vira runs up to the first elemental and slashes at it with her dagger. There is contact, but the dagger bounces off the rocky skin without doing any damage.
Elemental 2 attempts to slam into Vira. Their bodies collide, and 5 damage is dealt.
Elemental 3 also attempts to slam into Vira. He also hits, dealing 6 more damage. Vira looks staggered. Ouch! she yells. That hurt, you igneous idiot!
Daphne Hermstos
Daphne dosn't trust Vira but also deos not want her dead. She keeps her distance but attacks element 2 after Vira is hit.
"Away form her you!"
Crow Bow Hit: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 5 + 1 = 22
Dam: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Ebonfeather Sharpclaw
Vira certainly is a brave woman. I'd hate to see her killed so early
I am trying to envision the map. Since the 3 elementals were "blocking the hallway", I am assuming it is 15ft across. Vira rushed in, so likely all three are in Melee now and also providing cover for the two behind them. Going to anticipate the other two elementals moving though the ground to get behind us. I'll at least keep them from flanking Vira...
Ebonfeather steps up behind Vira and attempts to keep her standing by casting Cure Light Wounds.
Cure: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
He points toward Elemental 2 and instructs Mushroom to Attack. Mushroom steps forward next to Vira. Ebonfeather applies Aspect of Bull on Mushroom to increase her Strength.
Gore Attk: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Dam: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Drazh next
Drazh Anviltamer

Lifting his hammer, Drazh rushes over to Vera's side. He hoped that his hammer would break rock better than her dagger.
Hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 6) + 4 = 11

Given the close quarters, Umberto drops his Lucerne hammer and draws his greatsword, which he swings at the nearest elemental.

Elemental 3 attempts to slam into Drahz. He also misses.

I'm a little surprised Vira didn't choose to utilize the flank on #3. She is a thief, right? (Not that it mattered this turn)
Daphne Up, then Ebonfeather/Mushroom.
Daphne Hermstos
Daphen finding herself uncomfortable close to the attackers will move south (well to the bottom of the map column between A and U).
This opens me to attack but I cannot be this close and be effective!
If she survived the aoo she fires at the closest attacker. (5)

Elemental 5 somehow replaced me on the map. I was directly behind Vira, preventing her from being flanked. I am not sure where 5 really ended up, but I will assume in the space between me and Daphne. If so, I would be adjacent to both 3 and 5.
Enraged that Mushroom has taken wounds and finding himself nearly surrounded, Ebonfeather goes into a frenzy. He enacts Aspect of the Bull on himself (+2 Str) and attacks with beak and claws.
Attack Elemental 3 first, then 5 if any hits are left over.
If 3 dies, I will 5 foot step next to Mushroom after the attacks.

Ebonfeather would like to take advantage of a flank with Daphne, but she doesn't threaten with a ranged weapon (I think), so he will 5-foot step into the space where #3 was and launch a full attack at #2.

In the last map I accidentally said that elemental 4 was dead, I meant elemental 3.
For the sake of simplicity, let's say that the dead bodies are buried in the sand enough for them not to cause any noticeable obstacles to the combatants.
Daphne deals 2 damage to Elemental 5
Ebonfeather, you kill elemental 2 and then you claw elemental 4.
Drahz misses.
Elemental 4 is angry at Ebonfeather so he attempts to bash him. He hits, dealing 10 damage. Ebonfeather, you're lying on the floor bleeding to death.

Sorry Umberto, that misses (Although it would have killed if it hit).

Vira attempts to stab elemental 4. Nearly crits. Instead deals 4 damage. Does Drahz make it so that Vira is flanking elemental 4? Because if yes, then she deals an extra 4 damage.
