I just got the email, they are about to send out the AP so get ready to rumble. I should have it in a few days hopefully! As soon as they charge it to me I will have the PDF instantly to start reading! Still waiting to hear from Hokory and dethom about their pc's.

I'll be counting the minutes till we finish the AP; been wanting to play in one since Pathfinder was first announced, but I'm not looking forward to keeping myself from reading them.

At least the fiction and usually one of the articles in each issue will be safe to read ...

Also, to Bahir, since we are of the same faith and even have the same trait, what's say we tie our backgrounds somehow. Maybe since Mah'ysa isn't much of a fighter, then Bahir can be the sword arm that was sent to not only clear the temple but to also protect the less combat adept cleric. How does that sound?

I have a .pdf staring at me from my desktop; when you get the chance to read through it, let us know what articles are good for us too look at and which we should stay away from. Until then, all I read is the fiction.

Well good news I have got the PDF and the day off to read up! We'll start either late tonight or sometime tomorrow. As for those who have the AP, the story for now is safe, after I get into the AP more as the day goes on I will let you know is anything else is ok to read! Game thread coming soon!!!!

OK! My background and description are on the character sheet (looks like just in time too!). If there are any additional tie-ins you all would like to have with Bahir just let me know and I'll try to work it in.

Feeling the touch of the whip to his back, the GM reads faster and faster before a revolt takes place. Still working a few things out and getting to know some of the NPC's who you will meet right away! Seems the camel situation has been solved thou as each of you has been given one for your journey so don't waste your coins!!!! I will post the game thread this afternoon, I promise! Five of you will begin this journey together, good luck and good rolling(on my part of course)!

I've got to purchase the players guide as well to finish things off. Will try to be as fast as possible seeing as how you've started things, but I have two young kids that tend to chang my schedule without consultation, so you never know.

He'll be finished by day after tomorrow at the latest, but definitely playable by tomorrow.

So far awesome intros everyone. Looking forward to seeing the rest. This looks like it's going to be a group of very interesting characters (and looking like it will work well together and have alot of synergy). :)

Just tagging the thread. Also would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for letting me join. My enthusiasm for desert campaigns stems from my love of the Darksun setting. This should be fun. It's also my first Druid so who knows how that'll work out :).

Druids are powerful, versatile, and hella fun to play IMHO. Hope you have fun with him and welcome to the desert :) I live in New Mexico so it's just like home for me ;)

I have a question that I don't know has been answered previously or not. Are we tracking and using the achievement feats from the player's guide? I can see tracking Relentless Butcher, All Gnoll's must Die, Flame-Tested Survivor (hopefully not but one can never tell), and Graverisen (again, I really hope not) potentially for Bahir.

Nice! Thank you :) I love it when a game has some good momentum (and frankly, I am a posting fiend - probably should join some 12 step support group for that). Coffee shops without wifi exist anymore?! Thought those went out with the dinosaurs....

If anyone wants to go for one of the achievement feats I have no problem that. Just keep it on your pc sheet each time you gain something towards it. Its up to each of you to keep track on your sheet. When its time let me know!

My apologies for not posting anything; I based Daumari's personality, in large part, on one of my oldest and closest friends. He died last Saturday, under somewhat mysterious circumstances, and I've had difficulty putting my mind to this game since. Could you run me as an NPC for a bit?

Sorry to hear that. I had a close friend pass away about a month ago and needed some time myself. Take as much as you need. I'll try and give it a go until you return.

Yes take as much time as you need! RL comes first and we all understand how its hard to get your mind in the game when something happens such as this! I am sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you and his family! Take care and Bahir the Behir will take care of you while you are taking care of yourself!

Now this will only work if everyone is going to purchase the PFRPG core rules! I do not want to pressure anyone, I know money is tight for everyone and even with the PDF going to be only $10 I don't want to assume anything. So if everyone is going to buy the core rules we will make the switch. There is no hurry here to make the switch but I am really excited about the new rules and am hoping to use them as I bet you all are! So the question of the day is: Will you be purchasing the PFRPG? And I guess another question would be,When?

I'll be getting the PDF as soon as its available. I'll be getting the hardback as soon as I can afford it. Buying from here in Ausland is pretty expensive in comparison to what you guys pay over there. I'm not sure how direct purchase from Paizo and shipping will compare, probably no different.

However, with the PDF, at least I'll be able to convert across.

Zoomackulas, I'm going to be gone for about a week. Could you dmnpc Efreat till I get back. The plan for next round is to throw the rock with the light spell into the darkness. I have one 1st Level spell left.

Already pre-ordered a hard copy but not planning on getting the PDF. Willing to update as soon as I get it :)

Well, if the PDF is only 10 dollars, then I should be able to get it. won't be buying the Hardback as I don't like carrying around more than I need. As for when, I don't have an estimated time right now but I will let you know as soon as I do.

This is a link to the Pathfinder SRD using the Beta and will be, I assume, updated to PFRPG when it comes out! So everyone should be able to easily switch over when the time comes!

Hey Zoom. I was just wondering if I would be able to add the Legacy of Fire basic trait to Mah'ysa's character sheet. If you look at the sheet now, I only have the campaign trait because before i didn't have access to the right book. I just recently got my hands on the player's guide and wanted to add Strength of the Sun as that seems to best fit Mah'ysa's concept, either that or Blade of Mercy.

Yes please do!!!!! Its funny because I just noticed it last night that you were missing the trait and then you post about it the next day! Your choice on the trait just let me know!

No worries, I'll just start again with the next round. And you didn't get him killed yet so I'm a happy camper; that's my job. ;P

I am sorry I have not posted for a couple of days but its bloody hot here in Seattle this week and my apt has been an oven so its been really difficult to sit at my computer and post. Motivation zero! Sleep, I have had only a few hours over the last 3 1/2 days. Brain not functioning! I am going to post tomorrow night because tonight I need some sleep, its cooled down enough where I might get a full night sleep so Thanks for your patience and understanding!
