Spells memorized updated
EDIT fixed the HP for toughness, thanks Sarkaukar.
Sardaukar
Hazreem: Noticed you list +6 Hit Points for Toughness. Toughness gives +3 plus 1 for each level beyond 3. This should be at +3 at 3rd level.
Toughness
You have enhanced physical stamina.
Benefit: You gain +3 hit points. For every Hit Die you possess beyond 3, you gain an additional +1 hit point. If you have more than 3 Hit Dice, you gain +1 hit points whenever you gain a Hit Die (such as when you gain a level).

Efreat wrote:spells known added: burning hands, mage armorI take it you were short a known spell last level as you should of had a total of three at 2nd and four at 3rd.
Nope. table 3-15 first level spells known at 2L=2, 3L=3 (plus one for bloodline spell).

Pae will level later when i have books to hand and time to decide where I'm going with the character..frankly I'd still like to rebuild him from the ground up but I know that isn't going to happen..in fact I'd like to wait till I have my APG to hand before making final decisions..what is your policy on the book?

Duh, yes. For some reason I was adding the extra spell for spells per day but this is spells known.

I have the APG on order, it will ship with my next subscription shipment. I'm assuming everything would be in. Hopefully they didn't put anything in there that would make a character too powerful. I haven't read any of the reviews on it.
Is anyone else having difficulty getting to paizo.com messageboards lately? It seems the last couple of days it has been very spotty on whether it works or not. But then I've been down in Chicago all week using a public network, so it may just be that. But everything else works fine.

It's been a busy week for me. Sorry for my lack of attention. I've been spending a lot of time with my nieces; I return home within two weeks, and want to get as much quality time with them as I can before I go.

I find that http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ really comes in handy if I'm away from my book.

I may be out of touch this weekend as I move back to Nevada in preparation of the coming school semester. In fact, I'll be packing my computer as soon as I'm done leaving these messages on a couple of sites I frequent. Feel free to NPC my character as needed until I return.
DM Wellard
OK...once this fight is over Pae will be leaving..and so will I.
I can put up with the bleeding hearts over dumb beasts, I can put up with the unfortunate dice rolls that alerted the boar..but I will not put up with you people deliberately sabotaging my characters efforts to accomplish this mission.
FYI.
When the rogue crits his sneak and goes forward to scout you do NOT alert the gaurds by throwing spells at them that you cannot be sure will work..not until the rogue is in a position to dispose of the ones who don't succumb.
FYI
When the rogue is trying to get away you do NOT attract a pack of Hyenas towards him with a damned dog.
As you people seem to have no tactical sense whatsoever I am removing myself from the game before I suffer an aneurism at the next piece of total stupidity

You do realize the Dog will not appear until next round correct, as the SNA is a full round action? I'd advise you to vacate the premises once the dog shows up.
EDIT also reading the spell description, and rechecking the map, the range is Close aka 40' so Hazreem cannot summon the dog in front of Pae, as he is too far away.
Sardaukar, please amend action to summon the dog 40' due south of Hazreems position. Thanks.

Dude, I totally apologize.
I made an unwarrented assumption you were just angling for a better sniper position and kicked the ball off early. If it's not too late, I'd like to hold my stated actions until the signal is given by the scout.

I'm assuming you are referring to your sling glove attack as the sleep spell has already been resolved. Though you already know your sling attack will be an epic failure, so taking that action back...
I'm still waiting to see if there are actions from Efreat and Bahir before posting as I generally give 24 hours to post before NPC'ing. I've written most of my post, just waiting to plug in their actions. So your action could technically be changed, but this is a minor battle and I wouldn't worry about it. The guards have already been alerted and the "hounds" released. The battle market is where things will get start to get interesting in this campaign. That's why I'm kinda pushing things along to avoid people getting bored with the clearing of the town.
This discussion thread should be better utilized for those "table talk" items. Ideally it would all be role-played in game, but that seems to drag out in the play-by-post format. At least with this group's availability.
Sardaukar
Mah'ysa: I was recently thinking about the Sleep spell you casted a couple rounds ago. This was a Bard spell, hence the low charisma DC that kept one of the gnolls awake. In my RPG experience, I've never experienced an Arcane caster who was wearing armor subjected to the Arcane spell failure, so I didn't think about it. I've never seen a Divine/Arcane combo spellcaster used in practice. But wouldn't your bard spells all be subjected to a 15% failure chance due to your wearing of studded leather?

Apologies for my extended absence; I made an impromptu trip out of state last weekend, and since my return I've been swamped with preparations for the coming semester.
I'll try to get back into the habit of checking in daily, but I may be absent with some frequency over the coming weeks; I need to find a balance between my classes and a new work schedule, as well as get settled in the residence halls.
Sardaukar
Whoops, just noticed that I forgot to fully turn back on the fog of war last time. I generally make it partially transparent when I'm erasing it so I can see what it under what I'm erasing. I forgot to remove the transparency and saved. Hopefully the low turn-out on posts indicates no one noticed.
So move along, nothing to see here. Ignore what you saw behind the door. :)

It looks like the full size image is available on Picasa Web, but for some reason it won't let you view it online at that size. I couldn't figure a way around it. You can download from Picasa and viewing it in another view, such as Windows Photo Viewer, and you can see it just fine.
Since I am generally modifying the map with it zoomed in anyways, I'll just take a screenshot when I'm done and save this to a zoomed-in file that will also auto-sync to the website as well. Some of the maps going forward will be rather large, so this will also work good for them.

Sardaukar would you mind providing us with a consolidated list of everything we gained from the battlemarket. I'm having some trouble keeping track of it and I assume that our people with spellcraft will attempt to identify anything magical in nature.
Hazreem, don't forget that weird contraption you wanted to come back and look at.
Did we get anything off that undead or demon outside? Can't remember. Actually there were a bunch of gnolls out there too.
Sardaukar
I've updated the list on my profile with all the items found within the Battle Market. Assuming that detect magic would have been cast on everything to determine if magical. Most items are magical except the heavy mace and the small vial. But luckily the vial was labeled. It contains 4 applications of silversheen (not in Pathfinder Core Rulebook, but from 3.5 days). Can be applied to a weapon to grant it the silver property.
The gnolls outside were using spears and light crossbows. The gnolls inside the battle market were using short bows and battle axes. The demon outside had that magical halbred. No one indicated they were carrying it around, though a couple of people were trying to figure out what the residue on it was.
