I would greatly prefer if everyone were at the council already and got a position now rather than in 6 months. That might be weeks or months away.
With 6 other PC's, will Sable still be a PC? 7 players is on the high side if we're all adventuring together (not that we have to do that... But it would be fun to bring the whole party).
Also, how does a Surtova member work out with the princess?
Best role for Halseen might be magister. It'll be awkward to rearrange that role though...
I am fine with them at the council they need to walk in and present their case.

So, looking at skills and stats. Sir Christian would make a horrible spymaster but a better marshal.
Jevar would make a better Spymaster. He has pretty good stealth and Perception. If it ever came up to a point about their skills getting involved in the matter.
Though if we were talking optimal situation, then Jevar would make a better Marshal and "Catrina the Sly" would make the best Spymaster being both a Rogue and a Bard.
That is why I offered Jevar the spymaster position... ;)

So I'm thinking, as part of the agreement to include the dwarves into the kingdom, there'll be one of their number on the council, and the dwarves volunteered Helferick after hearing that being on the council would mean he'd be spending most of his time at the castle, i.e. a long way from the rest of them :)

2 raging fighters, a raging ranger, a ranging paladin, a raging skald and a raging wizard and you :).
Enlarge person and haste will be awesome for every one of us. My song already provides enchantment bonus to strength so bull's strength won't be great. We are rather limited in our options for crowd control.

Crowd control was going to be my focus(enchantment, conjuration), buffing second, condition removal/utility thrid. Haste will be my one of first third level spells, though there is another option if we want to prioritize crafting.
His cat a solid trip score so can help CC on the martial front.

- Do 'Xs' mean explored or explored and cleared?
- Have all x hexes been claimed? I think 18 is claimed and 9 as part of the build. Which have both been made settlements with farms. and we are going to claim 6 on turn 2.
- I'm inferring the new Kindom starts is in 18, which is the zombie fort you cleared out. Is this correct?
- Where is this gold mine we are trying to connect to? This seemed to be the one definitive goal in the Gameplay portion of the meeting is that correct? Looks like hex 6 claimed, settle mine build on turn 2.
I still have to give another read through the part of the plan that happened in the discussion. Kingmaker is a tough campaign to jump into homebrew elements what it even harder. I will catch up eventually.

The X's do mean explored and cleared for the most part there are a few places that the other side of the river needs to be explored still but in only two or three hexes at most.
Nothing has been officially claimed on that map, Johanna or others that are doing the claiming can put a yellow mark around each hex claimed or something like that.
Yes we are starting in 18, where the castle now resides and is the booming capital of our colony.
I was going to do the Kingdom making as a flavor effect more than anything and will continue with that idea inspired by those that do the actual kingdom making.

So if no one has a mining stake then when riding through the hex I will do perception checks but it will be unlikely to see it as you ride by, DC 30.

Balazar post if your Cha changes. The +2 changes one of the Econ rolls giving us +1 BP, if your chat goes up it will change 2 more of rolls increasing out treasury 2 more at the end of turn 6.

I think I succeeded the proper skill check to do it? Handle Animal isn't 100% replaceable with Wild Empathy but idk...I mean it's also not technically an infant. (Rearing an animal is supposed to take place only with infants....and you can do it with up to 3 at one time...so there are a lot of ifs and by GM's discretion.)
I'm debating taking a level in another class just to pick up base Wild empathy but man...that's just a waste I feel. Though, I suppose if I had to do it, grabbing a level of Ranger (Freebooter) would not be a huge waste. It might put me a round behind you guys but that's not horrible.

Yeah Jevar I looked over the skill and you would really need wild empathy or some similar spell to get the effect you wanted. Though as long as the handle animal check is 20 over its HD and is an animal I am fine with it. I wouldn't worry about picking it up unless you want to.

Sadly I don't believe we have a single druid or speaker of animals. Also sadly, Jevar has no charisma so he would make horrid for attempting to diplo animals...hmm, now I have another issue.
