Alright everyone, here's the discussion thread for the campaign. This is where most OOC chatter and questions will go, along with some important stuff when we don't want to clutter up the game thread. I'll be posting some links here in a little bit (mainly one, to a short guide to playing on forums.
In the meantime, you should familiarize yourself with how to format your text in posts. The information is down below the text box, and it'll be useful for designating what parts of your posts mean what. The most important are bold and Dice: 1d20 ⇒ 17, as these will show what your character is saying and roll dice for you.

Alright, so I'd ideally like to have everyone on here and ready to go by the time we start, but I'd rather get going soon, so we'll go as soon as I have time to post starting tomorrow--I have a summer job that takes up a fair amount of time and energy, so I might not post for a day or two after that. We're going to start off a little bit slower, with spoilered text for each individual character/player. That means it'll be in spoilers you have to click to see it...
I'd like everyone to reply in spoilers as well, so the thread doesn't get too cluttered. You can do it by putting your text inside the following format: (spoiler=What the Spoiler is 'Titled')Your text(/spoiler), with [] instead of () as always.
Does this mean I don't want anyone looking at anyone else's spoilers? Not particularly, although if you don't it'll be more surprising to you when you all rejoin. In general, unless I specifically say not to look at a spoiler, it's not a huge deal if you do look at it--as long as you keep any knowledge your character wouldn't know out of the game. So if I have a spoiler for a scout that says there's two enemies around a corner, and you aren't the one scouting, your character doesn't know about those enemies yet.
Anyway, like I said, I'll give this another day or two and then start things off. To show that you read this, please reply with a spoiler that contains a brief description of how religious your character is/has been up to this point. Not everything in its finest details, but a general idea: they pray every day at dawn and dusk, they offer thanks when something special happens, they rarely if ever invoke the names of the gods, or they're actively atheist (which in this case doesn't mean disbelief in the gods, but a total refusal to praise them or even recognize them as powerful beings who affect the world)
