Just want to check on the silver weapon blanche Megan.
Barezata... if you would like Silena can enchant you a pot of Silversheen {PF Core, p. 529}... that will do the same thing magicaly as would the alchemical Silver Weapon Blanche. Its a little more expensive since it is magic ... 250gp 'Market' - 125gp 'Crafting cost'. Of course, Silena would only charge you the crafting cost. She does have the time to enchant it out of the 2,000 gp of crafting time she has available.
Barezata al-Zarqa’
Silversheen replaces properties of the base metal rather than being additive. Since weapon blanche is not available a better option is to purchase 50 silver arrows for 102 gp and 5sp (if those would be available). If not, I'd like to see if I can rejigger my level 5 skill selection to pick up some needed crafting skills.

Silena led Sonya and anyone else that wished to attend to the cage she has had Kardswann held in since his defeat & capture; the guard is at least 35'ft away from the tarp covered cage.
As they approach Silena nods at the guard to stand down and back away ever further as Silena approached and uncovers the cage.
She says nothing, but lets Sonya do the questioning.
Silena Dulare
Sonya sighs in exasperation at yet another dead end. "This trail leads no further. Let us return to the temple and end this."
Silena shrugs, "It is as much as I suspected... or expected. Yes. Let us be done with this possessing fiend!"

Once everybody is ready, you make your way back to the ruined church. Near the centre of the church stands a forlorn stairwell that leads down to a heavily barred door. A strange metal plate with a glowing series of irregularly etched lines mars the surface of the door, casting the stairs in a dull red illumination.
Who has the interdict key?
Sonya Amir
Sonya's pauses at the door for one final prayer over the group before they enter. Upon finishing her silent prayer she takes a deep breath in pressing the interdict key to the door and releasing the seal.

Matching the ridges of the interdict key with the glowing series of irregular etched lines on the interdict seal at the barred door to the church's crypt causes the red glow to fade, as the key and the seal fuse together. The door can then be opened easily, revealing stairs leading
down into a small crypt carved into the stone under the village. The crypt itself is unlit, and the air stale and cold.
Who's going in? I think we need a party order & what folks are holding.
Silena Dulare
Silena comments to Sonya, "...If you wish sweet Sonya, I can bear the remains of the priest you wish to inter here, I know you are not 'physically' very strong."
Then without hesitation... Silena opens the door and heads down the steps... her great axe - FIENDFELL in hand, her spiked buckler strapped to her wrist.
Her natural Darkvision giving her clear sight of the dark crypt.

Hijiro
Hijiro will be near the back of the party bearing his cold iron rapier... moving warily.
perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Sonya Amir
"As much as I desire to return him to his rightful place. The high priest can not rest while evil lurks in this church. We need to sanctify this place first."
Looking down the stairs her small frame shivers at the chill air blowing up the path. "I know you can see in this darkness, but the church of Sarenrae should be lit." With a simple incantation Sonya illuminates Fiendfell with a light spell.
Sonya falls in just behind Silena following her down the path.
Barezata al-Zarqa’
Barezata carries her bow, her buckler strapped over her forearm on the same side and a nocked cold iron arrow on the other. Moving quietly and carefully behind Silena, she scans for any movement, sound or dangers that threaten the group.
Stealth: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (7) + 18 = 25
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Do we want to move in a diamond formation? Silena on point, Sonya and Barezata side-by-side behind, and Hijiro at the back. Not sure if S.W. is with us anymore. I am willing to scout, but I think our preference has been to move as a group.

The stairs lead to a rounded stone-walled chamber with a featureless door in the north wall. A ten-foot-diameter circle of mortared stones at the centre of the room marks a well that descends even deeper into the earth. Next to the well, on a small pedestal, is a large gong. A short stick capped with a round pad of moldering leather dangles from a cord attached to the gong platform.
There is a single door on the far side, which is closed. There do not appear to be any creatures in here.
(I'll try and do a map tomorrow when at home...)

Silena Dulare
Silena stalks into the chamber eyes darting about looking for threats... she easily falls into diamond formation as the Lion's advance into the crypt.
Looking at the blank door with no handle and the gong she grimaces, "... looks like there will be no entry ...until the crypt's guardians {or current occupants} are made well aware of our presence..."
Silena casts detect magic and pans her sight about the chamber...
Sonya Amir
Sonya scan's the room curious as to why there is no handle on the door. Her mind begins searching her memories for how to pass this room. How a follower of Sarenrae would build this.

I'm here, just haven't been in a position to post for a while. THe new job is great, but my body is not much liking adjusting from working very late to having to wake up early.
Samuel will follow behind the others quietly. He will cast detect magic and glance around the room focusing on the well and the gong. "Could they have set something up with the door that requires interaction with the other stuff in the room? The gong especially seems rather random."
Hijiro
"Probably have to sound the gong to open the door." Hijiro shrugs as if to say he's got no other suggestions but this seems obvious.

The well drops 30 feet before ending at a thick stone plug that appears to be the bottom but Barezata's sharp eyes detect a thin gap between the bottom of the shaft and the 'floor,' as if the bottom may have slid out from the side of the shaft.
The door, the base of the well and the gong all detect as magical.
Silena Dulare
Silena grouses but smiles at Hijiro, "Yeah... this whole place is magical... and yes Hijiro.. you are correct, it is obvious you need to ring the gong... thus informing whatever... likely magical guardians are here, to our presence if we are to go any further. Unless we try to physically destroy sections of the crypt.. which I'm certain Sonya would not want."
Silena walks over to the gong, hefting Fiendfell on one shoulder, "So.. someone will have to 'ring' the gong... everyone get yourselves prepared... meaning defensive spells and what not.. I'm going to ring this and get this party started...!", as she gestures to the gong.
She waits for everyone to either get into position or cast their spells... gesturing to Sonya she says, "...sweet Sonya would you please stand next to me while I do this?"
When everyone is ready... in her typical feisty-ness... Silena halls back her fist and punches the gong with her silver spiked gauntlet...'ringing' the gong quite loudly!
Sonya Amir
Sonya signals to her friend to hold a moment. "I agree with your assessment that the gong will likely open the door and summon guardians, but I disagree with your approach. Do not take up arms against the guardians should they appear. No guardians of Sarenrae would attack one of her faithful." Sonya steps before Silena rather than beside her, unfurling the robes of the High priest and producing her Holy Symbol in her hand plain to see.
"Go on, ring the gong."
Silena Dulare
Silena pauses and nods solemnly, "Ok Sonya.. we'll try it your way."
Silena rests Fiendfell with it's axehead pointed downward resting on the floor.. and she backhands the gong with her silver spiked gauntlet.
Though not ...per se threatening or menacing with her axe...it would take little effort to make it so...
Barezata al-Zarqa’
Barezata retreats to put her back against the west wall ensuring that she will have a clear shot if needed against the north door, well or gong. She obeys Sonya's desire and leaves her arrows in her quiver, but is ready to draw and shoot quickly should the cleric misjudge the nature of the guardians.

Hitting the gong causes the door to slide into the ceiling and the 'floor' of the well to slide into the side of the shaft at the same time. Faint rumbling can be heard from both locations.
Seconds after the gong is rung, a gout of pinkish, swirling vapour rushes out of the well, coalescing into three man-sized shapes—roiling fiery forms of beautiful winged angels with fire for wings and hair. They gather themselves as if to attack, but then pause motionless in front of Sonya.
Sonya Amir
"The Everlight's blessings upon you guardians. I am Sonya Amir, acting high priestess of Sarenrae in the church of Kelmarane. We seek entrance into the crypts to lay to rest the High Priest of this church, and to purge it of an evil taint that has come to rest beneath these halls." Sonya speaks with a clear conviction making sure to keep their attention on her proudly displaying her garb and symbol.

"They aren't taking action. Maybe we just need to proceed while Sonya has their attention. North first?" If everyone agrees, Barezata will move back into her position in the second row of the marching order. Otherwise, she will use her climbing kit to set up a descent into the well and descend.
Climb: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26

Silena cocks her head at the winged creatures.. trying to identify them... muttering, "Very pretty.. but what are they...?"
Kno: Planes 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Turning to Barezata, "I think you are correct Barezata... but we should be wary. I do not think followers of the Dawnflower favor insidious lethal traps for intruders, but they may well have cunning secret passages that may avoid their guardians. We should be on the look out for any secret door or conceal passages."
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
- looking around for any secret doors or concealed portals.
She nods, "North is tactically the best direction. If there are other guardians or foes below in the shaft it will be easier to face them from above or at least on the same level. But if there are foes or guardians to the north... it will be far harder to fight them climbing out of the shaft as they wait in ambush when we leave. Best to secure this level first of any foes guardians before going below."
"Sonya hold the ...'guardians' attention while we all exit to the northern chamber... we will hold until you are with us..assuming the guardians do not follow you."
Silena hefts her Fiendfell, the ornate enchanted Great Axe catching a flickering the fiery light fromt he guardians eeeriely about the the room and doorway as she moves forward taking the lead through the northern door.

Through the north door a 15' passage leads to a large square room. The walls of this large, rough-hewn chamber contain several niches for burials. Shrouded corpses, most reduced to skeletons decades if not centuries ago, pack the niches from floor to ceiling. A raised dais in the centre of the room bears a ceramic cask with a elaborate top capped by a figurine of Sarenrae.
The 'guardians' do not follow as you make your way through the door.
Sonya Amir
Sonya keeps her eyes on the fiery creatures enjoying the warmth rushing against her skin. She waits and watches each of her allies enter the next room before she takes even a step. Once everyone is out of the room, Sonya will make her way into the northern room.
Assuming they won't attack me.
Once she is in the burial chamber she bows before the cask of Sarenrae. She lets out a quiet prayer, "To those who have given their lives before me, may you rest easy in your eternal slumber."
Her prayer complete she will rise to her feet. "There does not appear to be another exit from here. Given that, if you do not mind to wait, I would like to bring the high priest from his temporary site and lay him to rest in the proper manner of one of his station."
Silena Dulare
Silena nods in acceptance, "It seems a task long over-due. We'll wait..."
Silena turns to the rest of the Lions of Kalemarane, "I trust I do not have to tell anyone not to disturb the copses... least we find even more 'guardians'?"
Silena herself searches the room looking again for any secret exits or concealed passages... but mostly waits patiently and wary for Sonya to finish her task... ready to cast her protection from evil there IS supposed to be some possessing fiend in here.
Perception: {Take 20! As Sonya will be busy for a while I'm expecting} 20 + 6 = 26
- Searching for any secret doors or concealed passages
Sonya Amir
Sonya steps outside the church and removes the rocks covering the high priest one by one, using Cailin to help un-bury the corpse and carry it back into the church some time later.
My guess is the whole process should take an hour or so.
Once inside once more with the corpse of the former high priest, she takes the body from Cailin and carries it to the burial niche and lays the body to rest.
Sonya silently moves back before Sarenrae's statue. Producing her waterskin she washes her gloved hands of the taint of undeath while silently praying over the corpse at last laid to rest.
Finally content, Sonya's somber face shifts to one of determination.
"I want this demon gone. Only then will my people truly have the peace they have earned."
Hijiro
Hijiro stands in the room very still, fingers clasped together while he concentrates on keeping his hands to himself, overcoming his natural tendency to wander and fiddle with things that aren't his. Somehow in this place, it seems inappropriate to do so.

Silena and Barezata discover a secret door which opens onto a stone worked tunnel leading off into the darkness (bottom left of this chamber).
Meanwhile, Sonya and Calin fetch the remains of the former high priest Halruun to lay him to rest. As this task is completed, a relieved, thankful sigh echoes through the chamber.
Sonya, you feel a sudden heaviness in one of your pockets.
You all have the benefit of an aid spell for the next hour.
Sonya Amir
The voices calling out their thanks reminds Sonya as she quickly bows before the group, "My sincerest thanks to all of you for your patience and understanding in this matter. May the Dawnflower's blessings be upon you."
Lifting her head, her attention shifts to Selina, "My guess, since this is the burial chamber, the well's door is the path we seek. Did anything turn up in your search?"
If Sonya can slip to the back of the group for a moment, she will search her pockets and see what is in there.
Silena Dulare
Silena shrugs in reply to Sonya, "... there is a possessing fiend of some sort in this crypt... if your setting the Priest of this temple to rest causes distress or pain to this fiend.. then I'm glad to help. The Church of the Midnight Lord are most rarely ever allies of the Dawnflower's servants... but I use the power of ZON-KUTHON to spread suffering, torment and pain to the wicked, evil and those deserving of punishment. The Midnight Lord cares not as long as suffering is spread in his name.. he cares not 'who' is targeted. I would not call what I do~ or my methods...'Righteous', but I am not making Golarian a worse place than it already is by pursuing my chosen victims. Happy to be of service.. 'desert rose'!"
"Yes, Barezata and I found a secret door... to another chamber. She is correct we have no idea where this field Xulthos is lairing... we need to check all the rooms of this crypt.. until we corner the wretch, and end him.. slowly and painfully .. preferably."

Sonya, you find a large reddish-orange gemstone in your pocket. It's an elemental gem (fire).
So, secret passage or down the well?
