OK,

Megan has ok'd 3 new players for a total of 6.

Here are my votes and reasons for them.
Megan has said it will be group consensus so we will need to pick once
Jengren and SW have voted as well.

Agmar Firefox- Dwarven Inquisitor of War. Fills skillmonkey role, backup healing and Makes an awesome melee buddy for Calain.

Faelyn's Archeologist Bard- Takes care of the all important TRAPFINDING, also has a ton of skills and will fill an archer's role (an area we don't have covered)

The last one I have been sweating on for the last hour.
Either Silena Dulare or Boria Tustadan.
Both worship Evil Deities which was a slight negative (mostly because I have seen it rise as a bad idea in too many other parties I have played in)
Both Fill similar roles of Full Divine Caster (despite the one level fighter dips)
In the end it came down to one thing to separate the two.
Megan is a one post a day GM and games require players who can really carry a post, writing like a story.
Of the two both seem to be able, however Silena Dulare is known to me for nearly 2 years roleplaying, never dropping a game I have been in, displays mastery of the rules and can write a bloody novel off one post (which is a good thing).
So sunphoenix gets my 3rd vote.

The rest of you, do not despair yet. I am only 1/3 of the existing party and the final makeup will depend on Jengren and SW's votes.

Ah, by that, I'm out of the running then.

I don't think Jengren is keen on my approach to the healer role. I do, however, not blame you for picking an assured veteran at this over myself, as I've only just started.

Regardless, who knows. I might have a chance regardless.

Here are my votes:

1. Faelyn's/Amon-Ra Hotep Arch Bard has my vote. He fills the Trapfinding and skills we are missing. I DM for him in another game, and I know him to be creative in his posts which to me is an important factor.

2. Silena Dulare - fighter/cleric provides the melee/divine role. I have some reservation with the worshiping of an evil deity but his posting history was key to me.

3. Sonya Amir - provides divine role. I was new to the PbP boards less than a year ago, and I like to provide one relative newbie an opportunity to get experience. I did read through some of your post with your character Beau Trill.

There were some nice builds but we were limited with space. Good gaming to all.

Called it! Haha. Oh well.

That means

Faelyn's Bard and
Sunphoenix's Cleric are confirmed with 2 votes each.

Both of you, please hop into the discussion thread and Megan can sort how to bring you both in. We are in camp now so that works.

Sonya Amir's Oracle
Agmar Firefox Inquisitor both have one vote.

We just need SW to confirm who out of those two are in.

Here's hoping. I am fairly new to pbp but I can promise to post once a day (usually can post more if gm can) and can show my activity with Beau.

IF I'm not chosen, I do wish you all happy gaming.

Hahaha! Ok. I'm still working on Silena... mostly her gear which is all wrong... I'll eventually get her history written and her personality, but fear not hr worshiping an evil god... you will find her take on Zon-Kuthon's worship an ...interesting if strangely creepy and disturbing point of view. She is definitely not out to harm the party... well not in such a way they would want to turn her away or conveniently see her die...

The whole point of being a sadistic masochist is you have to equally mix pain with pleasure... so that your victims...er associates keep wanting you around despite the fact that you bring them as much pain as pleasure! That's the height of being a sadist... encouraging your prey to truly want you around even though they suffer for it!

THAT takes skill and kindness... mixed with a few squeals of pure agony! haha!

Silena does not want ANYONE in the party to die, cause then they cant suffer anymore! So she will keep her infliction of soft torment to the barest minimum.

As Silena would put it...
"Life IS suffering... but it need not destroy one... those who bear under the pain and still find the sweet bliss of victory are made stronger by the wisdom of pain's agonizing reminders!"

"If they die... they can't suffer anymore and they don't learn anything! Life should be experienced and learned from... by the torment of soul-agonizing suffering and the sweet... sticky... messy... bliss of ecstasy... in ALL its forms!"

"ALL should make joy ... under pain of suffering! For in the crucible of strife... comes the wisdom of the strong... and the survivors who stand scarred... but triumphant!"

"All must be smashed.. by the Hammer of the GODS! That which is good will rise again... that which can't... should NEVER have been!!"

But, can Calain DO her?

The man is a gladiator, so a little S&M probably won't bother him!

After looking at both Agmar and Sonya, I am going to have to go with Sonya. They are both really good characters, but there is just something I can't really define about Sonya that makes me feel she'll be the better fit for this party and this campaign. Mechanically, she has some very definite challenges in combat, but the character as a whole just seemed like a stronger candidate for this particular group.

The call is made. SONYA fall in!

Yes sir!

Too bad. Best of luck to all of you!

Got two slots open for players. We need Arcane and Rogue... but another fighter would be cool too. Got plenty of Divine Magic.

Post up if there any interested parties! :)

Oh, it's Meghan's LoF. I'm in her Carrion Crown game. Definitely interested. How about a Stygian Slayer for that Rogue slot?

So a fighter class and a arcane class? Is Hybrid classes okay, I'm thinking bloodrager.

I am back to a position where I can rejoin some pbps, so Samuel is available again, though I would need to level him.

So, here's the concept for a Human (Keleshite) Slayer (Stygian Slayer). Kid from the streets of Katapesh. Fell in with the Unseen Hand and then became disillusioned with it when they never seemed to affect any real change. Ducked out of Katapesh to avoid retribution and drifted west to Kelmarane.

Mechanically, he can fill the rogue role and an archer role. He can handle mundane traps now and would plan to pick up trapfinding as a 6th level slayer talent (unless its urgent now in which case I could rework a couple things). Good at the sneaky stuff for scouting purposes, including ability to use invisibility 1/day and more later. He'll be a bit better as a fighter than a usual rogue since slayers get full BAB. Decent amount of skills points and I could adjust those a little if there are any gaping holes that he doesn't help cover already.
