Akiros steps up at this time. "He is right, any bandit may challenge the leader, and the challenge must be answered, otherwise no man would follow you." He gestures towards the assembled bandits who are all in agreement. "The stag mistress or her second must answer the challenge."

As Raven accepts the challenge, Kazz takes a step back from the situation, his grey features impassive. Bow held loose at his waist with an arrow knocked.

The bandits begin clearing space on the floor for the Stag Mistress and Auchs to have their boss fight. The mood goes from quiet to boisterous as wagers begin flying fast and furious over who will win.

Auchs tries to pick up his club, but find it is too slippery to hold onto. “Tricks,” he mutters to himself. “You can’t fight with weapons if I don’t have my club,” he says, gesturing at Raven.

"Alright, let's do a boss fight!" he yells, and the bandits roar in excitement. He comes out swinging, but not surprisingly, Raven is up first in the init.

Auchs charges towards raven his club swinging. She uses her readied action to trip him, provoking an attack of opportunity. As he falls his club flails and catches raven. She takes 8 damage . He then uses his remaining action to get back up.

Round 2 raven is up again.

Wincing from the solid blow, Raven starts to second guess her decision. Hesitation kills. Recovering from her revery she quickly leaps backwards away from the giant man and her wrist daggers pop out. No AoO for Raven for him attempting to get back up?

This guy only has the one opportunity attack. Are you sure you didn't want to attack him before moving away? The no weapons argument doesn't seem to hold much weight with the crowd, who are baying for blood and making last second side bets that the stag mistress will go down without a fight.

EDIT:Wow, Raven takes a hit and goes down. The bandits are all on their feet roaring. I'll let you react to that and tell you what happens next in a few hours. Looks like everyone will be getting a chance to fight after all.

Yeah, Raven is really not built for combat...looking at it now there was only one way this was ever going to go. Aside form substituting one of our other members though I'm not really certain what else we could have done?

Welcome to the cluster party. Who here thought that this had been too easy? Most of you sat in a stairwell while Raven did all the work. Sometimes an easy win doesn't last.

Raven goes down, that brutal nail spiked club bashes her in the head.

Kazz, Dregan and Hithil all fire simultaneously on Auchs, killing him.

The other bandits roar again, drawing their weapons. "KILL THEM!" they shout.

This entire time you've been in this room, Z5. As usual the map does not do justice to the scene described within it. So I've done my best to array things as best suits us. There are only 20 bandits on the map, there are 40 in the fort total, plus a few leftenants. Akiros and Kenaniah are on your side, but you are pretty solidly outnumbered. I've put you at the back so that you have a defensible position.

I can't see the map, either.

Alexio draws his longsword and grips his shield, looking for a defensible position.

"Look for an spot to defend and get behind me. If we can minimize how many bandits can engage at once it minimizes their advantage of numbers."

Ideally, we'd find a choke point and defend that while archers and magic users cast over the top of us. Another option would be to try to grab Raven and try to get back to the tunnel. Until I see the map, I'm not sure if that is even feasible.
