By now you've been standing in the tunnel for close to an hour as kazz' eidolon scouts the fort, there's been no more noise from the other side of the wall, but it seems like the majority of the bandits are calling it a night.

The night watch is perhaps half the strength of the earlier one.

I'm just going to start doing things here again.

Following Alexio through the trapdoor, Kazz puts a hand on his shoulder, the other held up, urging him to wait, "Wait for a moment. She appears to have the helm. Our poison may have done the trick."

If possible, Ammanas will try to catch Raven's eye without being seen by the two bandits awake in the common room.

Coming around the right side of the fort you have to pass under the watchtower at Z3a, where 2 bandits currently stand watch, there are also two sleeping horses hitched under the platform of that watchtower.

Z9 is currently unoccupied.

Whispering, Hithil suggests, "Perhaps Donomi could attack the bandits in the tower and run away, making enough distraction for us to pass by unnoticed." Let me know if this is something you want to do. Donomi can probably bite one of them and run down the stairs using a strategic withdraw action.

Well there you have it Raven, Kazz' shadow buddy just walked into the stag fort common room.

So, without impediment you guys creep around the side of the fortress. You spot the guards at the tower, only they don't seem to be guarding anything, it seems someone has come out from the fort and handed them mugs of ale, which they are eager to enjoy. They toast the "Stag Mistress and then they proceed to down their drinks.

You come around to face the opening of the fort and find that more cheers and toasts to the stag mistress are spilling out form within. It doesnt take a perception roll to see that within mugs of ale are being handed out to every man there. Front and center of this large common room, which despite the late hour now sounds more like tavern common room is Raven standing there with a longsword in one hand and stag antler helm in the other.

These men are now in my employ and I am going to see to it that they make good use of their skills from now on. We are at the very edge of your charters and I should think having an ally this far south would be a boon to our endeavors, yes?"

Ammanas kept tabs on you but it seemed you had things well in hand. I'll admit to curiosity however, how might you define, "good use" of their skills?"

Raven gives Kazz her by-now-famous half smile. "These men need direction. They are used to having to take what others have earned, now they are going to earn for themselves. There is a whole land out here that the Brevish charter explained needed to be explored. Their skills will allow us to have a good set of eyes and ears down here as well as muscle should we need it. Besides," she pauses to consider her words, "I'm sure Brevoy isn't the only government interested in settling down here. These men could keep those other interlopers out of our hair."

Silver hair swings as he nods his approval, looking around at the collection of men cheering and drinking, "Too true. Though their exact position as ally, vassal or simply southern fortification is yet to be determined. To that end, I think we had best return to Oleg's soon. There are letters to send, plans to be made and we have a score of other followers to deal with."

The bandits seem to be enjoying their impromptu drinks, you tell everyone is relieved to no longer be under the shadow of the Stag Lord.

Suddenly you hear a bellowing cry: “Nooooooo!”
Stumbling into the common room is this behemoth of a man. He has tears running down his face and an expression of utter sorrow. “You killed Dovan of Nisroch! And the guys upstairs say you’re boss now, so I challenge you to boss fight!” he hollers at Raven.

“Kressle can’t kill Dovan of Nisroch!” he yells. “So Auchs is going to kill Kressle!” He swings his club threateningly.

All the bandits are very quiet. They seem to be waiting to hear the answer to the challenge.

Back after a rough 2 days. Agreed, though, we should probably not just attack this guy out of the blue. If the rest of the bandits turn on us, we are still way outnumbered.

Alexio tries to form a defensive circle with the rest of his compatriots. "That was unexpected," he says to the rest of the group, "Be ready for this to get ugly."

Hithil casts grease on Auch’s club. The spell has verbal, somatic and material (butter) components so it’s obvious who did it.

I would love to see what casting a grease spell is like. What do you do with butter?

Auchs fumbles his club and grows enraged. “No tricks!” he shouts. “I said boss fight, you have to do a boss fight.” He then charges towards Hithil, bull rushing her back. He pins her against the wall with his forearm under her throat.

You words were lost on him, but you can still try to reason with him, since he has yet to actually hurt Hithil.

If on the other hand you just want to start attacking...
