Connor and Whitetalon cautiously peer into the keep's central tower. Veronica and Seres drag the unconscious Ezekial after Connor towards the open tower chamber.
The central tower is full of multi-color dancing lights that create a strange pattern of shifting shadows. This wide chamber has an impressive vaulted ceiling. Though obscured in places by earth and undergrowth, the hall’s floor is crafted of smooth stone tiles in multicolored pastel hues. The walls of the chamber are decorated with faded frescoes of sylvan life, showing scenes of beautiful elves engaged in hunting, feasting, dancing, singing, and a bewildering variety of other idyllic pursuits. To the west, a graceful, filigreed stone staircase, garlanded with flowering vines, climbs to the level above. To the east, a towering plant creeps along the wall. The plant is a mass of vines and barbs. Each of the plant's stalks ends in a set of green, toothy jaws. As you enter, the plant's four sets of jaws open and begin moving towards Connor.
Outside, Larisa and Kess note that the roc is beginning to descend.

Round 1
Larisa and Kess move to position at the opposite end of the tower with a clear line of sight of the monstrous fly trap.
Connor and Whitetalon sally forward and deliver a devastating attack to the plant - shredding much of its body.
The giant venus fly trap flails and retaliates by locking three of its jaws onto Whitetalon and one onto Connor (34 points damage to Whitetalon and 10 points damage to Connor - you are both grappled)
The quickling reappears behind Connor and jabs the cavalier with its oversized needled, but this time is unable to pierce Connor's armor. The quickling then dashes away and around the tower in a flash.
The roc begins circling above Seres, Veronica, her wolves and the peacefully sleeping Ezekial.

Seres narrowly misses with Skybolt, but diverts the roc sufficiently for Larisa to drive a shaft through the neck of the gigantic bird of prey, and for Kess to slam it in the head with a rime snowball.
The roc falls backwards and slams into the tower side - falling lifelessly to the ground.

"There is nothing for us out here, let's see what's waiting for us at the top of the tower." Larissa says, heading towards the stairs, her bow at the ready.

Larisa leads the way up the tower stairs. The stairs end in a circular room featuring wide windows draped with hanging vines that offer panoramic views of the keep’s overgrown courtyard and the forest beyond. An open circular skylight in the ceiling provides glimpses of the forest canopy overhead. The walls between the windows are carved with exquisite, delicate nature motifs highlighted in gold and silver leaf. A riot of flowers, plants, and bushes sprout from the thick loam that carpets the hall’s floor, as if one were walking in a fantastic glade elevated high above the forest floor.
At the far end of the room, a tall elvish woman with fey like features sits on a throne of mistletoe branches. The alluring woman has alabaster skin, golden hair, and emerald green eyes and wears a flowing white gown of archaic elven style, tied at the waist with a blood-red scarf. The woman is flanked on the left side by a trellis wrapped with a thorny, convulsing vine-like plant. On her right side is a plant with a thick trunk that is capped by a crown of wide leaves, whipping vines, mushrooms, and a ravenous purple maw.
The woman points an accusatory finger at you. "Bow before me mortals! Your fey overlords have arrived to cleanse this land of your corruption!"
She begins to undulate and twist in her throne.
