Evard d'Garess |

Did Evard's crit also go through? since he could easil move up and be able to attack the creature.
when the creature moves away to chase the fleeing humans, Evard makes an AoO
AoO: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

With the Centepede not seeing the dog as a valid threat the dog takes advantage of this and goes for a bite as it moves away.
Dog AOO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
If that is a hit it does 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 damage.
As for Kalima herself she attempts to shoot the creature with a blast of acid.
Acid Splash Touch Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3
On the Dog's next turn it will charge after the centipede and attempt another bite on it.

Evard d'Garess |

Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 +2 if dog or darruth can flank
for 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
I'm camping this weekend, so basically Evard is going to be attacking and then trying to hit with an AoO when the giant bug moves away

Robert Jones-DM-King Maker |

Kalima launches a blob of acid at the creatures face while Evard the dog and darruth all flank the creature slash and biting it causing it to scream in pain and lash out and attack them.

The mighty creature lashes at Evard with his teeth taking a chunk out of his arm

The Dog vanishes back to Celestia (As it only lasts 2 turns). Kalima performs a summoning to call another dog. (Which will appear next turn as it is a 1 round action). She directs the summon to appear next to the creature when it arrives.

The Summoned Dog appears and looks around. Speaking in celestial Kalima tells the dog to return to where it came as its foe has been defeated and it vanishes teleporting back home. Kalima looks to the others and says, "Well done my friends felting that hideous to be sure."
She turns a glance to the two fleeing men and says, "Greetings travelers. I am lady Kalima Raustald of Taldor, noble and adventurer in these untamed lands. Fear not for we wish you no harm and have saved your life from this beast. So tell me good travelers, what brings you so far into the wilderness on this day?"

Robert Jones-DM-King Maker |

The party start to chase the two men on foot but it seems no matter how hard they try to catch up they seem to keep pace with them
you are now 15 minutes ran about 3 miles from where you started chasing them heading back north they are still 480 ft away from you, you can still see them off in the distance, what do you want to do? keep chasing them?

Evard d'Garess |

Which direction are they going? North or south or what?
"They must be running to somewhere! They will tire eventually or reach a destination. Let us at least try to keep up a little longer"
sorry for the delay, crazy long weekend

![]() |

Kalima giving up the chase huffs and puffs and says, "My... that was quite some exercise to chase those two men. But I do agree, it is pointless to chase them. I do not think any average peasants live out in these parts. They may be just more bandits getting themselves into trouble."

Darruth |

"Yeah, also it will be awkward for for everyone if we do meet. 'Why are you chasing us?!' 'Oh we need to tell you that we killed that giant bug.' 'You chased us for that long just to tell us that?' 'Yep, by the way, are you bandits? We are hunting for them at the moment.' I don't think that go over very well."

Evard d'Garess |

Evard shruggs and comes to a halt. "You make fair points. I may be too used to the Guard, in which someone running away for no good reason suggests there is a reason worth investigating."
HP after fight : 12
"Shall we continue on our way and explore further afield?"

Robert Jones-DM-King Maker |

Lialda quiet as ever nods in agreement with the other as they all gather round to set off back on their journey she uses the gifts granted to her by the goods to heal any damage to the group
I'll say she uses it 3 times. I have messages her to see if she will still be playing. If not we may need to find another healer.
Burst heal: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 6) = 13
The party continues to head south as they eventually arrive back at their horse to find them where the left them greasing the grass. As they mount up and continue to head south the sun begins to slowly move across the sky and the darkness of night is soon apon them.
he area is a vast open plain to which you can see in all directions there is no place to really camp behind, just out in the open. Are you guys wanna camp here for the night? Or push on and look for somewhere more suitable

Robert Jones-DM-King Maker |

The party sets up camp and begins to rest ready for the night, the moon is bright and the skies clear so even without dark vision the party can see the vastness of the stolen lands with ease they each take their watch through the night
Darruth's watch
1d100 ⇒ 71
Evard's watch
1d100 ⇒ 45
Kalima's watch
1d100 ⇒ 66
The night passes without incident and the party wake to clear skies as the sun shine bright on another warm day.
Where too guy? Still south? I'll post a map up Sunday or Monday so you know where you've been and where you are exactly

Evard d'Garess |

Ah, the sun is bright and this day is beautiful! Let us pack and continue on our march south. Unless you think we should try to find from whence that monster chasing the men came from. That should be a most interesting site, no? Perhaps it guarded something. We would do well to at least know from whence such creatures come, Evard suggests.
do we want to try to get a replacement player, or two, if Lialda has left us as well as Raegun? It'd be nice to at least have a healer of some kind

![]() |

Kalima nods to Evard and says, "Indeed, this could be a clue worth following. If there is something to be found that would further our quest I have no objection to checking out the region to the south."

Darruth |

"I agree that it is odd that creature attacked them with such focus that it nearly ignored us. Finding out what cause it to attack might do us some good in the future."
I like to have a replacement healer too. Another front line attacker that can handle hits would also be great too.

Evard d'Garess |

Ick, mites. This is a good marketing point, but is it worth much more than that, you think, to have to deal with a swarm of insects? Evard asks the others. He has little knowledge of such wild things...
untrained nature: 1d20 ⇒ 15 but may have encountered something...
