The centipede squeals in pain as the dog bites into its soft under belly the creatures quickly pulls back and hisses at the dog but ignores it and moves past the dog and the party after the two men who have moves a further 90ft away the centipede moves around the party so if 40ft away from you but still 90ft away from the men

the creature seems determined to get to the two men

With the Centepede not seeing the dog as a valid threat the dog takes advantage of this and goes for a bite as it moves away.

Dog AOO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

If that is a hit it does 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 damage.

As for Kalima herself she attempts to shoot the creature with a blast of acid.

Acid Splash Touch Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3

On the Dog's next turn it will charge after the centipede and attempt another bite on it.

I'm camping this weekend, so basically Evard is going to be attacking and then trying to hit with an AoO when the giant bug moves away


Kalima launches a blob of acid at the creatures face while Evard the dog and darruth all flank the creature slash and biting it causing it to scream in pain and lash out and attack them.

The Dog vanishes back to Celestia (As it only lasts 2 turns). Kalima performs a summoning to call another dog. (Which will appear next turn as it is a 1 round action). She directs the summon to appear next to the creature when it arrives.

liadla lets out a burst of healing energy that washes over the party

As the healing energy washes over him Evard slashes at the creature again opening up another wound on its belly, darruth a bolts misses it mark smashing into the side of the Kalimas dog just as it fade from existence. Kalima chants some arcane words as a portal begins to open and another dog begins to make its way through into this realm.
The gravely injured centipede lashes out in anger again

Evard takes a swing as the creature moves away from him, and them moves up and again attacks the beast

Evard slashes the creature again as it retreats cutting deep into its side it's green blood spills everywhere as it moves toward Kalima the creatures hisses and gives out a mighty scream as it open it's mouth it is quickly silenced as a bolt tears through the back of it's head and hit the ground behind sorcerous, Evard quickly swoops in placing his Bardiche deep in the creatures spine confirming its death.

"Oye! Gentelmen, are you well? The beast is dead, why was this monster chasing you?" Evard asks, calling out to the fleeing men, drawing the Bardiche and holding it at the ready.

The Summoned Dog appears and looks around. Speaking in celestial Kalima tells the dog to return to where it came as its foe has been defeated and it vanishes teleporting back home. Kalima looks to the others and says, "Well done my friends felting that hideous to be sure."

She turns a glance to the two fleeing men and says, "Greetings travelers. I am lady Kalima Raustald of Taldor, noble and adventurer in these untamed lands. Fear not for we wish you no harm and have saved your life from this beast. So tell me good travelers, what brings you so far into the wilderness on this day?"


The two men are off in the distance still fleeing even though the centipede is dead they're 480 feet away if you want to try catch them

Kalima follows the group as they run after the two fleeing men.


The party start to chase the two men on foot but it seems no matter how hard they try to catch up they seem to keep pace with them

you are now 15 minutes ran about 3 miles from where you started chasing them heading back north they are still 480 ft away from you, you can still see them off in the distance, what do you want to do? keep chasing them?

Kalima giving up the chase huffs and puffs and says, "My... that was quite some exercise to chase those two men. But I do agree, it is pointless to chase them. I do not think any average peasants live out in these parts. They may be just more bandits getting themselves into trouble."

I'll say she uses it 3 times. I have messages her to see if she will still be playing. If not we may need to find another healer.

The party continues to head south as they eventually arrive back at their horse to find them where the left them greasing the grass. As they mount up and continue to head south the sun begins to slowly move across the sky and the darkness of night is soon apon them.
he area is a vast open plain to which you can see in all directions there is no place to really camp behind, just out in the open. Are you guys wanna camp here for the night? Or push on and look for somewhere more suitable

The party sets up camp and begins to rest ready for the night, the moon is bright and the skies clear so even without dark vision the party can see the vastness of the stolen lands with ease they each take their watch through the night

Ah, the sun is bright and this day is beautiful! Let us pack and continue on our march south. Unless you think we should try to find from whence that monster chasing the men came from. That should be a most interesting site, no? Perhaps it guarded something. We would do well to at least know from whence such creatures come, Evard suggests.

do we want to try to get a replacement player, or two, if Lialda has left us as well as Raegun? It'd be nice to at least have a healer of some kind

"I agree that it is odd that creature attacked them with such focus that it nearly ignored us. Finding out what cause it to attack might do us some good in the future."

I like to have a replacement healer too. Another front line attacker that can handle hits would also be great too.


yeah a replacement healer would be good at least. Any of you know how I would go about that? I'll post an update when I'm at home with the book later
