Are you sure they use all their attacks?
"I can try but you have to kill those creatures we're taking to long here. Just move away and focus on those creatures." He says looking at Jon as he starts to chant.

"That could have been worse, good job everyone. Heal up and let's keep moving." He turns to Kendra. "Are you ok?"

GM-JZ |

The rear of the manse is in far more disarray than the front. Through the torn and shattered walls you see a wide boulevard that runs for half a mile from the rear of the estate toward the centre of the city.
And there, finally, you see a ragged and imposing tower that climbs up and up into the mist, flashes of red lightning briefly illuminating the crown.
Oh my god.... that's it. Kendra gasps, her now golden eyes fixing on the tower. That's where Adivion is, and where this ends one way or another.

Markus Valon |

Finally the tower, the tower they have been pushing through hell to get to. Just looking at it made him want to turn back, but something deep inside pushed him forward, there was no running away now no turning back and forgetting it. It was them or Adivion.
Markus then turns to look at Kendra as she speaks out. Wanting to take her hand and hold it to take care of her, but after everything, it just didn't seem right now. "It ends with Adivion dead. There is no other way.

Jon Moulton |

keep an eye out for that beast that dropped a house on us, it will be watching for us

Davos Bixby |

I'll rebuff when we get into the tower
Looking up at the tower, looking seemily surprised how such a building has stayed errected while the rest of the city lays in waste. "Let's hope we can get into the tower without that dragon spotting us rather not get caught out in the open, and today is a good day for tyrant killing"

Markus Valon |

You say it's a 'wide boulevard' To the tower is it just completely clear? straight to the tower? - I assume we'll have some fun with that dragon.
"I'm sorry Kendra, but what he's done isn't the plan of a sane man. He talks of breakout out from the gods, but in his wild mind, he's acting just like them. Taking the choice away from people." He takes up his holy symbol looking down at it and thinking of everything he's done and been through.
"He wants to raise everyone up but he assumes people want something grander something bigger than what they have, there is pain in this world unimaginable but we he wants no one knows what will come next. It could end everything we know." He lets out a long sigh now, he feels like he's had these thoughts over and over, and he can only expect more of it from Adivion.

GM-JZ |

It is a straight run to the tower. However, the boulevard is about 40 feet across and provides little cover aside from the odd pile of rubble and a sinkhole about halfway along.
The whole area before the tower is a wide open circle so you could pick through buildings that flank the boulevard but you are going to have to cross about 200 feet of open ground at some point

Davos Bixby |

If everyone is ready we should use the buildings for cover as much as possible making our way to the tower

Thanks Erek, if we are now invisible to the dead around here then I say we go for it, we head straight for the tower. As fast as we can

Erek Tulmoon |

Erek says. "We go for it. Straight shot to the tower."

GM-JZ |

You set out down the boulevard, keeping your eyes on the ashen sky where, though you cannot see it yet, you can hear the beating of great wings and the screeching of something otherwordly.
Will save: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35
And then, out of the mist comes the roaring, terrifying visage of the dragon. It is a vast thing of bone and rotted flesh, only it's eyes and heart seem alive - both radiating a pale blue eldritch light - the latter of which through it's exposed ribcage.
It bears down on you opening it's maw and revealing more of it's dead light.

Markus heard the plan and runs forward with the others, not feeling good about the spell holding up but they hardly had anything better and time, time was just getting away from them.
Then he hears it the beating of wings, a sound they had heard already but never truly seen what was causing it. Looking back it spots it clearly and the butterflies in his stomach start to kick up.

Caradwen would have cast Mirror Image and Invisibility on herself.

Quick question though... Hide from Undead COULD work, right?

Jon Moulton |

the dragon got a will save because it is intelligent.
So unfortunately it knows we are here :(
J I cast death ward in the last encounter, would it still be active?

Jon Moulton |

Jon races across the open ground hoping their magical wards would keep them hidden but as the huge dragon bears down upon them he sees they had no chance of escaping its notice and as the great undead wyrm speeds toward them jons blood turns to ice in his veins.
He sees death drawing near to them, they had never faced anything like this.
Turning to look at the others grim faces he draws strength from them, they had been through hell before and come out the other side , they would do it again.
we stand together, hit this bastard with everything you have. We won’t get a second chance he says and moving across to Cara he draws upon his powers and gives her what protection he can.

Then stepping to Cara he places both hands on her shoulders, speaking a small whispered prayer a large column of light descends down on them. "I Bestow the Grace of Desna! on you. Smite all that would stand in her way!" He then takes his hands away showing signs of fatigue he lets out a few long drawn out breaths.

"So really?! None o ye lads is gonna find me a way ta hit that one in tha face?!" - Morbar roars, just standing there with his Earthbreaker in hand.

Caradwen |

Caradwen's vision is momentarily clouded by images of a beautiful, clear nightsky when Markus places his hands upon her shoulders. She feels lost and overwhelmed... But then a single beautiful chord sounds, crystal clear, and the vision materializes before her, of breathtaking beauty - a multicolored swarm of butterflies surrounding and engulfing the bard, lifting her up as if in gentle arms, and enveloping the woman in the scent of flowers.
When the creatures finally dissipate, they seem to deposit her carefully in place, poised to attack the monstrosity besetting them - as the last flutter of butterfly wings is gone form her ears, she unleashes on the monster without hesitation.

Round 2 - Enemy
Cara unleashes a terrible hail of arrows at the enormous dragon. It wraps it's wings around itself like a great shield and incredibly all her arrows bounce of it's tough hide - all that is except one that lances directly through it's dark heart.
If it were living it would surely now be dead but in it's undead state it barrels on regardless.

Everyone takes 70 points of fire damage and 2 negative levels. If you succeed on a DC 24 Reflex save you take 35 points of damage and 1 negative level
