"The place is crawling with magic. I cannot find any traps on the door though - Markus?"
Erek Tulmoon
Erek smiles at Morbar. "Knock away friend." He moves to flank the door as Morbar makes ready to open the door.
Buffs: prot evil, freedom of movement, stoneskin, righteous blood, death ward

I will list all my buffs tomorrow.
I do have true seeing on, if that changes what I see.
"I don't know what to expect... But let's do it sensible." He moves over to the door and starts to check it over looking for traps and listening at the door before opening it.
GM-JZ
As the group discusses what to do next, there is sudden shimmering in the air before the doors.
Two massive but emaciated figures step out of the shimmer still dressed in ancient plate armour and wielding oversized greatswords.
Without hesitation they raise their weapons and stride toward the interlopers.

"Meh, bastards had their due" - Morbar growls - "Damn nice armor though" - he adds, looking at the breastplates - "So... Like I was sayin'... I knock?" - and finishes swinging his earthbreaker from hand to hand.
GM-JZ
Moving on
Morbar fairly boots the doors open and the crash into the frames either side of the entryway.
The bleeding corpses of angelic beings drip fresh celestial blood on the dusty floor of this courtyard, their bodies impaled on the iron-hooked walls of Gallowspire. Signs of destruction are evident among the fallen blocks and rusted weaponry here, and the black core of the tower looms cold and imposing in the structure’s center. A staircase of entwined skeletons winds upward around the inner spire’s windowless and doorless exterior.
It's like a tower within a tower

Did someone have See Invisibility cast on themselves?
Caradwen
Did someone have See Invisibility cast on themselves?
Not this time no... Caradwen is also invisible though :P
Morbar
Not sure if the others have it though :D
But, if you put it that way:
"That does it" - Morbar chuckles at the bent doors, but stops short at the horrible sight beyond - "I'll be damned.." - he looks around, stepping through the threshold.
Markus Valon
I have true seeing so yes I do.
Markus moves in and takes in the scene, the angelic beings must be a part of the large process. Adivion must need part demonic and angelic to do his work. "This is sick." He scans the room for anything else.
Religion: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (11) + 27 = 38 On the angelic beings?
Jon Moulton
The macabre sight fills Jon with revulsion as he looks warily around the courtyard.
this place is dammned Morbar, all the way to hell Jon says as he steps up next to the stout dwarf we should move quickly, the longer we hang around the more undead we attract
GM-JZ
Markus' attention is torn from the angels however, as from around the other side of the stairway steps an invisible creature.
This towering, night-black giant has demonic features, including a huge pair of ram-like horns. Its arms end in massive blades that it rubs together in glee, the ends of which still drip with the blood of angels.

As soon as Markus shouts out Erek will cast see invisibility on himself.
Markus Valon
Did I get anything on the knowledge? It's 35 if planes.
I forgot to note I have sunlight on me, as I have always cast it but I just want to make sure you know.
The room is quiet and then he spots the vile creature, it's horrid form shocking to see. "It's invisible!" Markus shouts pointing towards the large creature, as he casts a quick spell. Then dashes forward up into the air.
Waiting for knowledge check. Update - Screw it I'll cast invisibility purge.
