I passed my acrobatics and got a critical, but it missed. XD
Still, seeing as I accidentally focused on Perception instead of Acrobatics (watchful Gladiator, but not dodgeful Gladiator!), I did alright to roll around, avoid an Attack of Opportunity and deal a massively hard blow....to thin air. :p
It's a shame we're without Lou now, but I think we're a good team as we are, and without Lou (if he doesn't return with another character), we now have more incentive to work together.
@_@ trying to keep everything in head... with surprise shifts and little sleep. thanks for keeping me awake last night/tonite (no sarcasm)
and rule 1 of dm'ing... :P wasn't expecting you guys to split, nor investigate the port town. but did allow me to at least poke some of the other names in.

Something I just thought of: that thing she did to initiate combat, was it a spell? Should we have gotten a save? Actually, it happened the same round of the darkness spell (assuming that's what it is). Is there someone else in the room?

Gotcha. I've always allowed a Will save for half damage on a negative channel. Of course, the difference between 3pts and 1pt is pretty much nonexistent. :-)
And Rogar took down his first enemy! The path to redemption has begun. :-)
no worries. i come home from work, same thing :D. not that i mind, helps keep me awake at work. Can safely say I do not like that method of mapping, however.
That would probably be easier, and as I have access to Photoshop, if you wanted, I could map it out for you then just post it to you for all to see/use?
Maps are an issue for me, since I can't see them on dropbox or photobucket (curse you, Fortiguard!) but I'm willing to play if the GM helps with any spatial advice during combat.
Haha, and nah, it's a good thing. Just depends how you want to do combat etc, as I think you wanted this to be more story based than combat. :p
I'm not sure how far you've planned this story past the 4 locations listed, but if you continue onto a module, adventure path or whatever, and it consists of more combat, I'd be happy to continue. :)

Okay, just to let everybody know I will be away from any internet connection next week between Monday and Friday. So feel free to GMPC my character as you see fit and that matches my current play style.
I just hope that an angry boar doesn't enter in the bar, charging among the customers :P. To be honest, that had just happened in other PbP campaign I'm into...
In the other PbP campaing I'm playing, our group were pursuing some goblins whose hid in a cave. The casters stay behind the group, while the scout/melee crew take the lead. Due the vanguard's slow advance, the caster team had little to do... and then, a BOAR... to keep the interest in... I don't know. Not dying?
Anyway, since Ecland was so cold, I assume that no bOar is going to approach us in the middle of the town, but maybe a bEar... ;)
