Well I suspect the warrior has more carrying capacity than I do, but I can carry some of the coins. I can carry almost a full chest without going above Medium Load.

Does anyone remember what I called the shop in this town? I know I mentioned it somewhere and it seems like I mentioned a tavern or inn as well, but I can’t find those posts. You’ll need to quickly describe what you want to do, “rest, buy supplies, scribe scrolls,” that sort of thing and decide on an amount of time spent in the town before you head back to the Dungeon. It is Day one, of the whole grand Its “A” Dungeon debaclethon, so I’ll move the clock forward as soon as I know what you want to do. In the “Emporium” near the Dungeon entrance you can buy practically anything, including most magic items (but be warned, the merchant who runs the Emporium is not always honest about how many charges a wad might have, and other important details about magic items)

Is that good for everyone else? I am probably going to sell my rapiers and go with short swords, no difference in damage and I think the offhand gets better to hit, then.

I think Darmo was carrying the loot from the Grindylows, you might be at a loss on that one.

The Shady Dragon Inn charges 2 gold pieces for a night's stay, and that includes breakfast of sausage and eggs with bread, butter, jelly and coffee. Dinner is 8 silver pieces, and includes a plate of roasted duck, vegetables, assorted breads, and beer.

Jeffry's is run by a woman named Linda, and she sells just about everything (prices are as listed in the PRD), and she will buy some goods if the asking price isn't too high (if you should want to sell something to her, make a Diplomacy Check, or something similar, and tell her the price you want her to pay).

Do the rest of you want to stay the night? I still have a full complement of spells, and can keep going if that's what we'd rather do. Does the Shady Dragon offer money changing / lockboxes, or anything like that? If so, I'd rather just deposit, but needed supplies, and roll back into the dungeon.

Yes you can rent a "storage" box at The Shady Dragon 1 gp per week.

You can also exchange monies for 2% fee at Jeffry's (where they also buy gems and jewelry). You can sell to Linda, at Jeffry’s for 50% list, as long as you do not roll a 1 on a d12 with every transaction (she'll find some reason to refuse to buy even for that price, citing wear or defective materials or some other nonsense).
