Something just occurred to me. Did Captain Byrn ever give us the message to deliver?

Storyteller Shadow |

I am buried under a significant amount of work for Friday and on Friday night I will be running my table top Forgotten Realms game. Saturday I have a number of errands to run. Please DMPC me as needed until this Saturday evening. Thank you.

Blackjack and poker combined, except the goal is to get as close as possible to positive 23, negative 23, or an Idiot's Array (0,2, and 3), a literal 23. It adds a level of chance through the inclusion of a randomizer, which randomly changes the value of the cards you're holding at unpredictable intervals. There is a stabilization field you can use to lock the value of your card(s) in, but you have to reveal the card(s) to use it, which means you can't bluff about that card. Oh, and it uses a 63 card deck that includes face cards similar to what you'd see in a tarot deck. Go to Wookiepedia and search sabaac to learn more specifics.

Hmmm...now, do I approach the Senator directly, or set up a meeting through her security detail?

Jak Kato |

Slipping a note to security is probably the smartest thing. It will get brought up to the Senator, and they'll do some background on us and realize whose ship we came in. We'll use the Cantina the others are in as place to setup a meeting.

Due to certain events in my country and a general sense of nervousness, I find myself a little drained and with my focus diverted elsewhere. So, if my posting becomes a little erratic (i.e. posts may be coming as often as they should on some days and on others they may be sparse or brief), that will be the reason. Please bear with me for a few days. If my lack of posting seems to be holding up the game, please DMPC my character. Thank you.

So, Jak, do we find an alternate means of transportation or take a cab?

Jak Kato |

So, Jak, do we find an alternate means of transportation or take a cab?
Well, we do have that one cabbie on call. And we promised him more work. Time to call in the Esteemed Corda.

GM, quick question, would you allow the talents from Jedi Academy that give a spirit teacher?
Neat idea!

GM Han Shot First |

Players, it's hard to believe, but we've been playing this campaign for three months in one more week.
I would like to take the time to do another round table and get a feel for how things are going.
If you would all take a few minutes to post your thoughts to this point.
Just like last time around, consider the following:
1. How satisfied are you with the story line?
2. Are there aspects that you think should be changed?
3. How satisfied are you with the pacing?
4. Does the campaign have a "Star Wars" feel?
5. Any improvements that you would like to see?
6. Would you recommend campaigns hosted by this GM to your friends?
Thank you all, both for playing and for taking time to post in this thread when you could be posting to the game play thread.

Just like last time around, consider the following:
1. How satisfied are you with the story line? Very. Looking forward to what happens next which is always criticval in maintaining interest I think.
2. Are there aspects that you think should be changed? No. Things seem fine for now.
3. How satisfied are you with the pacing? Pacing is good. Enough time for us to develop our characters and interact before a scene moves forward.
4. Does the campaign have a "Star Wars" feel? Yes.
5. Any improvements that you would like to see? All is well.
6. Would you recommend campaigns hosted by this GM to your friends?Absolutely!

Renlo Tacksa |

1. How satisfied are you with the story line? Very much so.
2. Are there aspects that you think should be changed? Things seem fine for now.
3. How satisfied are you with the pacing? Pacing is moving along nicely.
4. Does the campaign have a "Star Wars" feel? Yes
5. Any improvements that you would like to see? Not yet.
6. Would you recommend campaigns hosted by this GM to your friends? Sure.

Moroka Janis |

1. How satisfied are you with the story line?
I like where we're going with it, and I like the possibilities that are open to us at this point.
2. Are there aspects that you think should be changed?
Hard to say, honestly. I'm sure I could think of a hundred things I would do differently, but that doesn't mean they SHOULD be changed.
3. How satisfied are you with the pacing?
Until I'm the most prolific poster at my 'once-a-day-usually-but-sometimes-every-other-day' pacing, then I can't complain.
4. Does the campaign have a "Star Wars" feel?
Yup.
5. Any improvements that you would like to see?
See number 2 for an analog; lots of things would be cool, but I want to see how this plays out as is and see what's in store. Obviously, like any player, I'll be happy to have more chances to use my strengths and fight my weaknesses (i.e. "the spotlight") but I'm in no hurry. I want a good game for everyone.
6. Would you recommend campaigns hosted by this GM to your friends?
Too soon to say for sure, but so far so good.

F. Castor |

1. How satisfied are you with the story line?
Quite satisfied indeed. I especially like the tidbits of things to come, such as the clone troopers being replaced by storm troopers and the being in the black armor hunting Jedi. I like how we are at the beginning and everything is new to our characters.
2. Are there aspects that you think should be changed?
Nothing springs to mind, at least for now.
3. How satisfied are you with the pacing?
Pacing is pretty good. We are moving along, but we are also given lulls between the more action-filled sequences to have a bit of character interaction and development.
4. Does the campaign have a "Star Wars" feel?
Indeed it does.
5. Any improvements that you would like to see?
Cannot think of something specific. We all appear to be having fun and moving along nicely.
6. Would you recommend campaigns hosted by this GM to your friends?
I think so, yes. You seem pretty enthusiastic about the game, pacing is good and you have not disappeared on us yet. :-)

Jak Kato |

1. How satisfied are you with the story line?
I'm enjoying it. I love a good bit of intrigue. And we seem to have that in spades so far. And that has led to some great character interaction.
2. Are there aspects that you think should be changed?
Nothing springs to mind for me either. I guess I wouldn't mind a fight or two, but honestly, it's hard to care about that what with all the cool interaction we got going.
3. How satisfied are you with the pacing?
The game feels very sand-boxy, which I know is super hard to do. But you've kept the ball rolling, no matter what curveballs we threw at you. So, yeah, I'm happy with it.
4. Does the campaign have a "Star Wars" feel?
Yep. Doing great there.
5. Any improvements that you would like to see?
So far so good. Just keep dangling them plot hooks, and I'm good to go. I do want to pick up a mission where we can work closer together.
6. Would you recommend campaigns hosted by this GM to your friends?
Oh, absolutely. You've been great so far.

I will be leaving later today for some much needed vacation. I will be gone for about a week give or take and the place I am going to has... well, let us call it less than stellar internet. I will try to post from my phone, but if I seem to be holding up the action and/or story, please DMPC my character.

Storyteller Shadow |

I will be away from tomorrow (Tuesday) through Saturday on vacation. Please DMPC me as necessary. Thank you.
