That's right, Saya. Although, If you spend the prestige to get something, it has to all be on one item. We couldn't, for example, buy 75 acid flasks (not that we'd want to).
Also when you built your character starting out, PFS allots you 150gp to spend before you play your first scenario. So if you have any of that left, you can still spend any of that that you have remaining, in addition to the 430 from the chronicle.

Zen-archer monk
Tengu investigator
Sylph occultist
Human oracle
Cleric of Ragathiel
Human swashbuckler
I've not got Occult Adventures but occultist don't seem to be frontliners. I suppose a Cleric of Ragathiel, built right, could be.
So, I might have to rebuild Mivvy to be a bit more frontline and drop the bard stuff.
Thoughts?

I did not know that about occultists.
I'll wait and see then. Free rebuilds only apply at level one so I don't want to wait and see for too long.

Occultists are fairly versatile. They can fill a number of roles fairly well, but with the right implements and focuses can focus in to handle a decent variety of tasks. Abjuration and Transmutation specialists tend to scale fairly well for melee combat, and can ramp their abilities to meet their specific threats decently with spells and mental focus usage. I've seen an occultist x/urban barbarian 2 and an occultist x/Fighter 2 do some terrible things, so I'm fully confident in Drea's ability to hold the line.
Also, as we have a frontliner now, I'm going continue my original plan as the toolbox caster, and I'd like to get some opinions on that.
My end goal is to go Oracle 1/Arcanist 2/Mystic Theurge 10, probably reverting back to arcanist if we progress beyond level 13, and take advantage of two spell lists, quick study, the spells and skills of summoned monsters, and a fair number of wands, scrolls, and divination and utility items to make sure that you guys are always equipped with just that one trick that would have made things that much easier for you. I'll likely stock up on buffs and utility spells, and the occasional battlefield control spell (where a save isn't super vital), but if there's anything that will be exceptionally useful to anyone in the group. I'd like to know so that I can be sure to pick it up once I start moving to expand my spell selection. I also plan on eventually getting an improved familiar so that I can have low level wand spells cast in the same round that I'm casting higher level buffs or utility spells.
I won't always have the highest level spells for someone of our level, because of the delayed progression in two slightly slower progressing classes. I won't get 2nd level spells until level 5, but I should keep fairly close to the standard arcanist curve after that. That being said, I expect to be able to throw spells around like candy. Virog will have around 25+ spell slots at level 6, and 45+ at level 10, before wands, scrolls, or spell recovery items, so don't worry about asking me to prepare spells that wouldn't go on most standard loadouts.
All of that being said, while we've got all the time in the world to think about it. What sort of stuff will you guys need/want in terms of buffs and utility spells, that you expect that your characters in specific would benefit from?

For me, dex buffs are more useful than the classic combat buffs.
This being PFS, things to help deal with swarms are good too.

Greetings all. I was picked to be the latest member for this merry adventure. Cleric of Ragathiel and Human raised by Halflings, Jordas!
Hi Jordas, just had a peak at your sheet: did you know that clerics of Ragathiel get proficiency in bastard sword?
Also drawbacks/flaws are not PFS legal, I think.
Ragathiel does not grant the travel domain Ragathiel's granted domains are here and I'm not sure how you got bloodline arcana? Also, you're entitled to a second domain.

My question for you Virog is how you intend to get level 2 casting for yourself without taking the proper number of levels? The trait that grants +2 CL will not get you effective levels of casting, and will not get you into MT any faster. How does that work?
The feat Equipment Trick (Sunrod) from the Pathfinder Society Field Guide grants you the ability to use the Like The Sun trick, which increases the spell level of all spells with the light descriptor by one, allowing several first level spells to qualify as second level spells (my plans were Dancing Lantern and Unwelcome Halo).
That then meets the requirements of casting second level spells when you take into account this developer clarification.
I will definitely acknowledge that it is not a standard method of entry. But with the spell-like ability methods of early entry for mystic theurge all closed now due to a rules change, this is the only one that remains PFS legal.

I intend to buy some noble's clothing and a masterwork rapier.
I also bought some other things: masterwork backpack, alchemists fire, adventurer's sash...I hope that's alright, I forgot to say?

The sash is a way to have 6+ extra pockets. Great for spellcasters or anyone who wants lots of little objects.
I've just worked out my encumberance and it turns out that I left my noble's outfit and sash at home...
Str 10 is not great for anyone wearing armour. Mivvy needs mithral the moment she can afford it.

Do we really have a "Huey, Duey, and Louie" trio going here with "Shaya, Drea, and Saya"?

Is it anywhere near as frustrating to read Virog's accent as it is to type it? Writing out accents phonetically is not a thing I am used to.
His manner of speech is only a slight exaggeration of my own. Just a few extra contractions, borrowing from coworkers and the like.

![]() |

Looks fine to me, I have no trouble reading it. I'm currently trying to keep one of my other characters speak in a Texan drawl, and it's waaaay harder than it sounds.

Hey there, Mivvy. I'll happily Aid Another on your Diplomacy check, but I don't think I should be the primary. (+0 to Diplomacy). Cool?

I'm getting some kind of bug that doen't allow me to post in Gameplay.
Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
sigh, it was a 17... T-T

Mivvy, you're saying that your character splashes into the water where Uori and Drea are talking and snatches away the cloak from the gillman? I just want to be clear that you recognise where you are. Unless you're using your telekinetic powers.
