You can leave me on the ground, I'm useless in such a close quarter fight. Also, I calculated my AC wrong, it was 18 (+1 Dex, +1 size), too late to retcon now.

![]() |

I'm not really sure if I've hit anyone or not.
I've had a 17 and a 22 to hit the rogue.
If both hit then that's 8+5=13 damage but I don't think any damage to the rogue has been mentioned in the thread.
Skaf rolled an 18 to hit him for 4 damage but I've no idea if that connected either.
I'm going to try a parry but, honestly, 27 is a high bar for me to hit.
Losing your main melee character mid-adventure is bad.
Having a battlefield which does not suit your lvl1 characters is hard.

It is with apologies that I say the rogue SHOULD be down. The 8 was not enough, but that additional 5 should have downed him. In conjunction with this fact, Saya may instead shoot at someone.
(EDIT: It was from when I asked you to specify "in front of", because it would've downed the rogue but not the fighter type)

Cool!
Did Skaf hit the rogue or someone else with his sickle?
His shot was between my two, so if Skaf took him down, my 22 to hit for 5 dmg would have gone to the dude with the great sword.
I'm digging for every bit of win we can get here.

Get Mivvy up, I'm inconsequential in a fight, especially one of this kind.
I bet Saya would not object to any +2 to hit that an aid another might provide.

The next ones I have planned for the lower subtier are:
6-05 (LE, SovC) Slave Ships of Absalom
6-06 Hall of the Flesh Eaters
6-08 (SovC) The Segang Expedition
6-15 (DA) The Overflow Archives
6-18 (GL, SS) From Under Ice
In no particular order. I have since we started this both run and played 6-15 The Overflow Archives, so if we'd like to switch that out for Confirmation, I'm always open to that too. Or just about anything. This is an idea, not a concrete thing.

![]() |

I've played the Segang Expedition, otherwise I am free to play all of those.
Looks good, I like the idea of staying in Absalom for the next one.

![]() |

I hadn't played any of those when we started but since then I have played/am playing them all, sorry. I really like the idea of a long campaign like this but when opportunities to play arise I generally don't turn them down.
Anyway it looks like I need to bow out at this point. Thanks for a fun game everyone! :D

From our original plan, I have still only played the following: 5-12, 5-13, 6-13, and 5-20. I have, however, run more than 3/4 of the remainder at some point. I'm still comfortable running those that I have played as need be.

I just finished (last week) From Under Ice (my 1st Pathfinder Society PbP). Otherwise, I'm all good.
Character coming, if y'all will still have me.

Any arguments with switching to Confirmation? It sounds flavorfully like it would follow this well, provided no one has played it on this character. I may also expand to add a new person to replace Skaf if he's out.
Sounds good.

Hmmm....I haven't heard anything from the group (or the GM) about if you'd be OK with my occultist....if you're interested, let me know, please. No worries if you're not.

Glad to know you are feeling better. Sinus infections are brutal!

My PFS number is in my signature now.
We've got a member of our household who gets sinus infections almost every year due to another issue. They deal with a lot of the symptoms with hot teas with honey and lemon in them. Both for drinking and to inhale the steam.
@Mivvy: Yeah. Healthcare can get pretty bad on this side of the water. I've collected a wide array of home remedies from decades of emergencies with no access to real medical care. I can even do stitches now, although they're not always going to look pretty after they heal. My situation is somewhat better now, but I know many where that sort of thing is still normal.
Also, so you're aware, before we start the next scenario. I will go ahead and state that I am spending my first two prestige to obtain a wand of cure light wounds, and I am also buying an additional alchemist's fire and the partially charged wand of cause fear off of our chronicle sheet.

Ouch, infections are not nice. Get well soon.
Shaya should be #221226-1
And now to find out how to buy things in PFS...

![]() |

Ah , Crap.
Just realized I didn't make Saya an actual PAthfinder Character here on the boards....wonder if I can have the admins convert her for me?
New to PFS, so the Chronicle is a record of what we as PFS characters have accomplished?

The chronicle sheet serves a couple of purposes. It is your official record of having played the scenario, so that you can track how much gold, experience, and prestige/fame you have.
All items found in the scenario are given to the society at the end of the scenario, and you receive approximately half of their worth at the end, represented by the value of the chronicle sheet. You can then spend this item to buy items that you need, based on their availability. The Roleplaying guild guide has a list of items that are always available (which includes all mundane and alchemical items, +1 armor and weapons, +2 stat belts and headbands, and most special materials that aren't dragonhide). Everything else you will need to be famous enough to buy.
Your fame is equal to the total of all the prestige you have ever earned. You can spend prestige to purchase objects, spellcasting, body recovery, non-combat followers, etc., but this does not reduce your total fame. There is a chart in the Roleplaying Guild Guide which tells you how much fame you need to be able to buy items of a certain cost. It more or less amounts to don't pool all of your gold into a single item, but when in doubt, there is a chart.
2 prestige will buy you any 1 item costing up to 750 gp. So Saya, you could spend yours now to get a masterwork darkwood composite longbow, or a wand of cure light wounds, or a wand of mage armor, or you could save it towards paying for a potential raise dead (in that hopefully unlikely case: 16 Prestige for the raise, 2 for each restoration, and 5 for body recovery)
As for purchasing items. All of the gold we get is what we have on the chronicle sheet. And we all get the same amount (not split up or divided, just handed out to us) In PFS all items are purchased at full price from the society (stingy punks). For in person games, there are specific sheets that we're supposed to track our inventory on, but I tend to use spreadsheets to track encumbrance, purchases over time, and how much of a given resource I still have. Mostly because they let me know when my math is wrong.
I recommend at least skimming the Roleplaying Guild Guide because it's a free download, and it's language is cleaner than mine is.

I also forgot to mention. Wands are always purchased fully charged, unless they show up on a chronicle sheet. So those partially charged wands can be a real steal. Same with wands and scrolls with odd caster levels.
The chronicle sheets also can add items to the list of what you're allowed to buy, expanding the list from the normal Additional Resources.
Which is nice for us, but incredibly important for characters playing in the core mode of the PFS, who can only use the core rulebook, and things on the chronicles.

No problem.
I run a lot of PFS games locally, so if any of you guys aren't sure on something, odds are good that I've already been asked that question a few times before.

EDIT: Also, I don't think I have everyone's PFS ID's. So I can't report yet. Please submit those either here or in PM, as you'd prefer.

And thanks for the assist Virog :)

So , my reading of the chronicle tell me we have : +1 XP, +2 Prestige and 430gp to potentially spend ?
So we can spend the 2 Presige on something worth upto 750gp and buy some things including the items in the list on the chronicle up to 430gp?
