Grung leads you to a titanic tree...and hangs back away from the clearing.....
muttering "Bad magic...."
The dense trees and thick brush of the forest give way, parting seemingly in respect for the titanic darkwood tree that dominates this clearing. Several times taller than a temple minaret, in one direction the obviously ancient tree reaches into the sky with branches like a giant’s arms, while in the other it plumbs theearth with roots thicker than a man’s waist.
Its limbs broad and strong, its bark thick andso richly colored as to almost be black, and its leaves the size of bucklers, the giant thing is less a tree and more a cathedral of boughs and branches.
The clearing is roughly ovular, 180 feet from north to south and 110 feet from west to east. The elder darkwood has a trunk 30 feet in diameter, with low, easy to climb branches that extend
35 feet from the trunk in every direction.
Actions please.

Tatzlwyrm
Drops it’s head and arms out of the tree attempting to wrap you in it’s coils and pull you into the tree. The coils wrap around you the arms grab for you and the teeth in the gaping maw draw near your face.
You have one chance to slip free……CMD or escape artist check please....Darrid

Titania Evangeline Snow-fell |

Looks like my other game will be lively from this mini-RP tavern. but that won't stop the merged game that comes a little later.

Darrid Longson |

At the last minute Darrid sees the beast slithering out of the tree and tries desperately to get out of the way as he feels the tail slowly wrapping around him.
CMB to escape grapple: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18. Hopefully that is enough!
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
As part of my War(Tactics) domain I grant one person the ability to roll initiative twice and take the best one, the default as I have mentioned before is Titania so she can roll again. If at some point I choose to have someone else be the target I will let you know.

Hanathan |

Seeing the beast attacked Hanathan thinks to himself Well, there goes making it friendly. He sighs and moves a bit closer and lets loose a jet of fire.
Attack:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Damage:1d4 ⇒ 3

Dale Anders |

Dale saw the cleric and the beast exchange bloody blows, and reacted quickly. Wordlessly advancing with a grim look on his face, he raised his blades into an attack stance, his mind going back to harder and darker times.
Trying to flank without taking an AoO, if thats possible. Will roll the sneak attack damage, just don't count it if its not possible without an AoO. You can only use second weapon in full attack, right? Katana slice!
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Hanathan |

Hanthan moves a bit back and calls upon his arcane power and points at the beast Fall! He commands
If he fails , The target falls to the ground and remains prone until its next turn{ that be two rounds with leanthy].

KenderKin |
Hannathan magically assaults the creatures mind....
Will save
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
The creature looks unsteady for a second and even drops a bit from the tree before re-securing itself...
It gives Hannathan an evil glare from it's wide eyes as noxious green gas seeps out of its mouth!
Sneak attack damage added..
"Darrid is up!

Darrid Longson |

I see only 6 points of damage hitting me unless I am missing something?
Darrid winds up with his sword and takes a mighty swing again calling forth the name of Gorum as he does so.
[Greatword Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9, Damage(Ferocious Strike): 2d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6, 2) + 4 + 1 = 13
I give up. I haven't hit a single thing this week in all my games.

lastspartacus |
Is it my turn now? Sleep addled but just ignore me if it isnt :)
Dale redoubled his efforts, realizing he was facing a tougher opponent than he though, with his blades failing to down it immediately.
He bent into his complete attack routine, sure that this maneuver would finish the beast.

1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
1d6 ⇒ 1
wakizashi
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
1d6 ⇒ 2
His eyes widened as the best deftly dodged his weak attacks, even in a prime position. He suddenly felt ashamed. He had gotten rusty, allowed his time in exile to ruin his perfect form.

Darrid Longson |

Not sure if everyone uses hero points in games....
But this might be one of those cases if anyone wants to spend a hero point to re-roll the attacks that missed feel free to do so!
I will take you up on that! Wasn't sure if we were using them.
Greatsword Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22, Damage=13 (from above)Confirm Critical: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5, Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 = 10
Okay so maybe not a confirmation but I got 1 good roll!

KenderKin |
Verm on it's turn and on cue with the assistance of Darrid falls lifelessly from the tree......
It's death rattle produces a bellows of green gas covers the area...
Everyone within melee make two fortitude saves DC 12
Tatzlwyrm poison: Breath—inhaled; save Fort DC 12; frequency 1/ round for 2 rounds; effect 1d2 Con damage; cure 1 save. The save DC is Constitution-based.

Darrid Longson |

1st Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
2nd Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Holy crap! I made both of them! Maybe the roller doesn't hate me all the time!
Darrid's blade digs deeply into the beast and it falls from the tree, a strange greenish mist emitting from it as it dies. Darrid manages to hold his breath and run out of the immediate area as the gas slowly dissipates.
