Titania follows Faunra to help the fox.
Darrid approaches the trapped fox. "Well isn't that cute, lets go rescue the poor little fox," he says with some thick sarcasm in his voice.
Titania goes to pry the trap open, carefully, to release the fox while whispering "I'll be all right, I'll be all right" to the fox.
Looking at the trapped fox and then up to the guy asleep in the tree. "Do what you will with the fox but it looks like we have rudely interrupted someone's workday. Looks like a trapper catching prey, the wounded fox may have been being used at bait to attract something larger. How about we wake this fellow up and find out what his story is?" Darrid starts heading over to the tree, looking up at the man trying to evaluate if his thoughts make sense or if there may have been more hostile intentions.
Faunra sighs as she watches Darrid try to wake the humanoid up. Don't wake that thing up I worked hard putting it to sleep...no man hunts from that high up in a tree...at least not one thats right in the head. As Darrid gets attacked by the crows she chuckles a little to herself and then moves to help him.
Titania equips her shield and long sword, and runs, with her shield raised up, towards Darrid to help him.
Darrid gets a face and head full of crow, their talons leaving some nasty gashes across his face and neck. Drawing his greatsword he attempts to make sure they have scratched their last prey. "Ouch you little flying bastards, this is why I prefer to stick to the streets of the city!"

Looks back at the group
"Lets be ready, if he decides to attack, in response to us."
Looks forward again.
Hanthan seems to have fallen behind the others and arrives intime to watch almost amusingly as Darrid swings that great pointy stick of his at small birds.
Pointing at the fox he asks "Did someone leave us dinner?"
"So what, do we do with Sleeping Beauty?"
"what is it? A swift blow to the neck with a sharp blade normally works well I have been told" Hanathan says looking at the sleeping form.
"Something tells me he isn't just an innocent hunter. I can't say I disagree with your take on the situation Hanathan, their kind has never been the gentle and peaceful type."
"Well, If he is a poacher, we either take him with us (tide up), tie him to a tree and let nature judge him or execute him. Mind you I would prefer him being lawfully tried in court."
After listening to Titania Darrid actually starts to laugh. "Perhaps you would like to hug the tree first? There was the poor little fox you had to rescue and now you want to give a hobgoblin a lawful trial? How about we rip him out of the tree and then get him to tell us about his friends that are going to be around here somewhere? If he doesn't want to cooperate with us then there is always the lawful court of Gorum's blade."
"Since we a have limited time, we have to decide quickly. I said I would prefer a trial, but because the limited time we have, I think we'll have to be the judge, jury and executioner. I also think this maybe a lone wolf type poacher, relying only on himself then others."
Darrid moves into position and says "Ready your blades people, here he comes." He reaches up, grabs the leg of the sleepy hobgoblin and gives him a good tug, pulling him to the ground.
As Darrid pulls him roughly to the ground and hears Grung's plea he stands over top of him menacingly and says "Tell us where the rest of your clan is and we might just let you live."
"Question, Were you or were you not poaching the wildlife here?"
Darrid looks down at him and his obvious deformities. "Oh the gods you are one ugly thing, I can see why you are hunting alone. Just a guess but the clan probably doesn't exactly like you much, kicked you out?". Darrid lets go of him and steps back. "We won't hurt you anymore as long as you don't try and hurt us. Perhaps you could even help us out a bit."
Titania calmly speaks"If you wanted Dog-volf, you could have used dead bait instead of live bait that was being distressed. And since that was your meal ticket, here's a ration." she takes out a trail ration and gives it to Grung. "There are other ways of attracting volf you know."
if no one replies to your call what do you want to do?
Ideas from my mind;
1) Continue as is and hope people join later.
2) Characters become Gestalt characters.
3) Merge with my game.

I do know that there are trap designs that don't use bait or that prevent bait from being nabbed and stolen."
We are at different locations, in the same module, I could have our group run into this one tomorrow as you approach the lake shore.
I quickly checked the profiles of the players who dropped, most had very few posts on each alias, except one. the others who were voted off had more aliases and RP posts.
A reason for the merger (or transfer) of characters could be due to a dimensional shift from an artifact below in the monastery.
