Actually, not doing the math for -all- of them, but just comparing the blue to the goblin... they're roughly equal. Same amount of 'skilled'. Less from a raw number perspective, cheaper stat buy-in, offset for a static bonus feat, blues don't have to take survival for food(and honestly, at dc10, most others don't, either. So this is just flavor with a cost.), and in exchange take a penalty to deal with nongoblins. I'd totally put Blues between 9 and 11 RP. That's not speaking to any of the others, though.

I present: Makos (Google doc sheet for now, will create a full profile if selected)
Half Orc: Kineticist 7 (Aether) + Witch 6 (Scarred Witch Doctor, Healing Patron); Alchemist 1 (Internal Alchemist, Vivisectionist). Mythic 3 (Archmage)
Makos is an example of what happens when magic fully infuses a mortal. Some spellcasters, such as sorcerers, trace their power to an ancient lineage. Makos has found a direct link to the source of magic, but is unsure of why or how. The magic speaks to him, compels him, and eats away at him, but does not control him. He refuses to let the chaotic nature of magic tear him from his desire to help those in need. His magic shows itself in the form of magical scarification tattoos that cover nearly 100% of his body. (Think Nightcrawler from X-Men mixed with the writing from current marvel movies)
Mechanically he is primarily a telekineticist. He uses his power to mend wounds, throw objects and people, and even launch himself into the air. Combat role is healer/debuffer/ranged nuker. Also, he is a mid-line combatant with high HP and decent AC.

Other things to consider: the Elan's two defensive abilities are strictly not as good as DR except on rare occasions. There is both a cost (offset by high power point classes) and an opportunity cost (eats swift actions). At best, you can soak two attacks in a round with it, and the price is prohibitive in that most classes can psionically heal at a rate of three per point -or better-.
That being said, when you get crit by a scythe, it's your best friend... but the second attack coming in behind that? Good luck. Meanwhile, Dr 5/? will soak 2.5 power points of damage on every attack that isn't an energy attack.
Also. Psychic warrior and magus isn't a very good comparison. Warrior is a half-manifester that -effectively- has a full BAB depending on your path chosen. (Full BAB for feats, and a bonus at third level and every four, based on your attack type. So -1, -1, even, even, -1, -1...) Even crazier, the way it's written makes warrior even stronger for gestalt, because of the way their BAB is derived. They aren't int based, but -do- get more base skills. Same HD. No wil save... but they're wisdom based. Full armor benefits from level one. Finally, there's no concentration check necessary, as manifesting is just part of the action for the psiwarrior. Being able to cast 120+ first level spells a day (or 10 sixth) without including your bonus mod isn't anything to sneeze at, either.
Yeah, I feel like warrior seriously holds its own and -May- be stronger.

So all firearms are at full price, advanced firearms being very rare.
I have a few questions about the firearm ammunition :
- Can the gunslinger craft his own ammunition following the gunsmithing rules [bullets, blackpowder, pellets at 1/10 of the listed price and alchemical cartridges at 1/2 of the listed price] or does he have to buy the ammo at full retail price.
- Can one make paper cartridges with bullets of different materials like silver, cold iron or adamantine? If so, at what price?I also have some general questions, which have been asked before, but didn't think they got answered yet :
- HP, how do we do it? Full at lvl 1, Hit Die/2 +1 at every other lvl?
- Is there anymore information other than the story is going to be set in Golarion?
Reposting the question as it may have been overlooked.

Oops, sorry about that.
1. Yep2. Half market price
3. Max all the way (it may seem overpowered, but your main enemies will have this and more)
4. So far, you'll start in Oppara. For your various reasons you are investigating a slaughter that took place at the Gilded Crossroads Inn.

got a race write up, it's 20 RP of the 21 allowed.
Race: Mutant
Advanced (4 RP)
Prerequisites: Advanced or monstrous power level.
Modifiers: Pick either mental or physical ability scores. Members of this race gain a +2 bonus to all of those scores, a +4 bonus to one score of the other type
Fast Healing (6 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Members of this race regain 1 hit point each round. Except for where noted here, fast healing is just like natural healing. Fast healing does not restore hit points lost from starvation, thirst, or suffocation, nor does it allow a creature to regrow lost body parts. Fast healing continues to function (even at negative hit points) until a member of this race dies, at which point the effects of fast healing immediately end.
Special: This trait can be taken multiple times. Each time fast healing is taken, its cost increases by 1 RP
Fast (1 RP)
Prerequisites: Normal speed.
Benefit: Members of this race gain a +10 foot bonus to their base speed.
Special: This trait can be taken more than once, but each time it is, the cost increases by 1 RP. Its effects stack.
Flight (4 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Members of this race have a fly speed of 30 feet with clumsy maneuverability.
Special: This trait can be taken more than once. For each additional 2 RP spent, the race's fly speed increases by +10 feet, and the maneuverability improves by one step.
Focused Study (4 RP)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: At 1st, 8th, and 16th level, members of this race gain Skill Focus in a skill of their choice as a bonus feat.
and yes PM inbound.

OK, I wanted to build a teleporter who can use Dimension Door at will.
The problem is that while The Race Builder rules allow for it, it would be limited use (max. 3/day). At-will SLAs are only up to 2nd level spells.
There are 2 Ways to get around this; bend the rules to allow high level at-will SLA's, or create a lower level ability that functions similarly (such as the shift power from the Wizards Teleportation school in the APG).
I would be happy with either, though the Shift power seems to involve the least breaking of the rules (we would have to agree on a level equivalent for this power).
Would this be allowed?

Long Step sounds cool...I can feel my creative juices flowing, half Human, Half fey; Born of of a union between a First World power and a Human slave and smuggled to Golarion to avoid the inevitable paternal wrath (perhaps arranged by a rival?).
Where can I find that? I can't see it in Race builder section.

look at the arcanist for at will teleportation effects: dimension slide is awesome, and you can build into (of all things) horizon walker to get the ability to dimension door a number of times/day equal to 3+wis mod. with the school savant archetype, you could get the teleportation subschool of wizard. (which in the end results in a lot of teleportation). depending on how saucy you feel, you could throw in shadowdancer as they get the ability to jump through shadows too.

Do you actually have a setting?
Here's one to look at.
https://www.facebook.com/notes/clinton-boomer/marvel-pathfinders-the-age-of -strange/10150245209058509
Empire of M,
Holdings of Emperor Erik Magnus the Red
- sits upon his iron throne, dead but dreaming -
It is said that no blade of steel or gun forged by man can be brought into the throne-room of Magnus, lest it turn against it's wielder, and that none wearing armor can survive against the dead stare of the Red Emperor.

Sure, that's why I want to get the ability, so I can start down the Dimensional Agility Feat chain.
@Vrog Skyweaver, I looked at Dimensional Slide, and if forced I might go back to it, but it is not free, it costs 1 point from the arcane reservoir. While I would have a max of 10 points (and start each day with 6), it would not be the only thing I would want to use my arcane reservoir on, severely limiting my options. The school savant option is a good one though, I might look into that, but I am beginning to warm to long step, so I'll look into that first.

Okay, I've finally figured it:
At-will SLA's are up to 3rd level, not 2nd as I thought. Thankfully, Summoners get Dimension Door as a 3rd level spell...
Flexible Stat array (+2CHA, +2Dex) 2RP
Dimension Door at will 6RP
Spell Resistance (6+Level) 2RP
Illusion Resistance 1RP
Fey Damage Resistance 5/Cold Iron 3RP
Felexible Bonus Feat 4RP
Stalker 1RP
Total = 21RP
Added to that, he will be Sorceror (Fey-bloodline)//Swashbuckler with the Trickster Mythic path (Dual pathed into Archmage)

Wade looks at Cornelius and says in his best "talking to a baby" voice "Oh, does the wittle dwagon want some cake." he then turns to a side and starts to tap the air Hey, does anyone out there have some cake? We have a dragon who wants cake. Who can help me?... Oh you do... no don't get up I'll come get it." He then vanishes only to return a few seconds later holding a full slice of cake. Handing it to Cornelius he changes his tone back to "talking to a baby" "There you go wittle guy, now don't eat it to fast or you might get a wittle tummy ouchy."
Lord Cornelius Zenareen |
Thinks "This ones mind has gone bye bye, But! he has cake. lets humour the simpleton"
In his best little dragon Disney voice he says.
"Why thank you Mr Man sir, your wery kind"
Do's a little skip jump and wags its tail.
Then uses hard hand, detect poison
after that "Chomp" 'Chomp"
the slice lasts about 15 milliseconds.

you can also user spells to power your dimensional slide. it's 5' of a move action for you, and unlike dimension door, you can continue doing stuff afterwards.
That might make it worthwhile to swap. Currently, as I haven't got a quickened version of Dimension Door, I can't do anything much afterwards even with Dimensional Agility.
The main problem is that I was not planning an INT-based Character. The Fey background makes Fey Bloodline Sorceror a no-brainer and that makes a Charisma based character.
I might have another look at Long Step, if it's closer to what I conceptualise, I might adjust my race (drop Spell resistance maybe?). Failing that I will have to rethink the character and origins to an INT based character, perhaps via inspired blade archetype.

You could use the 8 rp ability that works as a move action
Or you could go adamant entertainment's warlock to snag the swift action wizard teleportation sub school ability at will, though as this class is third party and has not yet been approved you might not be able to use it.
In other news Sean "Marrow" Rushman, is almost done, just need to choose the abilities from ageis, well that and equipment, but I'll leave that till after character selections, Sean doesn't really need much in the way of equipment.

It's not completely true that it gets you any feat you want.
Static Bonus Feat (2 RP): Prerequisites: None; Benefit: Choose one feat with no prerequisites. All members of this race gain this feat as a bonus feat at 1st level.
So it has to be a feat without prerequisites, so it depends on which feat he was planning on taking with the flexible bonus feat :)
Gavmania |
@Gavmania: You chose 'flexible' bonus feat, rather than static bonus feat. If you're going for cheese, rather than making a race that others would play, Static gets you any single feat you want, for 2 RP rather than 4.
I mainly picked it as a nod to his human heritage. I would be using it to pick up Weapn Focus (Scimitar), so I could change it to a static bonus feat, but it does start to smell cheesy.
I'm not making this character for optimisation (I'd probably go Ninja and get the whole Dimensional Agility Feat chain if I were), so if I can avoid cheese and still get what I want, I'll do that.

As I stated in my last post, you can't change it to a static bonus feat as Weapon Focus has prerequisites, which is not allowed for the static bonus feat.
