I’m assuming the moss is the two green balls over against what appears to be the exterior wall
Maybe the moss can help us find who we are looking for.
As the door opens and Kunala sees another hallway and more doors he stops to think for a moment. Pausing he decides to attempt to use the moss to their advantage, turning back into the room, walking over to where he believes the central mass of moss is, he asks in his accented lisp.
”Do you mind if we call you Mr. Moss, that appears to be what your physical body is composed of. Let me introduce myself, I am Kunala, at your service. My physical body is composed of skin and bones, muscle and sinew, blood and bowels. My body and awareness is limited to what I see and hear, sense and smell, taste and touch. Are you limited in such a fashion or does you consciousness touch other places, here, outside of this room?”
Kunala, basically, wants to know if the moss can see into other rooms. While Kunala is making small talk let’s see if we can improve the disposition of the moss toward the party.
diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 well that was a waste

Kunala |
I wonder if the wizard Baine has been this way.
Kunala continues talking to the sentient fungus,
"Mr. Moss, we are here looking for an individual named councilman Baine. He is important to our community and he came to this place. We were sent to bring him back, has he been this way? If you don't know the answer can you tell us what left this blood path through you room?"

Kunala |
"Mr. Moss, we are here looking for an individual named councilman Baine. He is important to our community and he came to this place. We were sent to bring him back..."
greedy little moss I told him four things he told me two
thinking for a moment Kunala, in his accented lisp, adds to what Gustav said,
"As my friend Gustav has pointed out you are from here, we four are not, as a matter of fact we four are all from different places. I for example was sent here from a place called "Cheliax" which is ruled by nobility who worship a demon instead of a god. Out of curiosity would you like me to place you in my pack and carry you along with us? So, you can experience what we do?"
I don't know if that is possible, but if the moss is on something that is removable, and it wants to go along, Kunala will put it in his pack

Kunala |
The black card opens the door. Happens if you use a cell phone.
A long table with various unusual stones and dirt samples
heaped on it sits along the southern wall of this room, while to
the north a line of metal desks with glowing panels and buttons
are placed next to a large humming device. The heart of this
device seems to be some sort of flickering sphere of reddishbrown
mud or dirt. Dust covers much of this room, save for a
strangely clean swath between the doors, which leads to the
strange humming device.
is the fungus on the "sphere of reddishbrown mud or dirt"? Or else where? Again sorry about missing this!

Kunala |
this is either a really good idea or a really bad idea
Kunala removes his pack and making room in it carefully picks up the reddishbrown mud that is Mr. Moss and carefully puts him in the pack, closing the flap but not sealing it tight he continues talking in his accented lisp.
"Here we go Mr. Moss, I'm going to pick you up and place you in the back pack, if it doesn't feel right shout out ok"
after he places the back pack on and gathers his pistol and shield, he turns to his team mates and continuing down the hall he adds.
Ok, I believe Mr. Moss and I are ready to proceed. speaking of which, Mr. Moss, there are doors in front of us and to our left and an opening to our right, which way did you say Councilman Baine was and what is with him?"
I realize that's two separate actions, if something goes wrong with putting the moss in the ruck sack please change it, again sorry about missing the room description

Elasbeth Evergreen |

Not understanding how the moss can talk, or if it should be entirely trusted, Elasbeth keeps a bit of distance between her and Kunala, I hope we don't regret this.

Gin Kyomaru |

Gin nods to Elasbeth as to reassure her that everything would be relatively fine. He moves up near Kunala but keeps his eyes on the Moss and the door in front of them.

Kunala |
in MW backpack: bedroll, flint and steel, mess kit, rope, torches (10), trail rations (5 days),waterskin, small treasure chest in backpack: with powder, shot, gunslingers kit. Normal stuff, bought the chest for transporting firearm and its supplies in the water, put the pistol in there also when we swim. I didn't ask Moss, if he would be more comfortable I could put him in the chest by himself, didn't ask. I assumed I put him near the mouth, on top of the bedroll, for comfort sake. Have fun with it :)
did moss say which direction the councilman is?

Kunala |
just double checking
turning the direction that Moss indicated Kunala points that direction so the team knows just in case they did not hear it. Not wanting to be too loud he whispers to his passenger in his accented lisp.
Well to start with what I have placed you in is called a backpack or a haversack. It is made to comfortably carry gear in. I placed you on top of my bedroll its two pieces of large material that I sleep between to stay warm. I need to stop talking for a moment so I can check the door.
with that Kunala checks the double doors for traps and tries to open it with the cards nodding to the team as it opens
take 20 on perception for searching for traps, If I understand right the way we need to go is east.

Kunala |
I'm at a loss here folks, east or south?
that's a little scary.
Kunala stops what he is doing and says to the team in his accented lisp
"Hang on a minute, please"
Kunala takes off his back pack, and setting it down opens it up
is everything the same, or is scary stuff happening?
and reaches down beside the moss pulling up two days rations and placing them beside the moss on the blanket nearest the mouth of the rucksack.
"This is all organic non-sentient items. These are raisins, a dried fruit, and these are walnuts, the meat from the seed of a walnut tree. This is goat cheese made from the milk of goats, this is bread make from baked ground wheat and finally this is beef jerky. All of this is about enough food to sustain me for two days. Eat what you like and eat what you can. It will give us an idea of what kind and how much food you will need"
I hope this is not a terrible idea
loosly closing his pack and putting it back, on Kunala turns to the team shrugging his shoulders an mouthing an 'i'm sorry' he addresses them
"which way my friends?"

A row of beds sits along the southern wall of this well-lit room.
Glowing screens and metal desks sit on the opposite walls,
and splatters of blood adorn the floor and several of the beds.
To the east, a large metal device that is the size of a large bed
hums softly. As soon as you open the door two robots turn around.
IniciativeRobot1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
IniciativeRobot2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Kunala |
crap more metal things
seeing the two robots Kunala calls out in his accented lisp
"we've got more metal guy here, be careful!"
init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
the perception role to see if the wizard's is in the room and if we have seen either of these types of robots before

Elasbeth Evergreen |

Following along, Elasbeth is delighted by more glowing screens, but becomes very concerned at the appearance of more robots to deal with.
Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Perception have we fought the before: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Knowledge (engineering) can I determine what kind they are and their purpose: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Elasbeth Evergreen |

But it's so much fun gawking at Gin, he's handsome and has lots of muscles, and he feeds me all the time. I will have to reward him for all that sometime.

Helikon |

@Elasbeth.
It is very hard to guess, but you think the white one is a servitor, maybe in the technical or medical field. You think it looks extremly clean.
The brown one looks MUCH more dangerous. Its circular claw indicates a gathering function. It flies somehow and it focuses quite intently on Kunala.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d8 ⇒ 6 Kunala feels his teeth ratter and the shock makes him loose 6 HP(temp) (I think a 11 hits you FF touch?)

Kunala |
yeah, didn't even know there was such a thing as FF touch, so fatigued, -2 str, -2 dex, AC 19, 10 temp. HP, here we go again, how did Gin put it "getting punted by robots" I'm assuming that was a ranged attack, if it was melee it gets an AoO
Kunala, not being able to avoid the attack from the brown robot, tries to recover from the shocking attack, feeling not quite himself, he levels the pistol at the more dangerous looking robot and squeezing the trigger; there is a loud bang, a spark and smoke.
pistol attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 for damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4
holstering the pistol as the smoke clears he begins to draw his hammer.
maybe he should have just thrown the pistol at the robot

Gin Kyomaru |

Seeing Kunala become pummeled by the robots once more, Gin's normal reserved disposition drops and a horrible power overcomes him. Electricity wells up and sparks from his form, muscles expand and his hatred of the beings burst forth!
" Kunara-san! "
Gin's blade shocks violently as he swings the massive weapon at the Robot's midsection.
Robot's Bane Blessed Powerful Jinrai: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 222d8 + 12 + 1d6 ⇒ (5, 1) + 12 + (6) = 24
The 1d6 is Electricity

Realising just how bad this is likely to get, Elasbeth draws the wand again, and then her eyes glow brightly a moment before returning to normal
