Not liking the idea, but finding the situation dire enough to do it, Elasbeth, wand in hand, steps forward and activates the wand as she reaches out to touch the thing with the golden light now on her hand.

EEP!

Together Kunala and Gustav manage to kill the undead. combat over

Seeing that the thing is dead, Elasbeth touches Gin with the light on her hands, helping to mend his wounds closed.

See above roll.

blasted thing

seeing Elasbeth heal Gin, Kunala nods his head in approval. He then kicks the undead corpse before he carefully inspects it; asking in his accented lisp

that was harder than I thought it would be. I'll check this thing, does anyone know anything about the mechanical man?

perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Please make a heal check Elasbeth

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (White Mage) 4 | HP 20/20 (0nl) | AC 12 (16), tac 12, ff 10 (14) | Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Per +2 | Technologist | Arcane Reservoir 1/6

Heal: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

You manage to stabilize and heal Gin.

Gustav wipes his brow. "That was some fierce action... Yes, I'll check the construct."

Gin was good anyway

Stabilize: 1d20 - 5 ⇒ (18) - 5 = 13

Gin would slowly rise with a blurry eyes trying to figure out what happened. He would look up to see Elasbeth and his solemn face would smile. " Ai have gone to Naraka? "

did Kunala find anything on the zombie body? curious about its weapons

Kunala smiles at the way Gin looks at Elasbeth, resisting the urge to say something bawdy. Waiting a few minutes till Gustav is done inspecting the construct, he asks

now that the interruption is over did we figure out about the cable thingy and where are we going now?

As soon as you pick up the bone shortswords they start to go brittle.... and break.

"This is a curious construction - what craftsmanship! I wonder what motivates it?" Gustav continues looking over the robot.

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (White Mage) 4 | HP 20/20 (0nl) | AC 12 (16), tac 12, ff 10 (14) | Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Per +2 | Technologist | Arcane Reservoir 1/6

With Gin now alive and relatively well, Elasbeth goes to examine the construct with Gustav.

Knowledge (engineering): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Elasbeth can not find many answers but a few scratches made like from a shortsword. After a few moments she understands the four armed attacked the robot and led it to you, as a diversion. It seems more like a housekeeper, now you can identify tools like a sweeper with a liquid tube feeding to it, smelling like soap?. She understand that this machine was not built as guard or to fight... and she has a feeling there are machines built for war... and those machines will be even harder to fight.

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

Gin sits on the ground, he was heavily wounded but no worse for wear. He watched the two examine the robot but felt nothing but disdain for it. However, Elasbeth seemed interested so it was only fair to watch and currently he wasnt going anywhere in his state.

looking at the useless weapons of the four armed creature and the destroyed automaton, Kunala says in his accented lisp

well that was a heaping pile of disappointment, do we know anymore about the two rooms or the four armed creatures or the automatons or where to go now more than we did before this little Melee?

realizing Gin was sitting on the ground Kunala, trying to keep his sense of humor, asks

Gin, you look a little pale, well you always look a little pale, I guess I mean you look a little peeked, are you Ok?

Takes stock of his healing resources and reports, "I've little of Brigh's power left in me today. The temple sent this wand with me, though, so I'm happy to utilize it for our cause."

CLW Wand on Gin: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
CLW Wand on Gin: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
CLW Wand on Gin: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
CLW Wand on Gin: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

After using it four times, he nods and says, "You should feel better after a good rest. I'm sure we could all stand to hole up here and recover."

Turning to the others...
CLW Wand on Kunala: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
CLW Wand on Elasbeth: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
...he uses the wand once on each of them. "Will that suffice for now?"

"It seems that the zombie lured that robot in here. It's basically a housekeeper and is not what to expect of a combat model. I suggest we proceed with caution." In reply to Gustav's inquiry, "Yes, that is much better."

You may not be interested in the robot Gin but you had to enjoy the view.

ahhh, young love

Kunala, watching the interaction between Elasbeth and Gins, smiles and says in his accented lisp,

Yes, let us proceed with caution,

loaded pistol and shield in hand he proceeds to the next door and checks it for traps.

take 20 on perception for finding traps

Gustav makes sure to cover Kunala with his crossbow.

why thank you Gustav, you are kind a generous soul ;)

Just checkin' your six, ace. :)

Do the others follow? Kunala does not detect any traps.

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (White Mage) 4 | HP 20/20 (0nl) | AC 12 (16), tac 12, ff 10 (14) | Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Per +2 | Technologist | Arcane Reservoir 1/6

Elasbeth prepares to follow the rest when they are ready, taking her usual place towards the back.

Kunala found also a piece a plastic with a black stripe on the dead zombie. With it you manage to open the next door. After a long corridor you reach a new room.
A large metal desk with blinking lights and strange glowing panels
sits atop a raised area on the east side of this room near a circular
table. Two couches covered with black material sit to the south a
pair of black metal pillars. Splatters of dried blood stain the floor
and walls near a pair of doors to the north, while here and there
patches of rust-red mold and fungus cling to the southern wall.
The room itself is brightly lit by glowing panels on the ceiling.

what do you know, I must be getting the hang of this the plas-tick card worked for me

Kunala carefully opens the doors and heads down the hallway, upon entering the new room he looks around, after seeing what appears to be splatters of dried blood he proceeds more carefully, making sure not to touch anything.

My what a very interesting room, do you think the blood was a part of the original décor? seeing as how I know nothing about this technology stuff, I will check the door to the north.

perception,before seeing blood: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
perception, after seeing blood: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

with your permission Ivar will take 20 on searching the door

@Kunala you can only roll for perception once!
And you find nothing at the door.

Not finding any traps near the door Kunala shrugs his shoulders and as he attempts to open the door he says in his accented lisp

well here goes nothing

strength: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Wich door?

sorry the map wasn't up when I posted and I assumed the double doors to the north were the only ones, I didn't realize there was another door behind the desk. I meant to open the two double doors. I moved my icon over beside them :)

Gustav steps up onto the platform and checks behind the desk with his crossbow, making sure that nothing is hiding behind it.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

As much as you try to push the door nothing happens. You feel like you try to push a mountain. Then Elasbeth comes over with her card and the door opens.
Bloodstains mar the floor and walls of this hallway, while scorch
marks and smears of ash on the walls evidence some sort of
altercation having taken place in this area relatively recently.
Four tangled mounds of metal and other materials lie further up
the hall, surrounded by strangely colored stains.

Before opening the door.
Elasbeth goes to the desk and examines it, trying to see what it is for.

Kunala looking up the bloody hall, waits for his friends to inspect the room, he then asks in his accented lisp

"do we want to follow the blood trail up this hall where there appears to have been combat, or do we want to try door number two?

"One death trap or another, I suppose. Think we should check this door behind the desk first? From the scope of things it's either a small closet, or a third death trap." Gustav checks the handle on this door as well to see if it is locked.

Moved on the map.

As soon as Gustav moves closer the door opens and shows a storage room, made of many lockers.

He hops back when the door opens, but then approaches again after the moment passes. "I wonder if there's anything still in here - what a discovery that'd be!" Gustav begins checking the lockers for any contents.

The lockers have strange words but for simplicity sake we number them 1-10. Wich one do you want to open?

Gustav starts with the first locker, opening each carefully.

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (White Mage) 4 | HP 20/20 (0nl) | AC 12 (16), tac 12, ff 10 (14) | Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Per +2 | Technologist | Arcane Reservoir 1/6

What, if anything, did I glean about the desk with the lights on it.

@Elasbeth.. make a DC 20 int check

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (White Mage) 4 | HP 20/20 (0nl) | AC 12 (16), tac 12, ff 10 (14) | Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Per +2 | Technologist | Arcane Reservoir 1/6

Int check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Kunala, concerned about the obvious violence that occurred in the hall stays near the doors as he sees Elasbeth focusing on the desk area, going nearer to see if it might be something he could help with inquires in his accented lisp

"Elasbeth, dear, is there something I might be able to assist you with?"

aid another, int.: 1d20 ⇒ 7

guess not, the Neanderthal Kunala returns to the door, knuckles dragging the floor.

@ Elasbeth You can sometimes get a few images of 4armed beings and other very strange beings but the pictures are somewhat fuzzy.
@Gustav you find a heavy tube with a piece of glas on top.

Knowledge(Engineering): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

Unfort Gustav has .. NFC.. No friggin clue. It seems a hilt made of metal. The size of a handspan of a broomstick. With a button. Made of some softer material.

With no real understanding of how to work the controls on the desk, Elasbeth goes to see what Gustav is examining, "May I?"

Knowledge (engineering): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

No idea. Maybe you have to push the button.

Kunala stays near the door making sure they are not surprised, he asks the team in his accented lisp

Have we found any thing interesting? Its all a tither to me

perception:doorway: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Gustav hands it to Elasbeth. "You might have a better sense than I, but perhaps we should wait to try and activate it in a more controlled environment. Let me check these other metal cabinets to see if there is anything else."

Gustav proceeds to look through the lockers in order: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
