I will be away from computers starting shortly until some time later on Sunday. I may pop in on my phone to post, but will likely keep it simple.

Huh just thought of a neat trick to use with Telekinetic Projectile. By no means does it say you can do this, since it says the type of item doesn't change the damage or other properties, but I would definitely allow you to throw alchemical weapons using this ability.

Lets look at a Flask of Acid. Glass objects have 1 hardness and 1 hp/inch of thickness. As a result, a Vial or Flask has 1 hp. Throwing said object (it weighs less than 5 lbs) would deal 1d6 damage to the target AND the flask of acid, thus likely shattering it. In such a situation, the effective damage is 1d6 physical + 1d6 Acid.

On that note, the spell is NOT a touch attack - but if you miss the target's primary AC but exceed his Touch AC, I'd probably allow the alchemical item to hit him (dealing no physical damage) and have you roll for damage against the object itself. If it shatters, then the target still is affected by the acid (in this case).

Basically, although not RAW, its a clever enough use of resources that I'd allow it. Just a heads up for you Galen, since you use this spell (As does my Evil Investigator over in the Hell's Vengeance campaign that I'm trying to get into). Psychic Detective archetype ftw!

Oh that's a very cool way to try and use it Crusty - I hadn't thought of that in terms of trying to mix in splash weapons, and that would definitely help. The cantrip is the only one the Psychic list that can do damage, and I'm stuck until Level 3 before I can take a damaging spell. The short-range effect and ranged (standard) attack rules make it kinda tricky to use effectively, so I appreciate the option.

Gonna be updating here either before or after work later today. Hopefully before, but I can't guarantee it. Work's been tiring.

I got 3 days off starting tomorrow though, so unless they call me in for work (unlikely), I'll have plenty of time to update.

These dogs are proving to be tougher than the thugs earlier. That being said.. a quick glance at your posts and I think they might be taken out. I'll try to get a post up as soon as I can later today.

Hey everyone, I'm sorry for the lack of posting, but I failed my Fortitude save and got a bad flu. I've been completely unable to forge a coherent post. I'll be back as soon as possible! Bot me as needed in the meantime.

Absolutely! If you have the flu and a fever, creative writing at a keyboard is not going to go super well for you. Rest up and if you're not doing a lot of posting we'll just assume Varian is handsomely brooding or something :)

Galen: I've given you control of the token I used for Dancing Lights. Feel free to move it around on your turn where you want it.

Lurking while I update!

Soo.. with Ultimate Intrigue coming out this month, if anyone wants to end up retraining as a Vigilante *Cough* Darian *Cough*, I'll most definitely allow it. The class seems like it would make a PERFECT fit for this campaign.

I'll be updating soonish, after I finish up something.

I miiiiiiiiiiight, depending on what it does EXACTLY, give everyone the alter-ego ability of the Vigilante.

I think it would mesh really, really well with this campaign - most of you are also disguise-oriented, so I would probably give everyone free ranks in Diguise (and refund those who have already spent ranks in it), plus the ability assume the alter ego.

We will see though, as I don't know the specifics of the Vigilante class just yet. But allowing all of you to have a 'super-hero' alter ego for the rebellion itself would be awesome, would it not? I mean.. its not like most of you aren't already trying for something similar, if more subtle, already.

Might not be a bad idea. You guys will already have a group name (Silver Ravens), but individual ones is a good start!

I like Silvertongue as a possible Phineas name, that could fit quite well. Phineas is already kind of going to be doing the public/undercover persona split, and while I don't think I would want to actually switch him to Vigilante, the alter-ego ability would probably fit what he is doing pretty well depending on how it is implemented.

I am going to be at a wedding in Michigan this weekend, so will be driving all day Friday and Sunday. Access on Saturday may be possible, but not guaranteed; I should be able to post tomorrow, but feel free to GMPC me over the weekend if necessary to keep things moving along.

Lurking while updating. Had a rough weekend, sorry for the delay folks!

Love getting a cold and then being in bed for 12 hours with a fever. I'll try to get a post up today to move us along, but I'm still not feeling too great.

Ugh sorry again for the delays. Just found out my a~~&+%! apartment managers are upping our monthly payment by almost 25% (seriously wtf?) after our lease is up in April, so I've been trying to find a new place to move to.

Gonna see if I can get the campaign quickly updated, but again, sorry for the delays.

On top of that s@$@ I can't stop sneezing. Damn cold.

Heyas Crusty - well I'm sorry to hear that and by all means you gotta get yourself in a bit of a better place (mentally, physically) to have RP be fun and not just another chore. I do appreciate the info here in discussion, so we know the game just hasn't dropped off for unknown reasons.

I'm looking forward to really jumping back into this at good frequency with everyone when we're ready to do so. In the meantime, good luck on the apartment search...and I recommend extra chicken soup and vitamin C there!

Yeah I've been trying to at least keep in touch, as I do NOT want this campaign to fall apart. Buuut life gets in the way of having fun, so delays happen.

Yesterday around noon while out looking at houses I stopped at Burger King (10 piece nuggets for 1.49 yo) and I sounded like a heavy chain smoker, croaking so badly when ordering my food. Was kind of funny, tbh, though it did suck.

*Hugz*

Get well/better soon.

Best of luck finding good/cheaper digs.

I just want to echo the sentiment already expressed. These games are great fun, and this one in particular is a real gem, but they take a lot of time from the GM. I hope life isn't kicking your ass too hard, and look forward to hearing from you when you're in a better position to continue our campaign!

Indeed! Wishing every one all the very best.

I wish you all the best GM. Yours has been a great game so far, and the fact that everyone here appears to be willing to wait for you to solve your RL issues (myself included) clearly testifies it. Good luck!

Hey guys, still here! Sorry for the massive delays, but I've got some good news.

It appears, as I just found out today, that they're NOT raising our rent (much). This means we don't have to rush to find a new place. As a result, I'll be updating us here tomorrow after work. I just got off a very long day today else I would tonight.

To speed things up a bit to make up for the delays, I'm going to end this rather boring rat encounter and also give everyone a few bonuses to end any other encounters quickly (while in this dungeon) to get things rolling along quickly.

Again I apologize for the delays, and I hope you're all still excited about this campaign!

Hi all,

I've recently taken up my hand at GMing and am enjoying it. I'm looking to start a Beginner Box campaign for people new to PbP. If you know someone who's a relative newbie either to Pathfinder or play-by-post, please send them to the recruitment thread. Thanks!

Hey guys just wanted to chime in real fast before bed and let you all know I'm still here, work just ramped up how many hours I've been getting and I've been exhausted as a result the past week or two. I think I'm beginning to understand Darian's work stretches >.>

My next day off is in a week (I need to speak with whoever's scheduling my shift to see if they can give me more than one day off a week), so I can't say when I'll have the energy to post but I hope it'll be sooner rather than later.

All this for 5 cents over minimum wage, so it isn't even good money. Sigh

*Hugz*

Empathizing with your shift loadings and stuff.

All the very best.

It's been over a month since there was any action from Crusty in the Gameplay thread, and nearly that in this thread. As such, I'm bowing out of this game. Sad because I really enjoyed the group dynamic we had going here, but I don't feel like keeping my campaign tab filled with inactive games.

Feel free to keep in touch with me, folks, and if you happen to need a replacement player in any of your games and happen to think of me, drop me a PM and I'll see if I can come up with something interesting!

Well, that is an intriguing idea, and if the majority of the players agree then I can be counted upon to devote the time to it. I really enjoyed the foundation that we players had built here with our chosen characters...and even since it became clear that Crusty was perma-AWOL I didn't have the heart to try and go for another game - certainly not another Rebels game with Galen. I have one other PbP game that I am DM'ing, so I do have availability without overreach.

So I'm in if we can get the majority of players back to try it out as well. If not that's understandable of course.

I would be willing to carry on with a new GM. I kind of stopped checking in here a while back, which is why I haven't responded until now. I kind of took a break from PbPing when this died, but would be happy to come back if we want to pick up with a new GM.

Map!

Hi guys! Looks like I'll help to bring all these wonderful PCs and rebels back to life!

I'll read about all of you, as well as the campaign thread... it will take me a couple days before I'm ready to move you on. Hopefully, I'll be able to do it by Monday.

It appears we are now at 5 players, which is the number I usually prefer, so if Galen had not answered, I think I'd prefer for us to stay at 5 instead of recruiting one more player... What are your thoughts?

Oh, and I've never took a campaign from another GM... anyone of you know how can I do that?
