1d20+7=21 SR check.
Riese fires off 2 rays of flame at the aspect.
"The other real demon-lords are gonna laugh at you once my crew and I have vanguished this form of yours, idiot."

Riese's firebolts punch Graz'zt in the head, and the diversion caused allows Gittik to insert his scimitar into the lower left arms' axillary artery, causing a pulsing black spray and leading to morbidity.
The thing falls, and spicy incensed smoke slowly wafts up from the body as it begins to decay at an appreciable rate...

dungeonmaster heathy |

The massive head of Xipe Totec animates somewhat.
He's not flying around shooting lasers or anything, just facial movement and vomiting pea soup and whatnot.....
"Hahahahahaha!" the head chortles on and on in a voice that sounds like the maker is standing inside a giant metal tube.

Elgan Dreadwood |

Elgan-WOlf Huffs, turns, and kicks up dust onto Grazzt-izzit's swiftly decaying body. He shimmers and turns back into an elf, and gives his two summoned pals a good ear-scratching before they fade back to where they were called from.
Go team Regulators! ;) (Most of us, anyway. I was feeling pretty useless for a bit there! Azz-spects are spookies!) ;P
And Huzzah XP! :)

Gittik |

Pap had
+2 chain shirt
+2 small scimitar
+3 small kukri
Sorry to take months over this - taking my choice of Gittik's dad's stuff. I'm going to get rid of the chain shirt and the scimitar (so they go into party cash) and keep the kukri. I think I'll ditch my scimitar as well and concentrate on using kukris - the average difference in damage is 1/2 a point and I can start taking weapon feats like Improved Critical.

Altai Iscarni |

Does anyone want to keep demi-Graz'zt's weapons? If not, we will at some point sell:
* +1 Large battleaxe
* +1 Large longsword
* +2 Large wavy-bladed bastard sword (though this would look good hanging on the wall at our house)
* +2 small chainshirt
* +2 small scimitar

Altai Iscarni |

"Nah. Remember we're doing a spot of time travel. Nobody have stolen our ships - they won't arrive for Boccob knows how many thousands of years. We'll get back by climbing out the temple shaft."
"Now, I was thinking that if we exterminate the roots of the sahuagin infestation, we might save ourselves a lot of work once we, um, return to the future. I was thinking the viper tree must go, and the same is true for the sahuagin priests and their lamias."

Looks like I've got a bit of building to do then;....busy weekend, for today was Father's Day AND my wife's birthday, and I was extremely behind on everything.
I think I lost 15 pounds.Try to get it done tomorrow night and start another ruckus on Tuesday; however I'm on call all next week so what was the bit about best laid plans?....

Beldan Vale |

The battle over, Beldan sinks to the ground. “Stig, you got something to drink … I think I need one after that. Did we just kill a demon lord? Or sort of part of one anyway … Hmmm, do you think the real Graz’zt is going to be mad that we killed his son, or shadow or whatever that thing was?”

Oso Legumbe |

Can Oso have the large wavy longsword? I'd like to give it to Kelanen in some kind of ritual or sacrifice. This was a worthy enemy. Not sure how this would work, never done it before..maybe just pray a bit, mention who helped and offer up Grazzt's sword. Maybe I need to pour some rum on it first, say a bottle...what do you think Stig?
"Cun I have this sword, Altai?"

Stigwold Mæch'Hæmmær |

<Passes Beldan the flask.>
"Ah reckin th' life ixpectancy ay fellars in uir profishun es a wee brief, sae Ah doobt today's deed es gonnae dae much tae change uir fates one way ur anithars."

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

Pip idly strums Lucille
"Ol' Grazz't he was a demon king
With a crown of goaty horns
And a trifurcated ding-a-ling
Although he was quick and deadly and mean
With a head full of deadly spells
He chanced upon the Regulators
Now he's back in his Abyssal hell."
hits a sour note
"Hmm ... needs some work .."

Elgan Dreadwood |

Elgan frowns at Altai's words.
"A'hm a lil' fuzzy on deh whole tahm-trevel t'ing. But if'n yeh say so Chere', ah'll take yer wurd fer it."
He smiles and pats his foot in time with Pip's strumming, and winces as Pip hits a sour note.
"Daz alri'gh' chere. Ye'll git it. Yeh allus do. Say! Mebbe whut yeh need iz tah try an' put it tah a good ol' wood-elf tune!" Elgan grins.

Beldan Vale |

Beldan takes a swig then passes the flask back to the Stig. “Thanks.”
“Right, what now? I like Altai’s idea of taking care of the sahuagin here in the past – if we are in the past – so that we don’t have to deal with them in the future … only … wouldn’t that create a paradox?
“If we kill them all now, it means they won’t be around to drive the lizardmen away, which means we won’t have to fight them out in the marshes, which means we’ll have no reason to come here, which means we wouldn’t have gone back in time to kill them, which means … Hells, I don’t know what that would mean. But I’ll be pissed if we need to fight them twice.” He looks to the wizards to see if they have any ideas.

Oso Legumbe |

Oso gives the sword a long last look, "Kelanen would like summat of Grazzt, I is sure. But if you have the right of it then thass fine. But if you jess is selling them p'haps I can have one of Grazzt's swords for my Prince. He is healing us good after all so it can be some of my treasure haul."
The warrior priest brings out some cheap wine and shares it with whoever. "Beldan, my head isn't into time. But us killing the dolphin killers is a good thing, no?"

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

Pip takes a big swig of the wine Oso hands about
*wheeze*
"Smooth"
He wipes his mouth and strums Lucille
"Time keeps on slippin' slippin' slippin'
Into the future..."
Stops
"I think Lord Steven of the Mills did that one."
Strums again
"It's just a jump to the left..
And then a step to the riiiight!
Put your hands on your hips ...
And bring your knees in tiiiight!
And it's the pelvic thruuust,
That really drives them insaaaaane!
Let's do the Time Warp again!"
Stops playing
*hic!*
"What's in that wine Oso?"

"Meh, we fight them one time, we fight them again, or we fight someone else. It all fighting - no big deal."

Do you guys head back out?
I've got the next gig pretty much slapped together; just need time to post the combat map stuff.
Back to the grotto, you're on your side of the lake; the boat is still there. Again the other beach is about 200 feet away.....all the pregnant sea elves are gone.
All you see over there is the viper tree...

I am only pointing out that they are usable by people in our group. I agree that Lord Kelanen has done right and true for us through your ministry and if you still wish to give him proper attrition then I am all for it. Just wanted to point out the properties of the potential sacrifice.

dungeonmaster heathy |

Allright; you guys are on the north beach of the grottoe; about
50 feet wide east to west and 30 feet from north to south. In the middle of the beach is the boat which you rowed across; it's 200 feet across the grottoe to the far beach, which is roughly 165 feet wide east to west and 50 feet from north to south at its widest. (I'll get coordinatey later when I figure out how you guys are playing it).
The viper tree is on the far beach almost to the water's edge. On the far beach there's a 20 foot wide tunnel opening at the south.
S#&+...the ceiling's about 20 to 30 feet high depending, with stalagmites or stalagtites dangling from it; can't keep those things straight. The grottoe is about....300 feet north to south all told, and 500 feet east to west, and filled with water except for the two described beaches.
Your move.

I'm going to start discussing inane landscapes in extreme detail from here on out.
"And from a-b 5-7 there's a stand of pansies, and next to that, in c-6, there's a hedgehog burrow, with a....three-leafed clover of some kind dangling above it. To your right, the gorse is trembling in the wind.
