He leads you north, deeper and deeper into the volcano....it's a pretty involved group of interconnecting caverns...you see 10 sahuagin here, 12 there. Some are even fighting eachother in brutal little meetings.
Nobody f*$&s with you, though, as they see the trophy head of "Xipe Totec" carried before you.
"Come on, you guys; I got a secret hidey hole. I got something special in there...."
He leads you into some side caverns, into a small 10 foot by 10 foot cavern on the shore of an underwater pond. You hear squealing, and see something thrashing in the water.
Nobody's around but for the one sahuagin.
"I've got a baby dolphin I caught...I've been saving it for a special occasion, and I guess this is as good as any. It's all yours for letting me in with your group...." he smiles a sharky point toothed sahuagin grin.
Pip looks over the snack, but wisely says nothing

Elgan remains pretty much silent on the whole invite-fish-face-to-join-us thing. But follows along as he usually does, mouth shut and ears and eyes wide open for new and exciting things to see.
At least, he remains quiet until he sees the trapped Dolphin.
Even under the magical fishie disguise, it is pretty clear that he's p!$$ed. The steam coming out of his batlike-disguised ears is kind of a dead giveaway.
He doesn't say anything,... yet. But it looks as if he is biting his tongue to keep from doing so,...

Altai nods at Elgan. "Could you tell the little guy he'll need to keep it down as we go through the tunnels? We can spin some yarn about why we killed this guys" - he pokes the chopped-up corpse of the sahuagin - "after all, everybody seems to be killing everybody else down here. However, few, if any, sahuagin wander around with their pet dolphin cubs, and the less out of place we appear, the better."

Altai quickly looks over the dead body before shoving him into a corner.

"So how we get dis dolphin back to sea? That was good work Beldan. I thought you was befriending him until I saw that dagger appear in his back." He re-appraises the guy.

Beldan shrugs, wiping the dagger clean before putting it away. “I don’t like bullies,” he says.
“As for getting this little one back to the sea,” he turns and gives the baby dolphin a wink, “those sahuagin out there aren’t likely to stop us. Look, they’re all bickering and fighting amongst themselves, and besides, we have this head as our talisman. If they try to stop us, we’ll just say we’re the chosen of their demon lord, and we’re on a mission. Or kill them. Either way works.”
