*SPLASH*MUCH*GULP*
First of all, the critter is in Z-AC 32-35.
So! The worm's stats are in this profile. It gets two attacks; the sting is relatively uninteresting as demons are immune to poison, but damage is damage... The profile doesn't include Augment Summoning, but the attacks here do. So:
Sting attack 11+30=AC 41, damage 2d8+18=27.
Bite attack 14+30=AC 44, damage 4d8+18=38. And then, SWALLOW WHOLE!!! Grapple check 13+43=56 versus the marillith's CMD - failure means a trip down the worm's digestive system.Pip's up.
The worm swallows her whole.

dungeonmaster heathy |

The cobra on the ledge casts, and the purple worm disappears.
The marilith teleports and appears right in front of Altai and Pip. The repel metal spell repels her into them, and pushes them both back into Claw and Emrael.
Claw is a stump and stops the force of the repulsion.
The cobra switches to attack Elgan.
Elgan's hit by a stinger, for 12 hp and needs two dc 29 Fort saves in a row to stop taking 1d4 ⇒ 1 con damage per round. Any round he makes the save he takes no damage.
Drow 1 and Drow 2, no longer corked in, jump down to the ledge below.
Group's attack.....

Altai Iscarni |

Claw is a stump and stops the force of the repulsion.
Not quite - the spell is unidirectional, so the emanation only goes in the direction Elgan originally set. As the marillith is now behind the casting point, nobody gets moved.

Altai Iscarni |

Altai takes a step back from the draconic demon and casts a spell.
5' step away from the marillith to avoid having to make a Concentrtion check . The spell is an old standby - my empowered Enervation. Attack roll 12+12=touch AC 24, SR check 11+17+4=32. Damage 1d4=3x1.5=5 HD drained.

Altai's summoned monsters |

As Altai's spell completes, two motes of light appear in the gloom of the cavern. They rapidly gain in luminosity before coalescing into a pair of winged elves. Spotting the rampaging demons, their faces twist in righteous anger.
This is why Altai might be a better summoner than Elgan - sheer numbers. These are a pair of ghaele azatas. Azata 1 is in AM 27, the other in AN 27. Azata 1 speaks a Holy word; it affects all our adversaries and should severely f~&+ them up, especially considering that our marillith friend is down 5 HD and takes a -5 penalty on her saves. Extra important - this is the azata's home plane, and the Holy word can thus banish the demons back to wherever the hell they came from (they get a save with a -4 penalty to aviod this).
The actions of Azata 2 and Gjetost depends on the outcome of the spell.

Bummer. That would've been cool as hell.
Okay, I modded back positions, and moved Altai back five feet. However, she does get an aoo on him; she does hit, for 19 hp damage.
So Altai has to beat a conc check of 10+19+spell level to get the spell off.

Elgan Dreadwood |

HEY!!!! Ah lik'd dat wurm! The Elgan-troll bellows, all nine heads shouting together in a cacophonous chorus. The fact that all nine heads look like the cheerful wood elf, but with hulkified brutish features, is a tad disconcerting.
OK, take 12hp dmg, Elgan's 9th lvl druid ability is immunity to poisons, so that should take care of whatever was in that stinger. Elgan will remain in this form for the moment, The form has Regeneration 10, but is not listed as Ex or Su, so I do not know whether Elgan gets that ability or not?
Will look at map for next move. Altai, any strategy suggestions? :) The JGG's are still here, and can whallop or throw stones, I could always bring in another plantasaurus Rex or 2, and let THEM chomp on the opposition a bit. (They can't cast that greater dispel at will, can they?!? Although I bet the Marilith-dragon has multiple d-Doors) ;P

OK. The spell is Empowered Enervation, a 6th level spell, making the DC 35, which is hard. The good news is that Altai has an outlandish INT score and the Combat Casting feat. So - concentration check 12+31=43. The spell goes off as planned.
As an aside, I'm really badly hurt now. I have 27 hit points left, and Claw has used his healing spell on Emrael (of course, without Claw, I would have been at -47 hit points. So, thanks!)

The JGGs got dispelled early in the fight. Look at the Giant form II description to see what you get in special abilities - I think you get Regeneration 10. And it loooks like the cobra-demons can cast dispel magic at will. I hate them sooooo much.

She gets enervated; she looks all shriveld now.

For each negative level a creature has, it takes a cumulative –1 penalty on all ability checks, attack rolls, combat maneuver checks, Combat Maneuver Defense, saving throws, and skill checks. In addition, the creature reduces its current and total hit points by 5 for each negative level it possesses. The creature is also treated as one level lower for the purpose of level-dependent variables (such as spellcasting) for each negative level possessed. Spellcasters do not lose any prepared spells or slots as a result of negative levels. If a creature's negative levels equal or exceed its total Hit Dice, it dies.

If it makes you feel better, I didn't cherry pick them; I was looking for a reptile/demon motif.

dungeonmaster heathy |

Pip whips out a wand and points it at Altai
"CURA TE MAGUS!"
[dice=UMD] 1d20+27
[dice=CCW] 4d8+17
Pip gets the spell off.
I initially said he got aoo'd but it turns out "activating a magic item" doesn't provoke an aoo. Good to know.
Emrael, Gjetost, Elgan are up to bat.

Emrael Bladewalker |

I don't believe using a wand normally provokes. I'm not so sure about drawing one...
Emrael realizes the state the mage is in and follows Pip's lead since she has the wand in hand already.
UMD DC 20: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (19) + 19 = 38
Cure Critical Wounds: 4d8 + 7 ⇒ (6, 7, 2, 4) + 7 = 26

Hey, no problem - they make fantastic sidekicks. Kudos to you and your encounter planning!

dungeonmaster heathy |

One eladrin says, "wah.....what are demons doing here in the Hero's Realm?"
They both look kinda pissed off and concerned.
"Who are you folk who call on the host of Lagertha? And why are there demons here? Speak."
They reckon you could kick their ass, but they're hardheaded, these Vanirfolk.

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

Pip begins to strum Lucille
"We came to pay
Some churls a call
Sheep stealers, murderers
Brigands all
After we fought
That b&*!$-snake came
From whence unknown
We knew not her name
She threatened us
And promised death
But words are wind
Nought but foul breath
So 'gainst her and her minions
We were set
She is now gone
And we're here yet"
Perform/Diplomacy: 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (4) + 33 = 37

dungeonmaster heathy |

"This is distressing, that demons should run amok in Asgard.....er, Jotunheim,.....but still......"
They port out at the end of the summon monster. Then port back later, mayhap 15 minutes.
"Our Lady, Lagertha, wouldst have thee pay her a visit in Vanaheim. How do your folk travel?"

Altai Iscarni |

"I have a transportation spell that can bring us to Vanirheim prepared, but it is somewhat inaccurate and might involve some walking. Let us bring the linnorm head back to Jarl Snøfrisk and tell him that the sheep-rustling murderers that have plagued him are dead; after that, I can planeshift us there."
"However, I have a better idea. I happen to have a flying boat. If you would accompany us and be our guides, we could fly to Lady Lagertha's court."
