OK, whose in worst shape for healing? Just post a quick count of your current HP/Full HP so I can distribute some quick cures and wand taps! :) Unfortunately I can't spontaneously cast Cure Blindness(es) (Although, Can I? I spontaneously cast CURE spells, and it is CURE blindness? Never had to think about that before.) Hm. DM's choice. :)

Elgan Em and Satari I guesss; Gjetost, can do something....

"So, Elgan. We need to remove the wall, ideally replacing it with a new one at the bottom of the tower, and then find and kill the enemy wizard. Can you fix the walls?"

Elgan shifts back into his normal elf form. He scratches at his dreadlocks sheepishly.

"Um, Soree Altee. Ah only dun asked fer one uv dem tewday. Ah don' needs 'em walls dat much wit dis crew. If'n dere wuz any green heah ah could call up a wall o' thorns. But dat guy'd prub'ly blast trew dat in no times ah tinks."

The poor wood elf looks absolutely despondent that he cannot accommodate Altai's wishes.

I'm down about 40 hp

Pip summons his bralani buddy. Drops of blood fall down from several deep gashes in his skin. His face is sunburned except for around his eyes, and where the darkness splattered him his leg hairs have turned grey and wiry

I'm down about 50. Gjetost is down about 70. I think Emrael has taken a righteous beating.

"The wall is permanent, yes. Oh well. I can burn a big hole in it; however, I'm loath to go down onto the next level in my current state. I'll stay up here on Elgan's floor and summon more monsters."

Guided my Gjetost, Altai flies down to Elgan's stone barrier. "JUst say the word."

I'll disintegrate my way through the wall. First, though, I'm goint to summon some more monsters.

Em is blind, and has 9 hp left.

OK,, then I'll burn (my next to last?) 7th lvl spell for a HEAL for Em. +150 HP and cures almost every listed ailment possible. Including Blindness. :)

I'm saving the Dispel magic: Greater in case we need to shut down the portal again. That's my last 6th lvl,

5th lvl, Em also gets STONESKIN, (DR 10/Adamantine, Max 150pts) Burn Wall of Thorns for CCW 4d8 + 16 ⇒ (2, 3, 7, 8) + 16 = 36 For Pip, that puts him almost full. Burn Aspect of the Wolf for CCW: 4d8 + 16 ⇒ (7, 7, 7, 3) + 16 = 40 for Altai, that leaves Altai with 10 down. A tap of CMW wand should do for total. Saving BAleful Poly for bad guy. :)[/ooc]

And 2 taps of CCW + 1 CMW for Ghjetost: 4d8 + 12 ⇒ (7, 2, 5, 3) + 12 = 294d8 + 12 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 2) + 12 = 273d8 + 10 ⇒ (4, 2, 8) + 10 = 24 Ghet healed for 80 points.

I can't cure any one else of blindness, sorry. :(

Thanks, Elgan! I had used a wand of CCW to improve my hp somewhat and you can use it in place of burning your spells if you prefer.

Cool. The spells go off in this order time permitting; Em's HEAL, Altai's cures, Pip's Cures, Ghjetost's Cures, Em's Stoneskin. If we run out of time I'll reevaluate priority. :)

Emrael, sight restored, flies down to the wall of stone and listens near the edge reasoning that if someone was going to burst through, they would do so in the middle where the stone is not supported by the wall.

Perception: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (16) + 19 = 35

Hmmm.... The Summon Monster lists are of limited utility in this environment. Bebiliths and serious elementals are just too big to fit inside the tower. So:

Round 1: Cast Stoneskin on Satari.
Round 2: Cast Magic circle against evil on Gjetost.
Round 3: Cast Freedom of movement on Gjetost.
Round 4 onwards: Summon monsters. I'm thinking hordes and hordes of lantern archons; that's a lot of ranged touch attacks!

While we're prepping, Claw and the elementals keep resuing prisoners. Next up are I19, T22 and U24.

Also, Elgan needs to move the swarming bugs down to the walls next to us. They'll boil through the hole right as I open it.

Cool. First of all, Claw and the elementals get the hell out of the way and fly out of the tower. If they can grab some bodies that's great; if not, that's OK too.

Altai has 5 lantern archons orbiting him. They zoom down to I12, K12, L12, O12 and L13 and attack the darkness. Five rays hit touch ACs 16 (5 damage), 15 (2 damage), 14 (4 damage), 12 (2 damage) and 16 (6 damage). The damage is untyped and penetrates all forms of DR.

Gjetost delays for now.

Upon hearing the wall of stone shatter, Altai's face breaks into a nasty grin. "Sounds like he did the job for me. Come, my chittering friends! I have a choice prize for you!" Altai starts casting a summoning spell.

I'm converting Incendiary cloud into Summon monster VIII. Something yucky (not quite sure what yet) arrives on my turn next round.

The archons all miss the thing. It's touch ac is strangely bodacious.
