Pip hits the bastard being grappled twice; it's getting deader by the minute.
The ship judders, leaving its grounding. It rises 30 feet in the air, straight up.
The causeway falls away, but the door in the side of the ship is still open.
The tigers have the moonbeast in their grasp; it can't get loose, although it tries.
Groups' attack!!!!!
Emrael Bladewalker |
Emrael, not wanting the half-orc to face whatever remains within alone, casts a spell of flight and moves 40' toward the door.
Satari turns toward the ship and leaps up into the air. Disappearing ing mid-flight, he lands gently in the doorway bad ore prudently stepping out of the Elgantree's line of fire.

Putting you in s31; if you're good with that; I don't want to get into 3d geometry right now, so I reckon that's fair.

Elgantree lifts Dok upwards, bends backwards with a creaking noise,... And then snaps his leafy arm forward like a catapult,...
Crud, unsure what to do here, I have a 26 Str currently, plus a 14 dex to aim, plus the bonuses from HAste and Pip's song,BAB+10, Guess I just add it up like a normal attack? OK, Str is enough to get him there, so it's a 'ranged' or dex-based att: BAB+Dex+Haste+Song= +16
'Toss the pigskin'! :) 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30

The tigers keep savaging their new chew toy.
Tiger 1:Bite 10+20+2(flank)=AC 32, damage 2d6+10=18.
Claw 1: 12+20+2(flank)=AC 34, damage 2d4+10=16
Claw 2: 1+20+2(flank)=automatic miss, no damage
Claw 3: 11+20+2(flank)=AC 33, damage 2d4+10=12
Claw 4: 7+20+2(flank)=AC 29, damage 2d4+10=17.
Maintaining the grapple: 10+25+5(as it didn`t break loose last turn)=40 versus the monbeast CMD.
Tiger 2:Bite 9+20+2(flank)=AC 31, damage 2d6+10=17.
Claw 1: 11+20+2(flank)=AC 33, damage 2d4+10=14

Claw 3: 6+20+2(flank)=AC 28, damage 2d4+10=15
Claw 4: 14+20+2(flank)=AC 36, damage 2d4+10=17.
Grapple maintenance: 12+25+5=42 versus the monbeast CMD.

Gjetost snatches the statue of the hapless Leng guy next to him and throws it at the moonbeast in a smooth motion. He then hustles towards the rising ship.
He grabs the statue in X25; as it is a Medium object, it pretty much works like one of his regular boulders. He has Precise Shot, so he incurs no penalties for firing into melee. Attack roll 13+17+1(haste)+3(bard)=AC 34 minus any range penalties the DM sees fit, damage 1d8+18+3(bard)=25.
He then moves to AC-AE 30-32.

home for 10 minutes, then I gotta pick kids up. I'll square stuff away in a few hours.
re: Elgan the orc launcher,.....I just need to know where you want to throw Dok to; either Elgan or Dok can answer.
The toss is good to go though; unless you're targeting something real small, which neither the deck of this ship or the door on the side is.

Satari's post is combined with that of Emrael.
doik!
he's in a biiiiiiiiig holding bay.
(I'll map this tonight, later on;)
it's huge, and filled with people, gobs of people.
Each wears only a tunic, and is chained by the neck to the ceiling, which is a good 15 feet above the floor.

Attack 4 1d20+16;1d8+17Additional damage for Manyshot (if ATK 1 hits): 1d8+17
I'll hold onto the attacks for the Pipmeister.
I gotta do a little creative mapping for the next awesome part of this here encounter.
That way, I can get the inner bowels of the ship a little more figured out.
So, next phase coming up in some number of hours (3-4 maybe)

okay.
The big rectangle down below is the hold.
"C's" are chained prisoners, with chains to the roof; mostly humans in tunics.
Satari can make out the dimensions in the room, but not the walls; doors are hidden by a crowd of prisoners.
Their move,......
Satari can see three large ?'s coming through the crowded prisoners, he can't make them out, but he can tell they're large, and probably quadrupedal.
On the deck, Dok sees 3 more moonbeasts emerge from the doors; for Pip's last attack he can pick one of them as a target;
GROUP'S ATTAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!
and I'll be back in an hour

Spotting fresh moonbeasts, the tigers let out earsplitting yowls and charge.
Tiger 1 charges Moonbeast6, moving to T-U 35-36:
Bite: 12+20+2(charge)=AC 34, damage 2d6+10=19.
Claw 1: 9+20+2(charge)=AC 31, damage 2d4+10=15
Claw 2: 10+20+2(charge)=AC 32, damage 2d4+10=16
Claw 3: 11+20+2(charge)=AC 33, damage 2d4+10=14
Claw 4: 11+20+2(charge)=AC 33, damage 2d4+10=16.
Finally, the grapple: 8+25+2(charge)=35 versus the moonbeast CMD.
Tiger 2 charges Moonbeast 8. It is now in AI-AJ 35-36:
Bite: 13+20+2(charge)=AC 35, damage 2d6+10=17.
Claw 1: 16+20+2(charge)=AC 38, damage 2d4+10=17
Claw 2: 8+20+2(charge)=AC 30, damage 2d4+10=15
Claw 3: 10+20+2(charge)=AC 32, damage 2d4+10=16
Claw 4: 11+20+2(charge)=AC 33, damage 2d4+10=18.
Finally, the grapple: 12+25+2(charge)=39 versus the moonbeast CMD.
It should be noted that the reason the tigers have so many attacks is that they have both Pounce and Rake special abilities - i.e. full and extra attacks on charges and the extra claw attacks on grappled targets. Combining that with Improved Grab and, well, it gets ugly fast.

Gjetost looks up at the ship hovering above him, listening to the roaring giant cats. "Hmmmmmm....." He sheathes his sword before reaching up, grabbing hold of the railing. He then pulls himself up on deck, making the metal fittings groan in protest.
Move to AC-AE 33-35. Gjetost is Huge, so pulling himself up should be a piece of cake. As fun a visual as it would have been having him climb up with his no-dachi between his clenched teeth, pirate style, the line had to be drawn somewhere...

Too funny! Emrael continues her flight, intending to join Satari in the hold. How tall is the ceiling in here? Can she maintain elevation and make out what is coming or where the doors might be?
Yes. It's 15 feet high. Just word to the wise; everywhere there's a "c" is a captive, and a chain that stretches up to the ceiling. So, it's a maze of chains to fly through......
She can make them out from her angle. More of the moonbeasts.
