I farted up....
abundant step's a move action; flurry of blows requires a full attack; owell, I'll let her stand as is.
You didn't mess up Heathy. Satari also has the Dimensional Dervish feat...
Benefit: You can take a full-attack action, activating abundant step or casting dimension door as a swift action. If you do, you can teleport up to twice your speed (up to the maximum distance allowed by the spell or ability), dividing this teleportation into increments you use before your first attack, between each attack, and after your last attack. You must teleport at least 5 feet each time you teleport.
So by my reading he can flurry as his full attack action as part of an abundant step charge.

Cool to know; the illusion of my omniscience is failsafe now.

Knowledge (arcana) 1d20 + 24
Emrael responds without looking back at the concerned wild elf.
"It's a pocket dimension, created by wizards to protect their guest. I imagine the fact that it is created via arcane means and not natural growth is what you are feeling - or not feeling. Do you know what language a nereid would speak? I do not know how to properly address, but perhaps beginning the conversation in her native language would be helpful in establishing a peaceful conversation."
Emrael has entered in far enough for the rest of the party to enter behind her, but she waits, not wanting to offend.
Elgan answers; "uh, yah,,, dem dah nereid;.....I ting dey bin spikkin thet AQuon, en det SYLvon, en speak dat ole COMmon, like wat we all speak like right hyoh now....."
That's me doin CAjon......

Dok slips into the area, crouches down, and checks for signs of animal life, or other passage...
Survival (Track): 1d20+28
Nothing too heinous; nothing the plantasaurus could have an epic conflict with.
Sees some monkey prints, and maybe racoon, or looks like racoon.
Lotta bird prints.

"VISITORS! OH, HOW LONG IT'S BEEN!"
She starts walking towards a trail;
"I have a....tally stone, where I mark the days; it's this way...."
then;
"Oh, the sword. I can sense it."
she turns to Beldan.
"You....are not the handsome samurai who I gave it to;...."
she looks sombrely.
"It's been....a long time. Are you his,.....great grandson, perhaps? I can't....remember how long humans take to spawn a new generation,...."
Then at Emrael;
"I know you, er.....your line. You look like your grandmother. Spitting image."
Elgan Dreadwood
Elgan grins at the SYlph's exclamation.
"HOwdee dere chere-ee'!" He waves, then coughs and continues in Sylvan,...
(SYlvan) "Greetings most fair of water bearers. It is our great pleasure to meet you. I do apologize for arriving unannounced, but there were some, complications involved in getting in to see you."
"Ah, actually no. I fear that the noble Beldan is not a descendant of the undoubtedly noble warrior you gifted the sword too. However, I assure you that he is also a valiant champion of good, and that the blade is in good hands."
ELgan looks at Emreal with a raised eyebrow as he translates what the neried says for the others.
dungeonmaster heathy
"Greetings, and welcome to my gilded cage.
I am Evindra, was charged with that blade Briar, to keep it safe from Nyressa.
I hid it a while, then was captured and given as a gift to the Emperor of the humans..........I've been here in my special prison for many years.
It seems the world beyond has....moved on,......
a young samurai came here, fought his way here, and.....I gave him the sword. I thought that he would defeat her; it seems I was wrong. I do not sense her passing.
The Eldest said I would sense her passing......
Maybe I should've kept it safe here, but.....I figured that her agents would eventually find me and do me in."
Elgan Dreadwood
(Sylvan) saves me the trouble of typing out cajun-speak! ;P
"Greetings Evindra, I am Elgan, and these worthies assembled here are my friends." Elgan introduces each by name, then continues.
"Pray forgive my ignorance, but who, or what, is Nyressa?" / "I am pained to hear of such treatment to a sister of nature, and I fear you are correct, the outside world has indeed moved on. Which explains why no one has visited you in so long. However, something seems to have upset the balance of nature in the region. The dead spirits rise to fight battles long-done, and the very fabric of the Source seems to twist, giving rise to creatures both unnatural and fearful." / "You were told you would sense the passing of this Nyressa? And why would her agents be after you in the first place? I pray that you share your tale with us, as we have had some experience in the solving of mysteries and dealing with villains."
Emrael Bladewalker
Then at Emrael;
"I know you, er.....your line. You look like your grandmother. Spitting image."
Emrael completely forgets about the others for a moment. "You know... you knew my grandmother?"
dungeonmaster heathy

Damn I'm tough. I'm f$%&ing 43, doing 3 hours of yardwork in 105 degree weather AFTER I finished usual work.

Satari observes the Nereid's interactions with Emrael and Elgan. He floats within himself, leaving room for any feelings to emerge that might indicate deceit or danger.
Sense motive: 1d20+22
She's not dangerous. She's.....kinda.....needy; well you would be too if you were imprisoned for centuries.
She's really desperate for company.
dungeonmaster heathy
"Yeh, life's a pain dat way. So, What's dis' 'Nyressa's' problem? And why all deh fuss over a sword? No offense Beldin, iz a NICE sword an all, but it's just a sword, right?"
"Nyressa,....she essentially became too big for her breaches.
She thought she was a bigger wave than she was. She thought she was a New Elder.......her lover coaxed that in her.The other Elders of the First World decided to teach her a lesson.
They took away her ability to LOVE, and turned it into a sword.
The one Beldan holds.
It is her ability to LOVE.
She....no longer can."
dungeonmaster heathy
"Long ago,...Nyressa was a nymph. She spent her time as nymphs do,.....and I daresay was content.
Then she fell in love with one of the Eldest, Count Ranalc. Eldest of the First World;....it is rumored the Count has many many names.
He showed her wonders, and gave her inspiration. She came to believe that she was the newest of that vaunted collection of beings known as the Eldest.
But the others were affronted. Ranalc had corrupted her. And they sent that Tain the Jabberwock to test her in her Empire of Thousandbreaths......her land in the First World.
Jabberwocky found her wanting that fateful brilig, and brought her wracked before the True Eldest of the First World.
From her mind and spirit, they tore her capacity to love, and coalesced her dangerous warped love into that sword, Briar.
This they bequeathed to me through their cloaked agents, to hide, to protect. Some of these cloaked ones, Emrael, Elgan;......more than your grandmother;....some of these cloaked agents were amongst the very progenitors of your elven race. The very sires and dams of that kith of folk!
I thought I failed, until......you and yours show up with it safe in hand.
Now, Nyressa will hunt you. She will send the blooms, and through them, draw Wa into the First world unless you stop her. She wants the sword, for it is profesyed, to hold her doom.
Elgan Dreadwood
Elgan Blinks.
"Wah'll,... DAT aint raight!"
"Ah means, It seems lahk dey dun got dere knickers inna knot oveh sumbuddy else wantin' teh join dere club. Seems a bit extreme teh me iz all. Ah means a simple 'no new members' policee woulda wurked jes fine. An den dey wudden have all of DIS teh wurry 'bout!" He gestures a the sword.
"Mans 'civilized' powers iz crazee,..."
Emrael Bladewalker
"I'm not sure the realm of the First World would be considered civilized, Elgan. It is chaos and whim personified. Otherwise, I have to agree with you. It seems that they have created what they sought to prevent - another powerful agent, if not an Eldest, of the First World."
dungeonmaster heathy

"She is not yet an Eldest. She needs the sword back. She needs to pull Wa into the first world. Into Thousandbreaths."
dungeonmaster heathy
"Ye Gods, if we make it out of this one with our skin intact I will have the epic edda that will immortalize us!" Pip whispers to Elgan
Pip bows deep to the neried
"Noble one, how can we safeguard this sword? Or stop Nyressa?"
"It will grow in power, with each bloom defeated. Defeat enough blooms, and you can perhaps trick your way into the first world, to hunt her down.
There must be a place where this world and the First World intersect, but.....I do not know where it is. Her agents will though. They will use this place, to come through to Wa, and to hunt you."
Elgan Dreadwood
Elgan the Adaptable is always ready to try something new! :)
"Wah'll naw. Dat duddin' soun' sew hard now duz it?" Elgan says grinning inexplicably.
"Ah means, awll we haz teh dew iz luuk fer whar deh mostest weird stuff iz cumin' frum, wit dem flahwers en ahll, an' follow it back teh dis Nyressa!"
Elgan bows to the neried.
"Not teh wurry yerself ma'am. We'ez duz tis sorta ting AHLL deh tahme!"
Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe
Pip listens to the neried's lament.
"Perhaps we can help you escape this pocket dimension and return you to your Coralia?"
He strums Lucille
"For the love of a sword
Or the sword of a love
The Regulators
Will rise above.
To dry the tears
Of a watery lass
The Regulators
Will kick some ass."
Elgan Dreadwood
"Taint raight fer a water spirit tew be kept so far away frum her native element. Uv curse we'll be glad tew escurt yeh back!" Elgan says cheerfully.
Possibly either ignoring or just blissfully ignorant of the possible logistics of such an escort,...
"Top of the page maw!" ;)
