Altai hasn't had much to add to discussions of love and ambition. But he perks back up at the nereid's plan. "If I may... Who or what has kept you in here for so long? Surely something has kept you inside? Also, Nyressa's still out there; do you fancy your chances against her?"
Emrael nods, "We would be happy to escort you, but I agree with Altai. What dangers will you face? What dangers need we prepare for in order to deliver you safely?"
"I was kept by the emperor, and then by the black sword cultists.
After that,.......I....couldn't escape through so many dead that walk........."

"I have.....no idea. I haven't been further than the chambers of horrors immediately outside. I don't know what the world holds outside any more."

The party is deposited in the room with the thirteen crypts, although they now have one more member, a beauteous nereid, who Beldan seems to enjoy standing behind.
"Well," she says, "this place hasn't changed much."
Leers at the penanggalan; "err,...." and gags a little bit.....

"I'm still really curious as to what awaits us when we exit the crypt. The king's shades, the undead monks, the oath-bound samurai, the cannon-wielding golem... or something entirely different. Hell, I'm not even sure what time it'll be when we re-emerge."

Dok takes point, moving through the area quickly.
You swiftly move through the ossuary where the shadowdemons attacked, and reach the keep above.
It is deserted; an open space, no paper walled divisions exist.There is a bit of ancient detritus here and there, but it's mainly deserted.
The entry is visible, to the south.
There's also a wooden stairway up to the east.

"Wah'll/ AH don' knew whut ah wuz 'spectin', but ah'm purty shure dat dis wuddn't it!" Elgan says, looking around skeptically. He leans over and offers a scurrying rat a morsel of food, whispering to it softly,...
"Hello little friend. HAve you seen any other two-legs about? Besides us? Recently that is?"
"Two legs bad.....not you guys.....you nice feed me nice......none around right now....just us rats here.....and you guys......"
The nereid speaks; "I....always forget, how....dry it is when I'm far from water. Does anybody have a drink of water?..."
She starts, when suddenly she hears one of these......
then becomes somewhat embarassed when she realizes what it was.
"Shueh dere chere, we gots deh watuh! Iz alright dahlin'. Yew bin in dere quaht a whahle. Don wurry nun dere, weze gonan git yew tew whar yew goin'!" He says, forgetting to speak Sylvan as he gives her a canteen.
She downs the canteen thirstily.
"This'll last me a spell; thank you Elgan."
She was looking kinda poorly, starting to shrivel up some........kinda taking on a haggard caste about her.
She starts, when suddenly she hears one of these......
then becomes somewhat embarassed when she realizes what it was.
Hearing her ask for water, Dok unslings his waterskin and hands it to her. "It's full. You carry. We should move." With that, he heads out.
She lifts it;
"thank you! This should last me a bit...."
Dok's able to get to the outer hold of the place. Nothing stirs aside from the wind,.......among the dead bones of that which you fought before.
"No problem miss. We'll take guud care o yeh!" He says with an almost bashful grin.
Pip tromps along, singing, and keeping an eye out for trouble

Elgan taps his toes as they walk along to Pip's tune. (How the wild elf druid can actually tap his toes while walking you have NO idea)

The white-haired monk finds himself humming along with Pip's infectious riff. "So travel the brave, death behind and death before, worlds balanced and still."
