Dok
Dok drops his bow and, with practiced speed, tears his falchion from its sheath, attacking (S1, please) in the same motion.
Falchion attack 1: 1d20 + 22 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 22 + 3 = 35
Damage: 2d4 + 10 ⇒ (3, 2) + 10 = 15
Fire Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Dok lays into the thing, and is eerily relieved to "hit" something solid, as the ghostbane dirge's resonations bring the thing into our dimension from terra insubstantia.
It proves hardy though, and stands, even as Dok slices into its neck and down into its lungs. Or,....where a more natural thing's lungs should be,.....
Elgan Dreadwood
Elgan ignores the danger to himself, and pumps a little more healing into Beldan, just to be sure.
Trading for another CCW 4d8+14 (I should have just used a HEAL, but wasn't sure how many HP Beldan was supposed to have!) ;P
4d8 + 14 ⇒ (3, 1, 3, 1) + 14 = 22
Wow. Cruddy roll. Beldan should be up to almost 50HP now though! (45?)
Elgan stands, turns, and glares at the nearest spirit/demon/whatsit/whocares.
"Chew Jes hurt muh fren. Dat wuz a bad ideer." He growls.
I mean he actually GROWLS, and then shimmers and shifts into his treant-form, filling the tiny space. His branch-arms burst into flaming, sparking torches trailing waves of frost.
"CUHM EN GIT SUM!" The not-so-tiny druid bellows.
Since shifting is a free action, I can do it after my standard/ heal of Beldan. My AC is now 32, and I have Dmg Red 5/slashing

Continuing to use haste The kensai's blade continues to flash back and forth through the creature facing her.

Satari-san
Satari-san replies, "Tsk, tsk. Here I am being perfectly serious while you make outrageous statements that you can't possibly hope to carry through."
Flurry of Blows

His unarmed strikes count as lawful and magic for purposes of determining damage reduction.

Pip
The bard looks around at the foes and decides to give the half-orc an assist as he draws his bow and a demon bane arrow.
One shot since he's drawing this round.
Attack 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (3) + 21 = 24 Removing normal rapid shot penalty
Damage 1d8 + 17 + 2d6 ⇒ (3) + 17 + (3, 3) = 26 including bane damage

Elgan trree looks sad.
"Awww. I waaaanted to poound ooon iit!" He rumbles.
He looks at the last one that Altai targetted.
slam attacks (2), with flame, frost, electric dmg added. Bonus from HAste and bardic bonus included
1d20 + 20 ⇒ (7) + 20 = 271d8 + 15 + 1d6 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 15 + (4) + (1) + (1) = 231d20 + 20 ⇒ (6) + 20 = 261d8 + 15 + 1d6 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 15 + (6) + (4) + (4) = 31
"It Wuuz stiil twiitchiing."
Elgan Dreadwood
"Yeew Wuunt suum moore?!?!"
SLAP! POW! ZOWIE!
Same as before, here's some more! (forgot the extra attack from haste!):)
1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 301d8 + 15 + 1d6 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 15 + (6) + (6) + (3) = 331d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 301d8 + 15 + 1d6 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 15 + (5) + (3) + (3) = 321d20 + 20 ⇒ (6) + 20 = 261d8 + 15 + 1d6 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 15 + (3) + (3) + (5) = 29
"Annd staay Doowwn!!"
Emrael Bladewalker
Nobody cast haste, Elgan. Emrael's using her boots of haste to get the extra attack. Speaking of which... Emrael dismisses the haste effect and takes a couple more cuts at the shredded creature.
Katana attack 1d20 + 18 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 18 + 3 = 29 including inspire courage bonus
Damage 1d8 + 17 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 17 + 3 = 28

Elgan Dreadwood
Sorry, I'm just so used to Pip doing the Haste trick that when I saw you using it I presumed it had happened again! ;P
Elgantree looks around.
"Awww,... Nooo mooore?"
The tree shimmers back into an elf. He looks around.
"Ever-wun okay?"
He peers at Beldan. "Yew need anudder whack wit' deh happy stick?" He asks, waving one of his cure wands.
Altai Iscarni
"Awww,... Nooo mooore?"
The tree shimmers back into an elf. He looks around.
"That was more than enough. Jeez, fire-resistant monsters? What will they think of next?" Altai shakes his had. "Now, the nereid can't be any worse than that lot, can she? Let's move on. Clear the way, Claw."
dungeonmaster heathy
Claw clears away the skulls, and opens the door with a mighty creak.
It leads to a hallway running south, which empties into a massive mausoleum.
The "yellow" is a raised area, and the "darker yellow" is stairs that run down from the entry; they're not a stairwell, just stairs down from a raised area that wrap around said area.....i.e. they all slope away from the raised area; let me know if that doesn't make sense.
the black rectangles represent raised sarcophagi; stone, with stone reliefs on top of warriors in repose, armed and armored;
There is a large pool of eerily lit water, blue like the Caribbean, blue like heaven's Oceans.
On the other side of the pool, a throne carved ornately from a single massive chunk of jade, and pebbled with gemstones.
The throne appears empty.
Elgan Dreadwood
'Niaace Place." Elgan mutters deadpan.
"If'n dis' iz how dey set up dere gues's, Ah'll take muh chances campin outside. Weeerd tahme-shifts 'en all!" He states firmly. You get the sense that Elgan might be just a teeny bit claustrophobic, his being used to the outdoors and all.
Emrael Bladewalker
Beldan
Perception 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (17) + 17 = 34 +7 vs traps
Beldan addresses the empty room from the raised entry, "So, uh, the emperor sent us to talk to you. He thought you might have some information about this sword." He looks over his shoulder at Altai, "That's what he said, right?"
Emrael
Holding the key before her like some sort of magical ward, Emrael waits at the edge of the landing (say, R24) for any signs of life within the room.
Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe
"Penanggalan!" Pip shreiks
He rips a power cord from Lucille
Casting Haste on the party, then moving into the +3 Inspire Courage
"Blood sucking creatures of the night
Nocturnal spectre hiding from the light
Cries screaming out every fright
Eagerly awaiting plight
Apparitions from the pits of Hell
Death plagues the streets in which they dwell
Demented lust, the secrets they must keep
Addicted to your blood
At dawn they sleep "
Emrael Bladewalker
"Indeed. That is no way to treat a fine weapon. Why, that single sword could the culmination of a life's work."
She tucks the key into her belt and takes a defensive posture.
Initiative 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
dungeonmaster heathy
She's a Penanggalen. They pull their heads and guts out of their body; a sort of vampire....you've never heard of one using its entrails to wield weaponry though.
DR 5/silver and slashing.
Resist cold 10, fire 10
fast healing 5.
Light sensitivity. Staggered in sunlight if outside of body.
Blood drain 1d4 con; disease filth fever; bile withers; fort or take 1d4 dex and 1d4 charisma........
no spell resistance
Elgan Dreadwood
"Huh. Kidney pie, coming up. Now, what in the Nine Hells is this thing?"
Knowledge (religion) 13+17=30. Do I know anything about these creatures - and are they too immune to fire?
"Iz TOAST! Daz whut dat iz!" Elgan replies from his perch atop Claw's shoulder pad.
Altai Iscarni
"This is a..... Well, think of it as an unusually disgusting vampire. Try to not let it bite you. It is killed by pounding it into paste, preferably with silver swords."
Hmmm... No Disintegrate spells left. I think I'll start off with Melf's acid arrow; it does some damage and makes it difficult to cast spells for it.
So - move to V24 before launching the bomb. Attack roll 11+10=touch AC 21, damage 2d4=6 acid.
Emrael Bladewalker
I kind of pictured Emrael being at the corner of the raised portion, so R24 if it's not otherwise occupied. I assume H is the bad'un and the party is just not on the map yet.
Beldan will hold up his tengu sword to see if it reacts to the floating horror. Assuming not, he will move back into the party and down the right side of the wall with an eye on circling around behind it.
dungeonmaster heathy
Emrael Bladewalker
Speed enhanced by Pip's spell, Emrael launches herself toward the creature, striking like a viper and returning to the platform in R21.
She will use a swift action to trigger her arcane pool on her arcana, making it a +3 Holy Keen Shocking Burst weapon and uses Spring Attack to attack without provoking the AoO.
Attack 1d20 + 18 + 2 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (14) + 18 + 2 + 2 - 3 = 33 +2 from arcane pool, +2 from holy, -3 due to power attack
Damage 1d8 + 10 + 2 + 2 + 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 10 + 2 + 2 + (4, 5) + 9 = 38 +2 from arcane pool, +2 from holy, +2d6 holy damage, +9 from power attack
Assuming, of course, that said "unusually disgusting vampire" is evil...
And that was almost a crit threat... hope it hit!
