Hawcroft Logging: A Fork in the Road

Game Master TheLogicOfCrocodiles

The party is split, one group defending the river gate and another exploring the oddly quiet hallways of the nearby dwarven hillfort, both groups experiencing something of a breather from the assaults of those afflicted by the unfolding plague.

Thank you. Caveth.

Of course. Luckily you are conveniently compact. And hold off on the thank you's until after the AoO. We might be having a slumber party in the rain together yet.

Male Human Alchemist 1

haha please don't, I didn't bring my pajamas!

Male Human Alchemist 1

Am I supposed to roll the damage I take?

Oops I labeled my reflex save wrong...

Yes prof, you can roll your own damage and describe the effect it has on you accordingly - sorry, should have mentioned that.

Ahh! Sorry Silas! :(

Serpents Skull Fighter 1 | AC: 17, T: 12, FF: 15 | HP 12/13 | CMD: 16 | F +5, R +2, W +1 | Init: +2 | Perc: +3 (+2 Metal or Gems) | Hammers (5/5)

How far is Silas from the door?

Sheet HP 9/12

Is all good!

Thanks Caveth, 1 point should take Silas to Disabled (0 HP) at which point he can do a single movement action to get up.
He can then take a standard action to move 30ft, but loses a HP and is dying at the end of the turn.
If people can rush him in, great, he'll do that. Otherwise he'll do the rush and drop.

Silas was scattering oil around, so quite close- probably no more than ten feet.

Joseph would be pretty close to him too, and he hasn't had an action since tge unfolded thing hit him.

Nice work, Caveth.

I'm trying my best. That channel should have caught the whole group, it has a 30' radius centred on me and I don't think anyone was outside of that. I can channel once more if we get everyone into the office before the workers get too close.

HP: 17 / 28 | Halfling Barbarian

I don't know if the workers count as living, for the purposes of receiving healing goodness from Channel Positive Energy. I certainly hope not.

I'm sure you'll find out at some point...

Male Human Alchemist 1

I hope we're all behind the shut door when that happens....

Sheet HP 9/12

For the record, I think they're all going to run through the oil. I just hope they all burn when they do (Silas was trying to put the oil within a few feet of the wall, so they'll stand in or near it if they truly don't feel pain)
It is reasonable, however, that the plague hasn't overrun that particular recoil instinct. Also that the plague itself can be damaged by heat and will not order its hosts into the fire.
That buys us a few rounds to barricade the house.

HP: 17 / 28 | Halfling Barbarian

It's because I am just too keen to keep posting, but I've lost track of rounds and initiative. I'm keen to post for Kay again but fairly sure she has acted for this round. Let me know if I'm wrong.

Ah, just take a turn - as i said during recruitment, pretty lax about tthibgs like combat order, especially in what looks to be a seige.

Serpents Skull Fighter 1 | AC: 17, T: 12, FF: 15 | HP 12/13 | CMD: 16 | F +5, R +2, W +1 | Init: +2 | Perc: +3 (+2 Metal or Gems) | Hammers (5/5)

Gatsby:
Is Harbek still feeling sick or does it seem to have passed?

HP: 17 / 28 | Halfling Barbarian

I'm taking my family on an impromptu camping holiday for four days or so.... I don't know if I will get reception, so I have asked my mate Kip to cover for Kay if I don't.

Good luck guys.

Male Human Magus (Kensai) (2)

I'm not sure, but I think my dice might just be trying to kill me...

Sheet HP 9/12

sigh
Someone say something about the wolfhound, okay?
Silas has a thing about dogs... probably regards the poor thing as a threat... but I feel terrible.

Male Human Magus (Kensai) (2)

Bit busy with the fighting, and my character wouldn't risk the lives of everyone in the office for a dog. Someone else will have to if it happens...

A-ha! And now you are forced to make the most terrifying choice... the test of disney morals! Cue evil laughter...

Serpents Skull Fighter 1 | AC: 17, T: 12, FF: 15 | HP 12/13 | CMD: 16 | F +5, R +2, W +1 | Init: +2 | Perc: +3 (+2 Metal or Gems) | Hammers (5/5)

Lol, not the dog!

Sheet HP 9/12

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

HP: 17 / 28 | Halfling Barbarian

Okay, I'm back from camping. Thank you Kip. It will be better to be part if the TPK in real time. Much more satisfying that way.

Sheet HP 9/12

Thanks guys :)

Has the Prof gone AWOL?

Male Human Alchemist 1

No, I am still here. I just started classes Thursday.

Plus, I didn't want to post too much and give others more opportunity to post. :) I don't want to be a game-hog.

Good to see you're still here. I thought you might have fallen down a well. I was about to call Lassie.

Ha! Okay, no problem. I was just worried that you'd fallen down a well... oh damn, Kay already got there. Damn you, halfling!

Male Human Alchemist 1

Haha! However, I do live in Florida, so I stand a greater chance of getting sucked into a sinkhole than falling into a well.....however, neither fate has befallen me.....yet.

That sounds a little worrying...

Oh, and you should probably take an action in the main thread. we:re not really quite in combat rounds anymore, but it:s been a little quiet the past day or so...

Scratch that on the quiet front!

You don't need a check to make it out of the windows - what I do want to know is what you'll take as you run. you have time to grab one thing and make it out before the office ceases to exist - Anything from a map to a person is fair game.

Moffrey will take himself, so don't worry abot him, but if you want to take the captive worker that'll require a DC 15 STR check to drag him with you and pull him out of the window after you.

Also, please tell me which window you're leaving by - front of the office or river-facing side of the office.

If anybody hasn't posted their escape in the next twenty four hours or so, I'll NPC them out - I'm not a complete monster - but they won't take anything with them besides what they're holding already.

Choose wisely! Good luck!

Enjoy your explosion, everybody!

Should have checked this first...
Following Atterleigh.
if Moffrey can get himself out, and Skadi has a way out, then take his kit... or is that too heavy?

No, the kit is fine - just be aware that some things might break.

I'm very glad that Harbek chucked the dog out the window.

We'll it did maul one of the workers... And who knows, we may run low on rations ;)

Male Human Magus (Kensai) (2)

I'm pretty sure I've actually rolled more damage against myself than anyone I've hit with my sword. A lot of ones there...

HP 18/22 AC 16 T 13 FF 13 CMD 15 CMB +2 Fort +6 Ref +3 Will +4 Init +5 Perc +6 Longbow +4, 1d8+1 Light Mace +4, 1d6+1

Betrayed by the dice here too! Max damage against myself for the explosion. Good thing it was the first time I've taken damage so far. Hope everyone else makes it through this.

Sheet HP 9/12

I can't believe Silas is up!

To be honest, nether can I! He's going to have some interesting scars for a while!

Feel sorry for Kay though - i promise to try and let more than a day go by without dropping you down to dying again... :(

HP: 17 / 28 | Halfling Barbarian

Lol, I might feel unlucky if I wasn't a barbarian - but I feel like I am doing my job right.

My posts don'tseem to be sticking since paizo went down, if you can read this please tell me!

Hooray!

Male Human Magus (Kensai) (2)

That dog's gonna be like old yellow, isn't it...
