Congratulations, guys. Still alive... barely, in some places.
A scenario complete, a lot of challenges overcome, some good exploration and a lot of great roleplay - I'm certainly pleased I started the thread, and it's about to hit a one-month anniversary!
So, on to the matter at hand.
1) You should level up your characters - level 2 is certainly within your grasp, taking into account the experience with the stag, your dealing with the workers and a lot of roleplay experience for your interactions with both eachother and the world around you. Level three won't come quite so easy, but I figure the boost will be welcome (and may even help out with some dice rolls...).
2) When you level, each character gains an additional trait-style reward based on roleplay and tactics, a little nod of the head from me and something to make a low-magic world slightly more bearable. These rewards are as follows...
Kay, you threw yourself into the metaphorical fire (and out of the literal fire) to help your team-mates. You gain Stout of Heart, a permanent +2 bonus to your hp and a similarly permanent +1 bonus on all offensive trip attempts. In addition, you gain a +1 bonus on tests made to stabilise yourself whilst dying.
Joseph, nobody doubts your enthusiasm... though some may doubt your dice karma. You gain Pip-shift - from now on, once per day when rolling damage you may invoke a stroke of extraordinary luck, and re-roll any results of 1 or 2 on your damage dice (if the re-rolled damage dice come up as 1 or 2 again, treat those results as a 3s).
Silas, you have managed to seriously scar yourself over the course of the day, and seen more of your insides than you're comfortable with, but still managed to miraculously pull through. You gain Anatomical Accuracy - once per day, as a move action, you can mark a weakness in the body of a single foe, a flaw to exploit. Anybody who manages to damage a foe you have marked in this way until your next combat round deals additional damage with their first hit equal to 2 + your intelligence modifier (minimum +1).
Harbek, you've been with the party for a very short time but managed to arrive right when you needed to. You gain In the Nick of Time, a permanent +1 bonus to both your initiative rolls and your reflex saves.
Professor, you've been quiet for a few days now but that doesn't mean you're exempt from triumph! You gain Avuncular Nature, a permanent +2 bonus on your diplomacy and Knowledge:Local rolls.
And finally Caveth - without Milani, there are some party members who most likely wouldn't be upright at the moment... or possibly even breathing. You gain Gentle Scion - a number of times per day equal to your wisdom modifier, you may heal 1d4 hp of damage on a willing target with a touch of your hand as a swift action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity - you may target yourself with this ability if needs be. Count this as a spell-like ability.
And finally...
3) Here's a link to the campsite map on google drive. The wagon and office are now destroyed, but it should give you an idea of the dimensions, just in case.

So yeah... level yourselves up, and I'll see you back in the main thread soon. Roll on scenario 2!

hp: 1d8 ⇒ 6
Best d8 I've rolled all game ;). Incidentally, hydrolic push is no longer prepared - if we get time to rest up and prepare new spells, I'll be preparing one each of Mage Armour (+4 AC) and Mirror Strike (allows me to hit two enemies at once, at +2 if they're flanking me, for half damage each - emergencies only).
Silas Bishop
Please please please can I take the average instead of rolling? (ie 3.5 instead of d6).
I cannot get the google link to work - anyone else?
Thanks - I am having a ball with the campaign so far!
Should we level up here & now , or will we be returning to base?
Silas Bishop
Oops, forgot to use Avatar, sorry... Let me narrow things down
Spell wise I'm probably looking at Gravity Bow, Keen Senses, Sleep, Charm Person, Disguise Self, Enlarge Person and Crafter's Fortune.@GM: Sounds good to me
Glad I posted this because it looks like my spells known list got deleted somehow. I know I switched one of these for sleep...
Silas Bishop
1: Gravity Bow, Keen Senses, Sleep, Charm Person, Disguise Self, Enlarge Person and Crafter's Fortune.
2: Shield, X
@Gatsby: Would Illusion of calm cover up spellcasting?
Kay Towerweed
Hmmmmm, I think it left my pack in the office. That was thoughtless of me.
Caveth Itxaro
When the time comes, if it does, to do the treat deadly wounds roll, it might be better if you assist me rather than the other way around, Silas. With my wisdom, I have the possibility of adding 2 additional HP's on a very good roll whereas you do not. I suppose that's a little meta and that might not be something you would do in character so I won't insist, it's just a thought to consider.
Silas Bishop
Normally yes, but I have taken a special trait (precise treatment) that lets Silas use his int modifier.
Which means he can restore 4 HP if all works well! You challenge Skadi! I was just going to have her tell people, but now...
@Gatsby: How much does the chest weigh?
Kay Towerweed
I'm very likely to be able to aid with Heal as well, and with some luck someone will find my Healer's Kit.
Caveth Itxaro
Oh wow, I didn't realize it took 10 minutes to cast! I should check the SRD instead of going by memory since that's totally not how the spell worked in 3.5. I may have even needed more than one casting at 1d4HP per. Sorry about that but it wouldn't make that much difference in the grand scheme; it'll just be longer and we'll get wetter before we can use the ladder.
Silas Bishop
Not necessarily... wood has 10 HP/inch and you only need to restore half. On average it would take 20 minutes to restore 1 inch thick ladder strut.
I think Kay effectively restored some with her jury rigging already. Up to Gatsby
If you do it it will be your action for a while though.
Yeah, in 3.5 that spell was broken. Check out Make Whole.
GM Gatsby
Right, the professor is hopefully returning some point soon - he's been real-life busy, which I can certainly respect.
As for now, assume he is with you but quiet and relatively unhurt, not in need of healing for the moment.
SO! Kay can assign the rolls, Caveth and Silas can take first watch (if I remember rightly), and with the stove lit and some blankets found you'll warm up through the night. I'll make a night-time transition post, and then on to day two.
Kay Towerweed
So the six in need of healing are (in alphabetical order by surname) with a 1d1000 roll to then determine order.
Caveth Itxaro 1d1000 ⇒ 826
Mr Moffrey 1d1000 ⇒ 647
Joseph Pilchard 1d1000 ⇒ 275
Harbek Toruun 1d1000 ⇒ 123
Kay Towerweed 1d1000 ⇒ 282
Harbek Toruun
Silas Bishop
Joseph Pilchard
Kay Towerweed
Mr Moffrey
Caveth Itxaro
Kay 10 1d1000 ⇒ 151
Kay 23 1d1000 ⇒ 465
Silas 23 1d1000 ⇒ 390
Silas 18 1d1000 ⇒ 910
Caveth 14 1d1000 ⇒ 696
Catheth 9 1d1000 ⇒ 234
Fortunately all the Aid Another beat DC 10, Aid is included in these totals.
Kay 12
Caveth 11
Silas 25
Kay 25
Caveth 16
Silas 20
And bringing it all together:
Harbek: Kay wasn’t able to do much for your injuries, though they won't get any worse.
Silas: Caveth couldn’t help you either, perhaps because you were too busy helping others.
Joseph: Silas healed you for 6 (your level + 4 from Int mod [trait modification]) hp.
Kay: You can’t heal yourself (I’ll swap with the next person on the list)
Mr Moffrey: Kay healed you for (your level +1 hp).
Kay: Caveth doesn’t quite manage to return hp (14 +3 kit +2 Aid = 19)
Caveth: Silas returns 2 hp to you.
A total of 12 uses from Healer’s kits have been consumed.
I'll copy-paste the results to the gameplay page.

YAYYY! Now it is a holiday, or at least I'm going to treat it like one! Welcome back!
You've got a bit of catching up to do - for ease of use, though, let's say that you escaped the towering office inferno with only 1d3 damage. It's a little unrealistic, I'm afraid, but I don't want you to retroactively drop dead!
GM Gatsby
Understandable. Though I do suggest one retroactive action - looting the wreckage. There was a results table higher up a thread, maybe twenty or thirty posts back from the present, and you haven't exactly found a huge amount of useful material as a party yet.
You do also still have a journal you found down the side of a worker-housing bunk...
Professor Miraculous
Yes, I remember that but I figured that it has not been the right time to read it. Things happened rather rapidly after finding that and I didn't want to be that guy in the movies that does something like that at the most inappropriate time....
I will take your advice and loot the wreckage.
