Rusty life continues to ebb away as he takes further damage from the poison. His battered body can do little to help him, but deep in his unconsciousness he retches violently, and the poison stops.

Seeing Dorvin heading for the stairs, Tanya moves and sends another blast of force towards the doughty warleader.

"The Teardrop is ours and you can do nothing to stop us. Nothing," she gloats.

The blast hits Dorvin in the back ...

Don't know what your current hp total is, Dorvin. Be you up or down?

Return from Death's Door, immediate interrupt when an ally fails a death saving throw-the target succeeds on the saving throw and can spend a healing surge + 5, sorry Rusty I had missed the first one completely.

Amenephus sees Rusty struggling with life and channels some breath back into him.

Amenephus calls on his goddess and she responds. Against all odds and likelyhood, Rusty gasps and regains consciousness.

It's really, really hard to kill a pc ...

Thanks Amenephus!! Rusty is on 27/83 HP now.

Nayce runs after the Kyton and attempts to check his progress.

Move to V17. Executioner's noose on K3. 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29 vs Fort. 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 force damage on a hit and it is pulled to V18 and slowed to eomnt. Put a second shroud on him.

Minor: Sheltering dark. Close burst 2. Creates a zone that lasts until the end of your next turn. You have concealment while in the zone. When you leave the zone, you become invisible until the end of your turn.

Nayce pounds after the devil, dragging it towards him and holding it in a dark veil while he bloodies it.

Unable to do much to escape, the devil lashes at the half-elf forcing him to a standsill before making a break for rather slow freedom.

Bound By Gold (Ref). On hit target takes 10 ongoing fire and is restrained.
1d20+9=21. Just hits even with a -2 penalty.
Nayce is restrained and takes 10 ongoing damage (se both)

"Intercept the kyton. Take Isari with you." Guldarin sends one command to the angelic messenger. "Finish that devil off." And another to the sword angel. Shards of holy lightning burst from the end of his rod and reach for the nearest devils.

Move action. The Angelic Messenger lifts Isari in it's arms and flies to U20, depositing him adjacent to the hamatula with the teardrop in U21. That probably provokes an Opportunity Attack on the AM from K1.
Minor, the sword angel swings yet again at his hamatula friend, attack 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34 vs Fortitude, damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Standard, Grasping Shards,
target H1, attack 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 24 vs Ref
target K1, attack 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23 vs Ref

What is the AM's AC?
OA from K1
1d20+16=28. 2d4+2=8 damage if it hits - which I suspect it does.

Wafted on angel's wings, Isari goes eyeball to eyeball with the kyton. For the other devils, Guldarin's latest round of attacks are simply too much and both collapse having given their all in Mammon's service.

Tarisaul is not giving up so easily however, and staggers to the top of one of the small forges to bring Isari to his knees. He misses and screams with frustration, foul oaths pouring from his mouth.

Recharge Bludgeoning Shadow Tentacles. 1d6=3. No.

Same defences as Guldarin. So AC24. And now 22/30 hit points.

Male Half-elf Assassin 14 / Obsidian Stalker

How is K1 making opportunity attacks? It was already dead before Guldarin's turn.

Also, do I get an OA on K3? That doesn't look like a shift.

Quite right on all counts Nayce. No OA from dead devil (forgot to take it off the map). Angelic Messenger is just fine. Nayce also gets an OA on the kyton - didn't shift and made mental note to ask you to OA and then forgot.

Nayce takes a belated swing at the retreating kyton.
That would be your missing OA :)

Isari's blade bounces off the creature, but he has it nicely penned in.

Move to P22. Charge to U20. 1d20+13+1 = 22 vs AC

Dorvin yells "We won't forget ye, lass!" as he pelts down the stairs and charges towards the beleaguered kyton.

Dorvin hurtles back down the stairs and cuts off another line of escape for the Kyton. His attack misses, but it scarcely matters. The devil has few places to go.

High above, Tanya flexes her fingers and prays aloud to Mammon.

Rusty makes his way towards the group collecting around the kyton, while Tanya moves closer to the ledge and invokes her devilish patron. He seems inclined to answer her ...

Nayce writhes in pain from the fiery restraints. Bloodied, thanks to the ongoing damage.

Nayce sends his noose after the Kyton yet again.

A third shroud on K3. Executioner's Noose using 3 shrouds. 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22 vs Fort. 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14 force damage on a hit, plus it is slowed to EOMNT. 3d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 1) = 9 shroud damage.

I saved successfully.

Edit: Rerolling the 1 on shrouds (brutal) 1d6 ⇒ 2.

That's 24 damage on a hit, plus it's slowed to EOMNT. If it's a miss, I get all but 1 of the brutal dice damage anyway (8 total) but no other effects.

Nayce loops a shadowly noose over the unsuspecting kyton, severely damaging it.

Hit its Fort exactly. Are you invisible? Sorry to ask, but I'm not entirely clear how the power works. Your concealing zone ends now, but do you just become invisible or is that only applicable if you leave the zone before the end of this turn?

Struggling to move, the kyton has limited options. It lashes out blindly at Dorvin. It rages impotently as sight returns and it sees just how much of a predicament it is in.

While Guldarin's angel friend lands a crafty blow on Tarisaul, the invoker himself takes the prudent view and ducks behind a forge. Nor is his caution misplaced.

Moving into the water, Tarisaul's prayers are answered and he launches another savage attack on the companions, heedless of whether or not he hits his own ally. The results are better than Tanya's attack, but Mammon seems to mock his devoted followers as the shadowy tentacles do surprisingly little damage.

Note to all. Been smitten by vile bug doubtless transmitted by some snot-filled child. I've warned of possible go-slow on other threads, but I'll focus all energies on this one as you're on such a knife-edge.

An immobilised creature can't move. Can they be moved? If so, someone needs to push my Angelic Messenger over to Amenephus, so if can heal him. Assuming the DM would allow that.

From PHB
Immobilised:
You can't move from your space, although you can teleport and can be forced to move by a push, a pull or a slide.

If someone has a power that will enable that, I am happy to allow it.
