GM Tribute |

There is a space for someone to join Will along the platform, but it would allow the lizard to strike as you rise.
There is the sound of arcane words and the world seems to speed up for the lizard and some of the creatures around him. Magic is obviously at work here!!
The high pitched voice continues:
"I am in control of time and space here. It is best you disarm now. I will do not treat armed intruders as guests."

William Allenin |

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
On hearing the spell cast William will return to the previous plan.
So much for the truce!
Scimitar+TWF: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 221d6 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Shield Spike+TWF: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 211d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

GM Tribute |

Skirros steps up and is attacked by the hasted lizard.
attack/damage: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 6 + 2 = 21
The teeth close in damage: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (1, 5) + 5 = 11
attack1/attack2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 221d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
The savage lizard attacks with extra speed but no longer enjoys a height advantage and lands another blow.
damage: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 3) + 5 = 13
The next set of arcane words produce an extremely nauseous cloud engulfing the lizard, a tasloi, Will, Skirros and anyone on the last fifteen feet of the dangling 40 foot rope.
The speedy lizard seems unaffected, but the little tasloi is unable to attack as he withdraws through the fumes.

Skirros the Savage |

Skirros, barely standing, tries to cover her mouth and nose and not breath in the noxious fumes. Fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 In her weakened condition she is unable to control her gagging, and begins to violently expel the contents of her stomach.

Bikmalu |

Spellcraft 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Perception 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
Fort if needed 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Too bad I can't warn them until I shift back...
Bikmalu flies back down and takes back control over his flaming sphere rolling it back over the lizard.
Last round for that one 3d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 2) = 12 DC 17 Reflex save to negate

GM Tribute |

Bikmalu easily stays in control of and moves to direct his sphere to hit the lizard as he maneuvres through the noxious cloud. The lizard manages to avoid the worst of the sphere as it singes him before departing. reflex: 1d20 ⇒ 20
William and Bikmalu seem to have overcome the worst of the noxious cloud.
Will and Bikmalu are not effected, everyone else has a single move action.

Vardlon |

Spellcraft if possible: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Fort. save if needed: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Bikmalu, stop using up all the good rolls.
Another good spell, Vardlon thinks. Can't wait to get more proficient. Assuming we live through all this. With our luck, though, it's probably a sorcerer.

Sandrion Delcour |

Sandrion, gagging and coughing, shimmies up the rope onto the other side of the cliff. Once there he takes stock of the situation.
Have hostilities resumed? It seems that way. I would not have disarmed myself here as well, it would have shown weakness to the magic-wielder here.

Skirros the Savage |

Is it my turn again? I'll post this in any case, and if it isn't, you can insert it later if it makes sense.
Still violently ill, Skirros thinks: I've got to get out of this cloud!
She dashes forward, trying to get past the tasloi and into what she assumes is fresh air somewhere beyond him. She can't back up, since she has her back to nothing but air and knows her companions are climbing up.
Move action combined with two tumble attempts. The first to move through the Tasloi's square, and the second to move past the lizard without provoking an AoO. Since she can't see, she will simply try to move to AB7: Tumble1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14, Tumble2+5 DC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

GM Tribute |

Skirros attempts to tumble past the lizard and follows the tasloi. Near the edge of the cloud Skirros sees some creatures waiting just outside the cloud. Skirros is unable to make it to the edge do to the nasty poison.
AoO lizard: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 262d6 + 5 ⇒ (6, 1) + 5 = 121d100 ⇒ 22
confirm? lizard: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 102d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 3) + 5 = 131d100 ⇒ 97
Skirros takes a nasty bite trying to slip past that barely avoids the vitals. 12 more damage
The squeaky voice continues:
"They are still resisting!"

Skirros the Savage |

The lizard's final bite takes Skirros down ... she'd only been hanging on by a thread. She collapses on the ground, still vomiting forth her last meal as the lizard tears at her flesh.
Since Skirros has a Con of 10 (I know, low, but I needed my points for my prime stats) she is now dead. Not dying-dead, but dead-dead. Let us all say a quick prayer for the argumentative half-elf that never knew her father.

GM Tribute |

With the lizard attacking Skirros, Milhar, Talon and Sandrion climb up to the ledge in the middle of the cloud. The prone form of Skirros is closer to the edge.
Fort DC 17 Save needed if you made it last time.
reflex lizard: 1d20 ⇒ 3
The lizard is almost burned to death. He attacks clockwise/hit/damage: 1d4 ⇒ 41d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 192d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 3) + 5 = 13
hit/damage: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 192d6 + 5 ⇒ (1, 1) + 5 = 7
Milhar avoids the lizard!!! But the party cannot avoid the deluge of ice pellets that strike around them bludgeoning and freezing them and putting out the sphere. Vardlon informs you it is a nasty ice storm spell between coughs.
bludgeon damage/cold damage: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 6) = 162d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8
The lizard succumbs to the massive ice and bludgeoning.
The entire ledge is coated with sleet and ice (difficult terrain).

Sandrion Delcour |

Sandrion no sooner takes stock of the situation before being pelted by the ice cold hailstones. A sense of despair fills his heart. It is not looking good for us now, is there anywhere to hide around here?
He draws his rapier and prepares for the worst.

Vardlon |

Is Vardlon back on the far side also?
I have the impression that Vardlon is dangling on a rope hanging off the enemies' side of the chasm, nauseated, and unable to see through the fog. There's not much he can do that's useful.

Vardlon |

Vardlon, without actually going prone, tries to look as nonthreatening as possible—which shouldn't be too difficult, as there's not much he can do that's threatening.
Does ice storm make the area slippery? I thought that was sleet storm.

GM Tribute |

Ice storm only makes difficult terrain. I assume it leaves some ice behind.===I do not see any way out for those in the cloud, so I will proceed to the captivity scenario.
The last thing those in the cloud remember is a barrage of force bolts unerringly hitting them at close range before falling unconscious.
