GM: Since you mention Tieflings, can they roll on the variant ability chart?

If you'd like to take the feat to do so, than go ahead, otherwise I don't see why you should. Sure there's the chance you get a +4 to Dex, or wings, or something game breaking, but I feel like if your gonna do that, taking it as a feat is a good way to keep things pretty even if it goes haywire. Plus as a feat you keep your other abilities in addition to your new ones.

I think the feat is to choose a different heritage (like Asura-Blood, Oni-Blood, etc). And I assumed that was not required, since everybody seems to handwave it (to make them a bit closer to Aasimar).

If you still maintain the need for the feat, I'll have to adjust some things.

Sovereign Court

Well, you don't need the feat to take a separate bloodline (I'm not that cruel) but you can take it to roll on the variant ability table..

Roll twice and take both powers if you decide to do it...

So far we have the following submissions:

Lady Cathryn d'Endrin, human fighter, played by Groundhog
Dr. Charles Evans / Arratu, skinwalker vigilante, played by Mustachioed
Kelly Fitzroy, human occultist, played by Diego Rossi
Magda Loran, changeling gunslinger (pistelero), played by tonyz
Sebastian Crenshaw, black power inquisitor of Nethys, played by Jereru
Tasche Madden, human magus (eldritch archer), played by Goddity

and these proposals

dhampir inquisitor, played by chillblame
halfling vigilante, played by Fobok
ratfolk alchemist, played by Skorn
Septimus, new human symbiat, played by Philo Pharynx
Urhal ton-Thuyek, constructed pugilist brawler, played by Simeon

I've got a gun-wielding Eldritch Archer coming up. Just not quite finished yet.

Urhal is fully complete, I just don't have an alias for him, just as a note for future lists.

Great submissions so far, looking for more on the healing front if possible, I know how difficult games can get without at least one person able to at minimum channel healing...

Would you be interested in an Asmodean Advocate? He could serve as a party face, healer, and would have lots of good hooks into the challenges the campaign brings. Would not be able to channel, but could have healing spells.

1d100 ⇒ 48 You are invisible to all unintelligent undead. This is a supernatural ability.

1d100 ⇒ 46 You gain an additional +2 racial bonus to your Intelligence score.

Ok, totally worth a feat. Done.

This is Ouachitonian, presenting Guillaume, tiefling Magus (Eldritch Archer) and sometime agent of the Sable Company. I'll mix in some gunslinger at some point, but having worked study at the Theumanexus College into his background, it didn't seem right for him to start as a non-caster then just suddenly gain magic at a level-up. Like most Magi, his primary tactic is (or will be, once he gets Spellstrike) novaing with a full attack and spell (usually Snowball, in this case). Given his high intelligence, he can also help out a bit with skills and languages. I made sure Celestial Healing was in his spellbook, though it's about the least useful healing spell available. Unfortuntely, Eldritch Archer gives up UMD as a class skill and as a tiefling my CHA isn't great, so UMD to use CLW wands and the like isn't all that viable for me. Background and crunch are in the profile.

If so, here is a first draft. He is a Korvosan barrister who primarily works on contract law and as a acolyte for the Church of Asmodeus.

I am aware of Iquisitors healing power, as well so that of bards, But without the ability to spontaneously change any spell into a healing spell, they happen to be better field medics than actual healers...

Like, post combat/during rests. Don't worry However, seeing that this is an industrial period I'm gonna litter the streets with ways to get better/ places you probably shouldn't roll around in.

Medicine is coming into fuition, and drugs are starting to be mass produced for the public. Nine Hells, you could go to a corner store and buy a bottle of opiums for less than a silver piece.

Also, money will be referred to as gold and silver still, although the item itself are marks. Gold marks are bills, silver marks coins, bronze and copper also coins.
Platnum obviously is a larger bill :P

This is just for flavor of course.

Dr. Evans remarks, "Who is your opium guy, friend? You are getting ripped off on your opium. Let me give you an address and tell him Chuck send you."

But... Inquisitors are already spontaneous casters...

Though I agree the PC is not built towards this goal. It would be only a patch.

What's the deal with the Gather Information skill?

All right, I know this concept is really pushing it. I figured, since the identity switch mechanic is at least partially based on disguise, and the childlike feat that's me make disguise checks to look like a human child without penalty for the age and race difference, I'm hoping it can work.

I started out thinking of vigilante concepts by thinking about various superheroes. And they got to thinking of Superman, where Clark Kent is the costume, really, rather than Superman. Then, when looking at the players guide for the AP, and seeing the whole issue of Lammi's Lambs, and how much it ties into character backgrounds, I had to jump on the idea.

Both of the following are also on the alias:

Background:

The Shadow Spider, they call him. At least, those few that knew of him yet. He was tiny, like a spider, and would strike from the shadows. The big difference was that unlike a spider he only preyed on those who would harm innocents. Especially children.

Devon was once a gunsmith, making a living doing detailed work, taking advantage of his tiny fingers for detailed craftwork. He had a wife, Robita, though she had died giving birth to their son, Luk. Luk became his reason for living, and he loved his son more than anything in the world. Until the day, walking through the market, Luk vanished.

At first, Devon assumed his son had wandered off. Halfling children, especially, could vanish from sight quite easily. But as his search grew more desperate, he started remembering stories that he’d heard. Stories about “Lammi’s Lambs”. When the police would do nothing, he hatched a plan.

Over the years, Devon noticed that a majority of the (non-halfling) people who stepped into a shop for the first time, when they first saw him, would mistake him for a human child. He decided to put that to good use. Packing a room full of money and supplies, as well as some expensive weapons and armour he had collected, he went out on a boat and faked his death in an accident. A few weeks later, a new apparently human child showed up with the street rats. Tobin.

Initially, he only hoped to be picked up to become one of Lammi’s Lambs, so he could get in to find his son. That didn’t happen, but over time he started noticing how people were treating the poor and homeless children. Sometimes, even, wealthy children were hurt and abused. That infuriated him. He was without his child, and these people were wasting their chances. He also saw - although it affected him less - evil acts being committed even against adults by those who didn’t even realise he was there.

As a real child, Devon had grown up among thieves. Now, he worked to reawaken those skills. From then on, during the day he would be Tobin, a human child on his own just trying to survive in the city. At night, his real self would come out, dressing in dark clothes and a mask, wielding guns and rapier to go after those who would do evil. Most of all, though, The Shadow Spider hunted for Gaedren Lamm, to get his son back and punish the crime lord. The name Devon disappeared, until the time he recovered his son and returned to his old life.

It was an old skill with 3.5, which has been changed and melded into Diplomacy for Pathfinder.

If there's one thing Pathfinder does better than 3.5, it's definitely hang out skill points. 3.5 with two skills for stealth, two skills for opening locks and disabling traps, and much much more, all to suck away those skill points it gave you in the first place. Meaning you can have a person super skilled at moving silently, but who can't hide worth jack!

Yeah, if you come across gather information, it's Diplomacy now...

Sovereign Court

Bump!

Today and tomorrow are the last days to apply applications. I'll review them over the weekend and post whenever I get done reviewing them who I've picked,

So far we have alot of good applications ^-^
Let's keep it up.

I'm amazed of how distracted I keep getting from this character.

Her name is Veronica Belle, an Empricist Investigator and a Green Hag Changeling with the Witchborn alternate trait for more INT.

I'm going in the direction of either Missing Child or Drug Addict.

Missing Child would be another Changeling, either one she adopted because she saw herself in the child.

Drug Addict only became an option when I found out there is an extract I can make that makes a creature addicted to a certain stuff, and thought her end goal having Lamm get addicted to his own drug was an interesting idea.

She is being built to be a duel wielder, gun and dagger, though that sword cane is super tempting and thematically awesome.

What I love about Investigators is that they have access to all extracts in their list if their INT is high enough, they just can't make them until higher level. Which is kind of weird when you think about it.

She wears gloves that are meant to hide but really kind of flatter her clawed fingers. I'm imagining more Gargoyle claws than sharp fingernails.

Ever since the disappearance of her daughter, she's focused completely on finding her, and her extracts reflect that.

In process of reading a few guides about Talents and what feats, traits etc go well with the character, campaign, and class.

Scarab Sages

Pathfinder Rulebook, Starfinder Society Subscriber

I'd like to put my hat in with a Human Silksworn Occultist, if it's not oo late. Crunch incoming.

4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 3) = 15

Sovereign Court

So I'll give it until about 8PM mountain time(that's my timezone) before I close it, giving y'all another 10-ish hours to get stuff done.

Hey, I forgot to post again! Anyway, I've expanded what I wanted to expand, so Cathryn is about as ready as she's ever going to get.

Noooo
I'm stuck at the doctors and not going to make it!!!

Being in different timezones sucks ass.

10 hour warning at 3:50am Saturday morning. My punishment for sleeping in :c

Here she is.

Only gear shopping to do but her stats, feats, and BG are all there.

An updated summary list now that recruitment is closed. If I made any errors, please post a correct. I linked to the alias where possible.

This concept has really had me thinking. I'm thinking about running something similar.

Thanks for the selection! I'll have the alias up soon. On a side note, the concept of an industrial Golarion has gotten me thinking about running something like it.
