Hey Omen, as a quick heads up, I'm replacing Vest of Surgery with Lens of Detection on my magic item wish list, now that Gabe has Survival as a class skill. (I also plan on getting a Masterwork Survival kit xD). Between those two items, Gabe should actually be a pretty decent survival guy, especially once he hits level 8 and gets another 8 juicy skill points. It's not a real high priority right now, all things considering, but with the level increase we're even further behind so there ya go. XD
Also, hope its the good kind of busy with school! If there is such a thing that is.
Updated Wish list:
(From top to bottom, favorite to least (though all of them are pretty good).
Alluring Headband of Charisma +2
Magic Sword of Some kind
Lens of Detection Gloves, Healers
In an effort to not go through near-mindless grinding when the pace of the game has slowed down considerably, I'm going to cut the dungeon short (especially since you're only about 1/3 of the way done). There's a very good chance I won't be able to post again today at all, but Friday I should be able to get a very large post that moves on into the next arc.

GM, I'm getting the impression from the party it's not the fact we're in a dungeon that's an issue, but rather the reality we've been in a room for one RL week with an amount of game interactivity that could've been done in under 5 minutes on a table It's not there was endless combat, labyrinthine puzzles, or infinite NPC interactions to bog things down; it's there was simply no ratification of the more secretarial parts.
If you feel it best to prevent that from repeating though, please move abridged as you said.
Unfortunately the nature of PbPs can slow down certain aspects of the campaign, although clearly much of it was from my end. With that being brought up though, I'll put it to a vote; would you guys like to finish the dungeon or cut it short?

Skip it is. Instead of requiring the trap at each corner of the maze to all be completed to open the front door we'll say it was just this one. Tonight or tomorrow I'll move things along.
Apologies for the trouble, Omen. The maze was fun, but it's not quite as suited to PbP games as it would be a regular game, where we could devote a session or two to the thing and be done. Thank you for the effort though, I enjoyed having a chance to be clever every once in a while.

Thanks everybody. I need to play catch up with my school work then I'll get the game moving again, you guys can expect some posts around the end of the week.
Did anyone ever attempt the Knowledge Arcana check to learn more about what's affecting Bjorkus and Toramin? I checked back and I don't think anyone did.
Do remember that bards, inquisitors, and sorcerers only have access to so many spells, and even wizards and witches normally do not have access to all of the spells on their lists (until very high levels). Honestly I didn't expect for you guys to get any help with the curse for a bit of time, but logically it made sense that a 3rd level cleric knowing he was going to be tortured would have prepared the spell.
This battle is only one of many, and in the big picture not overly important. Right now it's just the Aestherics stalling until the party gets the slaves riled up, so even if they could get help with the curse they would (most likely) be doing the same thing. However, don't take that as a sign of railroading, it's simply what Krokar and Heff have in mind to do. As far as the curse goes, rest assured you will get help, it's just that having circumstantial spells are a moment's notice would be very lucky.

As far as magic items go, pearls of power are pretty common. I mean, the whitecloaks are all equipped with custom magic items. It seems strange that these Aestheric special forces guys don't have a couple pearl IIs on them. Heff was carrying around universal solvent!
So in short, no, there's nothing we can do about it?
He said he would contact people and get back to you. He can't just snap his fingers and have wizards appear in front of him. Remember that the Aestherics are very busy with their own missions right now. Give it more than 2 seconds.

Let me read through the large spike of posts. I'll get something up in a bit.
Also, I now have a smartphone, so I should be able to post more often. Since it's my first, I won't be that proficient for a bit. Damned thing took 4.5 hours to get on Wednesday though, so that's why I couldn't post then. As some of you have noticed, the site was sketchy on Thursday. Probably some Scots talking about unicorns in an affidavit where they may actually appear now the flag is out of the question.
