Bjorkus knows the way out.

It's the rest of you guys that are lost.

You’ve got it all wrong. Bjorkus wears the unnaturally tight pants and does all the singing.

You get to be Jennifer Connoly.

Waiting on Gabriel.

Since Toramin has a strength enhancement bonus already then, Dalton's next action when it comes around will be to use Bull's Strength on Bjorkus.

World-building questions of varying depth. Feel free to separate what Bjorkus would know from what's just general player knowledge.

1) What's the campaign world called?

2) How big is it (physically) compared to earth?

3) What's the general magic-level of the world at large? The areas we've been in have been pretty high-magic. Are there areas that are even higher? Lower? Zero-magic?

4) What's the name of the continent the campaign's taken place on thus far?

5) What's the nature of piracy (at least the circles Bjorkus and his sorts are from)? Are they the romanticized Pirates of the Caribbean sorts or something darker? Who do they prey on? Where are their havens? Are their any nations/kingdoms that typically issue letters of marque to pirates?

That's it for now. =)

Today was Truck day. We got our supplies in. I usually get home an hour early, but today I had to stay the full shift plus change. Also..

%*#$* 59 posts in dicussion guys. Really? XD

I haven't caught up on gameplay but I will shortly.

Bjorkus, I think the reforging idea could be awesome!

Gabe also got that Cracked Green Prism, so if Toramin's using the belt I think I might use that.

And... uh... if I missed anything else I will let you know! Reading the gameplay thread now.

1) I never came up with one.

2) From west the east the entire map is about 100 miles.

3) All of the above. My worlds are always very varied.

4) Erandor. I always forget that.

5) The pirates in that movie aren't that romanticized. There is plenty of killing and alluded raping and whatnot, but they keep most of the dark stuff off screen. They do both, there are pirates who only steal and don't want to hurt anybody and there are cruel souls that live to kill and rape and steal. They have seven pirate lords who hold court together and keep the pirate somewhat organized, including having a king. The power is loosely held and volatile. Bjorkus's father is one of the lords, but has never been the king at any time. They prey on whoever they want. You don't know where their important havens are. Andril hates the pirates with a passion and Xilres also openly opposes them. Yenrick is too caught up in their own struggle to care, Gesthil avoids them, and Brumik is landlocked so they don't really care.

I'm glad I didn't smite with that attack or Gabe might have lost the morning star too. I almost -want- a keen weapon at this point. If only longswords were 18-20... although falchions are pretty nice...

Also, Gabe made a religion check for the first time in his life! I decided to flavor it as him recalling a story his mother had told him about cursed genies. Hope that helps.

Four nations in a hundred miles? That seems very small.

2) I meant the entire world. The entire world is only 100 miles across? That'd make it pretty tiny. (Not that that's a problem.)

5) Bjorkus may not know where the big-wig pirate havens are but he'd probably know where the basic ones are. He'd know where to offload booty and some safe places to resupply and recruit new crew. Where are those places. I don't need specifics necessarily some general ideas would be cool.

Historically nobody liked pirates but a letter of marque was a way of making sure the bandits were working for you.

Hrm. Lindale had our Wand of Cure Light Wounds. Shall we assume he returned them or are they lost to us?

You can assume any gear non-specific to Lindale remained behind. For instance he would take any of his personal armor or weapons, but would leave behind gear the was primarily used for the group.

I just looked up the next creature I'm going to throw at you. You guys are gonna hate me.

I believe the last time we used the want it had around 25 charges left.

Cause that woul mean Andril's like 30 miles across. Rhode Island is bigger than that.

Well it makes for more practical in-character travel at least.

I think we're good to move on in gameplay.

Edit: And we're moving!

It is, but think about it. You traveled from the edge of Andril to the middle of Yenrick in about two weeks. It makes sense geographically.

Also remember that this is the known world. Any other area is either too far across the sea to have been discovered yet or is beyond the seemingly endless forest to the south.

Rilka's bonus to perception vs traps from trapfinding probably just saved you guys a lot of hassle.

That forest... If you ever make a game that explores that forest, I call dibs on the Ranger/druid character.

Oh you'll be in there at some point. You'll be in every corner of this world at some point or another. Even the Isle of Dead Heroes. At about level 20 that is.

Male Tiefling Paladin 7 Tiefling, Init +0, Hp: 67/67, AC: 21/Touch: 10/ Flatfooted: 21, Resist 5: Fire, Electricity; Fort: 11/Ref: 6/ Will: 9, CMD: 21, Perception +0 (+2); Loh 6/10 day, Smite 2/3 day, Shatter 0/1 day

Is there anyway Rilka can jam the trap using Disable Device?

Oh, speaking of weight specific traps, I need everybody to list their character's exact height and weight in their stat block. Right at the top of your crunch between name and initiative will be good. Please check your race norms so you can have an accurate and reasonable number. Bjorkus you can use the half orc numbers.

Gabriel Leoni wrote:

It's a trap. It's assumed she can disable it unless specified otherwise. However failure could result in the trap going off.

Male Grizzly Bear 3 | HP: 30/30 l AC: 19 /T: 12/FF: 17 l Fort: +4, Ref: +5, W: +4 l Init: +2 l Per: +5; Low-light vision; Scent l Movement: 40

Bjorkus had those numbers up a long time ago.

Just letting those that don't have them know. I didn't even check to see who had them.

Also, Rilka if you decide to attempt to disable the trap just tell me and I will make the roll in secret. On a side note make sure you check out the investigator to see if it updated and also to see if you want to take any archetypes now that they're available.

For the disk, GM, I imagine people go across in pecking order, hop off, and the disk comes back across the pit for a rinse & repeat.

In what order is everybody going? Are they standing or sitting or lying down? How is the confused slave going to be handled? How close to the trap do they get on and how far past it do they get off? How far above the ground is the disc? How fast will the disc be traveling?
