I noticed some confusion about skills so here is a brief description along with a "house" rule that I use. Skills are either Prohibited (very few), cross-class (meaning you can still take ranks in it, but it costs 2 skill points to buy 1 rank) or class (no restriction and a +3 bonus to skill as long as you have at least 1 rank in it). Then they are also listed as trained only or not. Trained only skills require you to have at least one rank in them to even make a roll. However, as I recently learned, Knowledge skills (which are trained only) can be made untrained if the DC are 10 or less. This means that "aid another" knowledge skill checks, which is always DC 10, can be made by anyone. Normally, knowledge checks can not be aided. However, for research or study (like watching a creature for several minutes and discussing amongst yourselves) I allow the "aid another" option. In addition, for all "aid another" skill checks that involve collaboration I allow everyone to roll who is involved and use the best roll and use the remainder as the "aid another" rolls. I feel this gives the best "feel" for group research or collective efforts.
Ok, I'm a moron :) I went through all the trouble to show the skill rules and then forgot to get rid of the double cost for cross class skills. Ignore that part. Any skill rank costs only 1 point, but you get a +3 for class skills.
Corey, I happened to be looking at your sheet to see why you have darkvision (did you mean low-light vision?) and noticed you short-changed yourself in the Strength department. An 8 Strength only gives a -1 penalty, not -2.
Thanks, you are right. I meant to say low-light vision. Thanks for the catch. As for the strength modifier, thanks for that as well. I accidentally wrote down the value an 8 is on a 25 point buy rather than the actual ability modifier. Much appreciated.

Galahad:
I had a question here. Shol'a'Saul has a centipede as her witch familiar and I wanted to use him to try persuading the other centipedes to leave us alone. I don't think it can be dome RAW since they are vermin, but I think it would be cool anyway. Let me know what you think.
that's actually pretty funny, but I don't think it would work as they are already attacking and despite the fact that your familiar has intelligence, the others are mindless.
Quick question: Do you want us to post headers on each of our attacks that list the turn, our AC, HP and things like that? And if so, how do you want it formated?

I have yet to meet a DM that did not like you putting your AC/HP at the top of each round, and also listing the round that the action is for. I also makes life easier for you, because you will not wonder whether you have acted in a round.
So far there are two things of interest, the prison and the Whispering Way. You are pretty sure that you have found out all you can so far about the Whispering Way. Other avenues of research may open up also. There are four places to research, the professor's library (WW), the Town Hall (prison), Temple of Pharasma (prison, maybe WW) and the Unfurled Scroll (both?).
You make make one knowledge check (of the appropriate type) at each location per day spent researching there.
Quick question: I've never heard of Trust points. I'm guessing this is a measure of how much the town will put up with us running around stirring things up?
Yes, it is a special thing for this adventure only. As it increases you get benefits (like free healing, discounts etc.) if it decreases you get less cooperation and eventually angry mobs :)

Cool - mobs are good, lots of people together - time to meet Mr Fireball. BOOM
Unless there is some reason to focus on the earthbreaker, I'm planning to take Weapon Focus: Greatsword. I'll keep both around for when I need blunt damage.

Right now I am using the scimitar and shield, but once I start taking Sorcerer levels, I will not be able to use the shield, so I might switch to a big two handed weapon - Earth Breaker, Greatsword, or Falchion.
Think I'm all leveled up. Acid Splash is new 0 level spell, +1 ranks in Bluff, knowledge arcana,UMD & spellcraft (favored class bonus +1 skill point). BAB +1, +1 will save, HP total 14
I just realized something. I started as a wis/int build planning on going for mystic theurge, Due to our lack or front line power, I switched to the current Str/Cha build --> fighter/oracle/sorcerer/dragon disciple. However, I still have the Katheer Scholar fear which I no longer qualify for as it is a 15 Int. Can I change this, and how would you like me to change it. It is the regional feat that you gave to all of us and there are really no other regional Qadira feats for which I qualify, or at least want. I could take something like Cosmopolitan which is Katapesh, or something else. Please let me know so that I can fix this. I would not mind having the Katheer Scholar, but with my 10 int, I will not be getting many skill points for knowledge skills, thus making the feat much less valuable.
I am thinking City Born. Use the Korvosa type (+2 on Diplomacy), but have it be from Qadira. I really like Cosmopolitan, but I have a 10 Int and will probably never get the skill points to be able to use the extra skills.
Another option is to take a Skill Focus in something like Diplomacy which would make sense coming from a trade city as I do.
If you will allow it, I would prefer Skill Focus(Diplomacy) as it works with my character build very nicely.
Well, got home last night all exicted about starting back up and, of course, no internet as Comcast decided to work on the lines in our area at night!!!! Talk about frustrating.

Galahad, FYI just wanted to let you know Shol'a'saul is carrying the silver flute and also some other loot recovered in her gear. Her profile has all the equipment she is carrying.
