I just wonder what kind of things I might need to figure this out.
I mean I'm assuming Survival would be good. Knowledge might be necessary for knowing when the Shadowcats might be in season to have kittens....animal handling of course to train them over time and such.
So I'm not 100% sure beyond that, this is something crazy I'm ma have to go over with the GM for sure.
But thoughts are to hunting for two packs of kittens....then use them and Tempest for breeding so there is enough diversity and kinda go from there.
If you get them from kittens training them not to kill everyone will be a lot easier... And Athera would steal one and most likely name it North star.... Just saying! XD

That is a question for our GM! I don't see why not as they are hunters as well.

There will always be rumors. Hell I'm sure there where many when the Blackbury family kept Athera alive.
I would think so, I mean I don't think Athera is going to go anywhere without a guard and her whip. Even more so after what she just had to break up.
I think I have a good enough guard though, I'm sitting here trying to think if there is a test you can do to know House's and their feelings towards yours...as well as knowing lineages of the various Houses and who their progeny are....
Knowledge and Status I believe. Status for people and Knowledge for the house in total, if I am correct.

And as for the feelings though I would bet it is harder during this time. After all the Blackfyre rebellion wasn't that long ago so it would be far harder to tell a person/House's true feelings without plenty of time. And there is no cheating and looking at the future rebellions :p if they even get to happen *looks at the fat shadow cat*
Can it be healthy fat, like not like need a skateboard fat but just heavy enough to have some rounding....I feel like I wouldn't let her get too fat. I'd chastise Athera if it got too ridiculous.

I am going to say if a dog could do it Dire wolves and Shadowcats can to.
Presuming that I look at similar sized cats of our world (going off a Canadian Lynx)...then the litter would be anywhere from 1 to 4, though mountain lions are anywhere from 1 to 6...but a lot of that also depends on how abundant prey is...so hunting in the right area would be a better chance of higher kits.
Also, have you had a Water dancer before?

I'll try to re-write my background over the weekend now that I have recovered emotionally form having the first one lost.

I tossed Darkest a message just to make sure he's still alive. I know we had a bit of a hold due to the GM losing interwebs so I wanted to give him a heads up just in case he's not seen it started moving again.
So, I gotta say normally I don't get excited by character creation for an AP for Pathfinder. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the APs and want to play them all at least once because I imagine they are very good stories...but I never find one that I read the character creation, read the player's guide and then go I desperately want to play (insert exact thing) for this AP and nothing else (well almost nothing else, I thought of a couple that would still be fun but good lord is this one one I want my first pick to be accepted.)
The AP is Strange Aeons and the thing about it is that your character remembers anywhere from nothing to only fragments of their past life. I sat there and read for a bit and boom, a class I never play before instantly popped in my head DRUID. Now, I don't hate the class just never play them cause I either someone else plays one or thematically it just doesn't appeal to me for the setting. Now, this is like a Lovecraftian setting so why would Druid stand out to me. It has nothing to do with the location or how useful a Druid might be for this campaign. No, I instantly think...you know what would be hilarious to play, a druid who got zapped by whatever mind wiping BS they come up with for why you are all amnesiacs when they were in the middle of a wild shape. So you think you are a (I chose wolf here) animal for the first four levels of the campaign. But you are smart, you can't shift, and you think you are an animal companion...and you are just like...why the hell don't they think about this or try this or why does this chick's butt look good.
Edit: Forgive me, this has nothing to do with our campaign or the game setting or the game altogether...it's just an idea I got super excited about and wanted to share/talk to people with who might find my ideas hilarious or at least interesting...or hell wanna make fun of me for it.
