Dead Suns:

Snowflake: Your spell staunches the mans bleeding, but there is still a goblin on his back...

Rataji: Maybe you pretend a little too hard to be a demon, because the death of your enemy, so perfect, so violent, gives you a little bit too much satisfaction. But then again, this is for the good right? No harm in admiring a good kill...
With blue dead at your feet, run clean trough, you wave and shout. What worked the first time by accident, must work a second time on purpose right? Blue is dead, panache comes back

Justin: Again a spell leaves your paws.
goblin will save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10

This time it looks a lot more effective. Of course, its quite natural for a goblin to stand around, eyes vacant, mouth drooling. But they ususally dont do it during a wild rampage. Green is dazed

Eldira: It must be this damned wind trowing off your calculations. How else can you miss a dazed goblin?.....Now that you think of it. You smell smoke on the wind.

Edit: the GM informed me that the Goblins around me have already expired, adjusting action.

Rodrak takes a moment to adjust to his new perspective and shouts something in his guttural native language.

Dwarven:
"Who is the giant now, little greenies!"

He moves to stand just behind Eldira. Realizing that the remaining Goblins are a fair bit away he scoops up a sizable melon as he passes the fruit cart and lobs it at dazed Goblin (green) nearest to him.

Ranged attack - sizable melon: 1d20 + 4 + 1 - 6 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 1 - 6 = 171d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Oskar sprints toward more goblins as fast as possible, intent on taking the heat off the townspeople.

Double move to my current position. I don't think I had a clear shot for a charge. At least this will position me for next turn.

Dead Suns:

Rodrak: Shouting, fruity death rains from the sky. Green never knew what hit him. Sweet mother of fruit, death by watermelon.

Oskar: Unable to reach the goblins, you take up postion to strike.

Goblins Tetiary: Green definitely did not know what hit him, but orange definitely saw the whole juicy carnage happen. It blinks a few times, then starts laughing hysterically at the misfortune of its fellow. Orange is laughing to had to act

Behind the tent, purple notices little from the melon-attack.
With its prey down, it begins to chow down, ripping a chunk of flesh from the man's back and starts chewing.
bite damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Townspeople: The deaths of blue and green elicit some cheers from the crowd. In front of the stage, people crowd closer, protecting the children.

Man with the Big Stick: Green's death doesnt faze him in the least, turning his attention to orange.
big stick attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 stick damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Distracted, orange has no chance. With a big *thud* the stick connects and the body drops to the ground like a rag-doll.
Orange is dead

Taj had spent the whole last turn running and taunting the goblin, hoping to provoke an attack. That gambit failed. The goblin was still intent on his prey.

Time to finish it. She lunges at the dodgy goblin but slips a bit on the blood that is everywhere around her and misses.

There's a decent die roll! Assuming that’s a hit/KO, Oskar’s doing the action-film style neck snap, so the last thing the gobbo sees is himself suddenly turning around to face Oskar. :)

"Any of you can do something for this poor sod? Living or dead, we need to get him out of here. Gobs are not this bold unless something leads them, threatens them or flushes them out, and in all cases it means we can't assume this is over..."

Should he heal Ranger Hosk, or should he use his channel powers to heal both Hosk and Taj, and the downed villager? But wouldn't that cure the goblins as well? Hosk looks tough enough for four men, and Taj still looks scrappy. Vy walks over to take a peek at the villager whose face he can't quite see, yet.

Brawler 3 (Mutagenic Mauler) HP 26/28 | Init +5 | AC 20 (T 15 FF 16) | CMD 22 (grapple 27, trip 24, BR 23) | F +6 R +8 W +4 | Per +7 (+1 vs. giants), SM +6 | Darkvision | Effects:

Ah yes, forgive my over-eagerness. I've re-enshrinkened myself.

1 person marked this as a favorite.
M Large Canine Level 3 druid

That MIGHT be a legal charge lane. If the DM squints. And pays attention to this doughnut dangling on a string...

"Taj" | Female Peri-Blooded Aasimar Swashbuckler | HP 12/12 | AC 15 T 13 FF 12 | CMD | F +2 R +5 W +0 | Init + 3 | Per +4, SM +2 | Speed 30 Ft | Spells: None | Active Conditions: Magic Weapon

Taj follows Oskar's gaze and curses, her hair starting to catch fire again as she perceives the oncoming fight. "How many of the blasted things can there be?"

"They have fire! If any of you have buckets, organize a brigade!" She ignores the fact that with her current head of partially flaming hair, she looks like a far worse fire hazard than the three goblins. Taj double-moves towards the goblins, positioning herself to charge them next time.

If only there weren't so many carts and people in the way...

Dead Suns:

Yeah, go on. Bribe me with my weakness. Food :P
But no, even if I squint, that's not a charge lane. Maybe if you had offered me beer, I might have seen it double :P
In all seriousness, I'll make it a double move for Rodrak so we can continue. It will mean blocking rataji's charge lane, but Rodrak said he'd block the goblins way to the crowd. You can choose to re-move if you want.
Also, no magic on the goblins

Eldira: Hot air shifts currents, and the burning cart is throwing off your aim. New calculations will be necessary.

Rodrak: Using your large size to your advantage, you neatly block the direct route towards the villagers. Any goblin trying to get past you will surely get a taste of your hammer this way.

Justin: Its not an organised warren, but the humans could have done worse. But another large friend to aid will certainly help.

Rataji: Goblins do like fire as you have experienced now first hand... Now only if you could reach them before they burn more then just a cart.[/b]

Extra ugly goblin: Well, you did not think it was possible, but here he is. En even uglier goblin then the others you have seen so far.
While the horrible song the goblins were singing died with them, thins one starts it up again when entering the square. It visibly excites and pumps up the other goblins.

Townspeople: Still grouped together, they continue to move towards one of the square's exits.

Man with big stick: Cursing at the new arrivals, he seems torn between guiding the townspeople and attacking these new goblins. After what must have been some soul searching, he seems to opt for a compromise, and positiones himself between the townfolk and the goblins.

Round 8

Initiative order:
Oskar
New Goblins
Eldira
Rodrak
Rataji 2 damage
Justin
Extra ugly goblin

People with knowledge local may roll so for these new goblins

Male agathion-blooded Aasimar (Idyllkin) Oracle 3/paladin 2| HP 52/52 | AC 21 T13 FF 21 | CMD 19| F +11 R +4 W +10 | Init +0 | Per +1| Speed 20 Ft | Spells: 1st 6/6 | concentration +8| morningstar +6 (1d8+2)|channel positive energy 4/day 2D6

Vy speeds up forward, covering his sister, covering the villagers, NOT covering Eldira.

"চেষ্টা করে দেখুন এবং নীরবতা যে কুশ্রী এক. দেখে মনে হচ্ছে সে মানুষ জাগানো যাবে বাবা কি করতে পারেন মত"

Celestial:
"Try and silence that ugly one. It looks like he can rouse people like Dad can do"

"Taj" | Female Peri-Blooded Aasimar Swashbuckler | HP 12/12 | AC 15 T 13 FF 12 | CMD | F +2 R +5 W +0 | Init + 3 | Per +4, SM +2 | Speed 30 Ft | Spells: None | Active Conditions: Magic Weapon

Rataji narrows her eyes as she studies the big ugly goblin and his associates.

Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

Rataji nods at her brother's words, and then blinks. How did Rodrak get there so fast? Her charge lane was gone, but Rataji could see the strategic worth of keeping the goblins off the townspeople. She just feels acute frustration that she'll lose precious time disrupting them.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Can Rataji make out the goblin's words that he's singing? Is there a strategy being spoken here? Also, are they just setting fire to the cart? Are they armed with anything other than torches? Do they have any ranged weaponry?

" আমি তাকে দেখতে না ... এবং এটি খুব , খুব তার গান ছেড়ে রাখা কঠিন করতে পরিকল্পনা !"

Celestial:
"I do see him... And plan to make it very, very hard to keep his song up!"

Oskar sprints across the square, heading toward the troublemaking pyros.

I didn't see any way I could get in a plausible attack this turn, so I just took a double move. I'll embiggen my counter as soon as Justin's turn comes up.

Dead Suns:

Oskar: Hardly having caught your breath, the next threat beckons.
With a jog, you get up close.

New Goblins: Distracted at first by the burning cart, the goblins attention is now drawn by the approaching half orc.
Still caught up in their pyromania, they attack with their torches instead of their dogslicers.

5 foot step, attack attack red: 1d20 ⇒ 15 torch damage: 1d2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
move around, attack attack yellow: 1d20 ⇒ 9 torch damage: 1d2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
move around, attack attack blue: 1d20 ⇒ 19 torch damage: 1d2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Blue gets a lucky hit in, squeeling in glee when the torch scorches your skin. 3 bludgeoning damage and 1 fire damage, for a total of 4 damage

Round 9

Initiative order:
Oskar 4 damage
New Goblins
Eldira
Rodrak
Rataji 2 damage
Justin
Extra ugly goblin
Townspeople one wounded, one down

Male Ratfolk HP 42/42 | AC 19 T 14 FF 16 | CMD 10| F +4 R +4 W +5 +2 vs disease | Init + 3 | Perception +0/ +10 with scent I Speed 20 Ft

Just a little closer and daze yello DC 14 daze. Might go for the extra ugly one in the back, but this is really closer than i like to get to begin with.

"They're not hopped up on magic. Could be the fire. Or the song. Or goblin mating season. Or goblin mating fire songs. Hurry along and render it academic would you?"
