still need a value for the pretty horsehead headboard. If it doesn't have one, its going in the house.
I don't think this town would have anything to buy at 6 in the morning before we head out... oo wait. We could open up the alchemy shop and leave cash for 5 anti plagues. Justin is buying.
Does Eoghan want the Sihedreon medalion? It casts false life for some extra hit points and NOT keeling over.
If dayo uses the ring does it mess up his monk stuff?
Thanks for doing the math! I'm horrible with Excel (and Google Sheets).
I assume the ring occupies the hand slot, right? So if I'm using it, I can't wield a two-handed weapon. In that case, I can't use the cool +1 bastard sword. I think I'd rather have a magic weapon than a sometimes +2 to AC.
There are not a lot of shops open at 6 in the morning, but you arrived back in sandpoint way after bed time. Since you need eight hours of Zzzzzz, you'll probably wake around 7, have breakfast, pack your stuff, then hit the shops before leaving.
Your current total should be accurate. Shows you as having 2068.
Cool, I had no idea how much I had. Blame it on Vitro being an elf who doesn't realize the power of compound interest so he didn't start any savings a hundred years ago.
Yeah, but its also been eating posts. I always copy before posting because the forum has been eating posts since forever. But if you try a few times and it doesnt go trough, I just leave it to the next day.
Just a side note: if whatever's happening to Dayo is based on a haunt, Dayo and I aren't bothered by it. As written, haunts are fear-based, and we have our Paladin's immunity to fear. But this is a funny situation, so I'm all for it. :)
This weekend I'll be in Portland for a mini-vacation before flying out to Orlando Monday-Thursday for business, and then that Friday I'm GMing a homegame session.
I love how fantasy put boobs on things, but other things are not OK.
We have male rats. And let me tell you. You know a male rat from a female rat.
Male rats have balls the size of a walnut.
Its like a human would have a cantaloupe hanging between the legs.

SNicker.... I believe secret of nym rules are in effect. Or at least they are for justin.
I think its starfinder that said spacerats are hard to tell apart.
I'm gonna be a little less active here for a while. I've started my thesis and it takes up quite a bit of brainspace. I'll still post when necessary, but I'll be less roleplay-y.
Over in one of my Starfinder PbPs everyone failed their Life Sciences check to identify an Akata, but the Goblin in the group told us all it was a dog, and so now after multiple failed Life Science checks the party views any quadrupedal creature with tentacles and larval offspring as a "dog", and they're always kill on sight.
HP 45/49 | AC17 T10 FF15 CMD20 (+1 on all vs traps)| F+9 R+5 (+6 for traps) W+8 (immune to fear and disease)| Init+2 | Perception +12 (+1 for traps) (automatic Perception check within 10 ft of a trap, at +13), low-light vision | speed 20 ft
In our lodge, the in-joke is that if people fail their knowledge checks, they say "it's a panda. Highly mutable race."

Thesis drought is nearly over! Pre-final version is approved, I'm almost certainly going to get a passing grade if I hand it in as-is, but with some refinement I'll be certain of it. After Monday I'll get back to actually interacting with you, rather than just posting when needed.
Dayo would definitely need to be... Different. You can't have a Human with a negative Wisdom mod, and 2E Monks don't benefit from Charisma. But regardless of the mechanics I'd keep his personality the same.
I imagine Dayo would be a hit-and-run Monk. Maybe with a Bo Staff
Eoghan would be a switch-hitting Ranger? Or Rogue?
Snowflake would be a Cleric
Vitro would be a Wizard
Justin will need the most modding and houserules...
Although without a dedicated feobtliner maybe Dayo would just learn to don armor and become a champion of Apsu.
Vitro would be either a wizard-in-armor or MCD'ed into wizard yeah. PF2 should actually be a lot friendlier to "wizard that likes to hit things" than PF1. Right now I'm finding that his "wide" build is flagging a lot though fortunately the ranged touch spells are starting to come into their own.
I don't mind converting to 2. I have no special attachment to the current version other than that it's easier to keep everything the same. The real problem will be Justin's niche and the GM having to convert everything.
Maybe at least wait with converting until we're out of this house. Or when the Oracle class comes out. Don't know if that'll work better for Snowflake than just straight up Cleric.
EDIT: as for class: I think I'd rather be a Ranger with Rogue multiclass. I like the Paladin aspect of Eoghan, but mechanically the two other classes suit me better.
I haven't looked at PF2 at all. I don't know if its possible to build 2 wizards that are really different from each other.
Easily;
- Each school gets different focus spells, which will be available after every 10m pause. So two wizards with different specializations will often be using different spells.
- Multiclassing for casters is no longer a bad thing. Multiclassing as a whole is something that say, a third of all characters would probably want to be doing.
