Feel free to post any other farewells to Julzakama if you'd like. I have a strong feeling that the Starfinders will be running into him again soon in a future scenario.
Harqen knows the way to the Vat Garden. Kiff does too, but he accidentally dropped his comm link into the Laundromat's Dryerator™ and knows that if he stops the cycle to retrieve it that he will have to insert additional credits. Accordingly, he chooses not to share the information.
The journey from Julzakama’s Loans to the Vat Garden takes about 10 minutes. Walking through the corridors of Downlow, your ears get accustomed to hearing a constant din filled with conversations, commerce, and the sounds of every-day life. Parts of Downlow are fairly crowded, as people go about their daily business. After walking for a few minutes on approach to the Vat Garden, however, you notice there appear to be fewer people travelling through the corridors.

Perception DC12: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Ozei is increasingly concerned that the group is being followed by a shady group of thugs who are intent on attacking the party at first oppor...oh, never mind, they're ordering lunch now and chatting amiably among themselves.

Watdems harrumphs at the defeated Vesk. "Next time remember your manners young man." She looks around. "Can we pick up some food before the tour of the garden. I am hungry..."She spins her chair around waves her arm towards the entrance. Her loose bingo flap quivers in the air like some sort of jiggling, glistening beacon.
"Never met an undead Eoxian before. I do love that Zo! Reality show though."

Sense Motive check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
{"Something's wrong. This level of the station was packed just a few second ago. Where did everyone go?"}
Vchk unshoulders his rifle, his antennas darting back and forth. {"We may have hostiles ahead. Stay tight and stay quiet."} The shirren does not look in Wat's direction, but only by shear force of will.

GM Valen |

As the party travels through Downlow, just off of one of the corridors, is a disheveled nuar stands over a smoldering hot-plate stirring a greenish concoction. Believing he has spotted one or more potential customers, the pale, minotaur-like creature calls out in a loud, bullish voice, "Hot chundma for sale! Get your hot chundma!"
Give me a "marching order" if you will.

![]() |

Watdems gladly hands over her credstick. "I'll take 3!" She holds one in her mouth and another in each of her plump hands.
Watdems will be in the middle, near the front.

![]() |

Ozei prefers the front of the line, but does not insist on being first if someone else wants it.
You never know when there's going to be hot chundma available.

![]() |

Vchk pays no attention to the nuar or his chundma, despite the alluring scent. His spider shirren-sense is tingling.
Vchk takes up a marching position behind those who stab things but in front of anyone overly vulnerable to being stabbed.

Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 5
Chatting amiably at the camera, Neon subconsciously winds up walking in front of the group, hoping for a wide-angle shot to better show off their adventures. He's grown quite comfortable in the Downlow and doesn't suspect anything out of the ordinary.
"Chundma and I don't see eye-to-eye anymore. I blame Spring Break of 314, which - completely coincidentally - is when I nearly went blind." He prods a button on his comm unit, eliciting the sad sound of a trumpet from his soundboard.
Neon posts up near the front of the group so he can get that JUICY CHARGE LANE.

The nuar happily serves up some piping hot chundma (the only way to eat it!) and holds out his hooven hand in the hope of receiving a few credits. However, after giving a sniff in the air, the bovine creature grabs his hotplate quickly, but carefully as it is a hotplate, and heads down the corridor away from the Vat Garden
I just didn’t want to see what Wat was like with low blood sugar! At least, not yet.

GM Valen |

After, the station passageways open into an enormous sunken pool filled with a riotous growth of plants. A narrow walkway leading to other parts of Downlow encircles the overgrown vat, and a spire of some kind of machinery stands in its center. For such a busy section of Downlow, the area is surprisingly quiet. Two ladders and a steep staircase pierce the foliage and lead down into the vat.
Down within the vat, a cloaked figure a lanky, female figure dressed in a flight suit and wrapped in a concealing cloak is busy adding skulls to a small pile near the base of the machinery in the center of the garden. Three human thugs walk seem to be keeping an eye on the ladders, brandishing assault hammers as a warning to any that would dare to approach.
The party approaches from the “top” of the map. I have set up a tentative marching order on the slide, which I think reflects the preferences voiced. I have Harqen in front since the party was following his directions .
Map Mechanics - The floor of the Vat Garden is 15 feet lower than the walkway surrounding it, and the foliage is so thick that creatures in the vat have total concealment (50% miss chance) from creatures up on the walkway.
Within the vat, the orderly rows of plants provide concealment (20% miss chance) to opponents more than 10 feet away; enemies closer than this do not benefit from concealment. The two ladders and steep staircase leading down into the vat are easy to navigate, but the PCs can also climb down the plants themselves with a successful DC 15 Athletics check.

As the sound of heavy-booted foot falls and muffled shouts seemingly begin to bounce off the walls of the Vat Garden, the cloaked figure drops the dirty skull in her hand allowing it to clack down into an awaiting pile of additional skulls. She pulls back the hood of her cloak to reveal mostly bare, skeletal features, pocked with occasional hints of the remnants of flesh. Despite her utter lack of ears, she pauses to listen intently.

Although there's optimism in his telepathic words, Vchk holds his rifle in his hands as he follows his own advice and circles around the Vat Garden.
If the party is entering at the "top" of the map, then Vchk will take a double move action (50 ft.) to travel counterclockwise on the elevated platform around the garden towards the ladder on the "left" side of the map.

I'll say they are overlooks that are 15' above the walkway below that do lead to exits away from the garden, but are acessible only by a climb up a smooth wall.
Also, maps should now be editable.

Jarkin retorts, “What are you talking about? I ain’t no fan of…”, but stops mid-sentence as Neon’s solsword hits its mark and the death stick ™ falls from Jarkin’s mouth. Not quite incapacitated, the man again begins to raise his hammer. ”Fine!” he cries as he begins to swing. “You got me! A loud rush of air, something like a gasp, escapes the lungless undead woman. "You're gnext, gnome." he sneers, initially thinking that he had now "burned" her by being so clever and inserting a "g" before "next", only to then realize that no one would be able to hear the difference and, thus, not think him clever at all. He considers trying to explain aloud what he had done and impress upon the Starfinders just how clever he can be and that he doesn't really need this job and could, in fact, being doing something much more lucrative, but that it nice to be able to be paid directly in cash and that he enjoys the freedom of choosing days off when he wants. Deciding that it would take too long to explain all this to his opponents, he instead just tightens his grip on his hammer and looks for an opportunity to strike.

Wats wheels down the handicapped accessible ramp twirling her staff in the air. Her jowls quake and quiver as she screams. An almost sort of bloodlust in her eyes.
"TAKE ME TO JEWEL!"
Her hand cranks the oxygen levels up higher and she breathes in nice and deep, instantly beginning to cough as the pure oxygen hits her unpure lungs.
Flames flare out from the wheelchair once again.

Ozei moves down the ladder lithely. Her inner fire glows with the unsettling light of a black hole accretion disk as she has reached Full Graviton Attunement. Gesturing "come here", she pulls the enemy combatants nearer to her.
Black Hole Revelation: Fort DC13 or be pulled 10ft closer to Ozei.
Not attuned.
