Day Job - Craft (Alchemy) + Crafter's Fortune: 1d20 + 13 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 13 + 5 = 24
I went ahead and filled out the form already, since it asks for Perception and Initiative rolls.

![]() |

I'll be using this guy. I need to apply his chronicle from his last scenario, level him up, and do his purchases.

![]() |

I will be going with Tomas, a couple of purchases but thats all.
heal, temple: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28

Alright. Looks like so far we are waiting for Sarephta Nigh to check in. Once he does then we can start.
If everyone could please add their pertinent information in their header. That would greatly assist me in speeding this along also.
Once everyone checks in we will see where we are sitting sub-tier-wise
Thanks!

![]() |

Takkit will be level 8 when we start. I've been away from home the last two days and leveling up via phone sucks hard.

![]() |

Went ahead and reported.

![]() |

I am still around, just nothing to post IC atm... Doing some research and luckily it requires 24pp to be raise deaded and buy off the two negative levels with restorations. And I have 26pp as Tomas spare without this chronicle!

![]() |

Just the same, that's a buttload of Prestige - and here's a fine and dandy readout I just found of what it takes to pay for raising the dead.
There's 6 of us, so if we were to pay all in gold and divvy the cost equally (dead man included), that would come to 1,368 gp a head, remainder 2 gp.
Alternatively, we could pay 8 Prestige for the restorations, and if that came from two of us spending 4 Prestige each, and those two were spared paying any gold, we'd be left with 5,450 split 4 ways - 1,362 gp and 5 sp per person.
If one person were to pay 8 Prestige for both restorations by themselves, then 5,450 split 5 ways becomes 1,090 gp a head.
Can Prestige costs be divided among multiple contributors? That would give us more options (like splitting the whole bill into 4 Prestige from everyone).

![]() |

Correct. Gold can be split for purchasing the raise dead, ect but if you spend prestige it has to be in whole amounts. You can't all donate 2 prestige to equal 8 for the raise dead.

![]() |

I dont mind paying the prestige. If people are happy to contribute thats fine, but i wont be offended ^^.
Ill still pay the 16 prestige the raise dead anyway, leaving with the remainder 2760gp aplit between the six of us

![]() |

@Tomas: If you insist on paying the lion's share in Prestige, then I insist the rest of us split the remainder *5* ways - which makes it 552 gp per head.
Yes, Dolores, this can absolutely come out of our treasure at the end.

![]() |

I'm good with sharing the cost, especially since if he kills another one of us it's probably going to be Reavis. :)

![]() |

I've been lucky enough to never experience character death, at least in pfs anyway. I don't mind chilling in either. I feel like if I had stayed and melee'd it in the very beginning I could have done enough damage to keep it from going after Tomas so hardcore, but I never expected it to deal so much damage to him so quickly. I thought we would have time to back away, semi-buff, and move forward tactically while spot-healing Tomas until we got there.

NEWS FLASH & PERSONAL 1ST: My Witch just turned his current adventure's "Big Bad" into a newt! :D

![]() |

Haha. That is awesome :)
Apologies. Just finished a long drive today. Finally made it to Pennsylvania and will update in the morning.

![]() |

Very near the end here as this is the final battle. Hope you all have enjoyed yourself. I know this is a bit of a difficult scenario, especially with the sled mechanics and oddities. Though I think it adds a fun aspect to it with the chase down the mountainside.
Sorry you had to sit on the sidelines for half the scenario Tomas. Remorhaz' are insane for this sub-tier, but it always makes things interesting with the possibility of death around the corner.
It looks like I have everyone's information to begin the chronicles except for Sarephta. There is a link on the first post of this discussion thread or you can post it here. Whichever works. I see your day job roll so looks like all I need is your PFS and Character # for reporting.

![]() |

Sorry, I usually report this when I roll my day job check, so no clue why I didn't! Sorry!
And no worries about the scenario. I know I complained about it a lot (mainly because I have the worst handle animal score of the group and was on the receiving end a lot!), but it's been a different kind of challenge, for sure. I've still enjoyed it.

As you can see here, Tomas appears to have already decided how to manage his return - but of course I don't think it has any business being a 6-way split when he's already paying all that Prestige, so 552 apiece from the other *5* of us. All aboard?

Yup just wanted to make sure before typed them up :)
Anywho... on to the important stuff. The 6 way split on the restorations actually came out lower to 427 gp ea. Here are the chronicles. Let me know if there are any glaring errors that I can fix right away.

![]() |

Got my chronicle sheet, it's missing a date, but I don't think that'll be a huge deal. Thanks for running!

![]() |

Yea I realized I forgot the date just as I linked all of them. Just go ahead and write the 12th of May 2016 in there. The important parts are signed and initialed. Just reported so we are good to go.
I will leave this open for another day of so to make sure everyone gets their chronicles and that they are correct.

I was saying that it should be split 5 ways since Tomas is already paying all that Prestige on his own, you understand.
Also: What "curse on the ice?"

![]() |

Up to Tomas. I went with split six ways since that was the original intent from him.
Concerning the ice curse. If you were to try and dig up the bones by hand or touch the strange blue ice around it you would have contracted Withering Curse and more than likely got Mummy Rot.

![]() |

It's fine, not a problem. Thanks for the half a session! At least Among the living went better! Nothing to do with you Tyraniius but that scenario is terrible, the amount the author had to cover himself proves that!

![]() |

Heh...that was an interesting find on the author's comments. He seemed to take the Malevolent DM role a little far. I like a challenge for sure, and I did enjoy the cinematic combat, but the monster was over the top and assuming half the group had handle animal was unrealistic.
Regardless, I had fun and the group and DM were great...sorry to have lost Tomas!
Thanks for running that! :)

![]() |

That was a fun scenario for sure, however, I agree that the writer made it intentionally extra-deadly. Oh well. Thanks for running Tyranius! I'll download my chronicle tonight when I get home.

We never liberated any slaves/hostages/captives in this adventure, did we? I want to know if I can score a Faction Objective from this.

Unfortunately no slaves were liberated this scenario.
